Dawnclan Territory:
Dawnclan's territory is lightly forested, with wider, slow rivers connecting to the two small central lakes. The terrain is moss covered and gently hilly. A sandy area on the edge of a shallow river is their training area, and to the south is the two-leg gathering place where small nests nestle between thin cut trees on the edge of a small lake, which merges into the two-leg town the more south one goes.
The camp is nestled in a dip in the land, with a series of rocks that make shelters for the Leader and Medicine cat dens, as well as the nursery. The rest of the nests are in old burrows, the edge of the camp sheltered with prickly brambles. It is spacious and open, with plenty of places to relax on moss covered stones or tussle in soft grass.
the territory is marked to the east and north by a large, uncrossable river. To the south by the two-leg camp ground, and to the east by their boundary with Duskclan, which is marked most notably by a large spread of rocks along a thin river that eventually turns into Duskclan terrain. It is a spot of much conflict.

Duskclan Territory:
Duskclan's territory lies to the east side of the territories, in thicker forest where mist lingers longer in the mornings, and navigation requires agility and precision. The rivers here are often thinner, but more wild with faster waters in many of the places. Their training area is a clear patch of forest where the ground is soft and a fallen log and tree stumps provide a boundary.
Their camp is nestled up, and along the side of a hill that inclines sharply, with pathways between and going up its walls. The dens nestle close together, with the Leaders den above inside a fallen tree root system, the medicine cat below in the same system. The dens are in a mixture of burrows and makeshift nests in the brush, some nests in the jagged hill walls. Outside the nests they have a spacious area for sharing tongues and meetings, protected by thick foliage and the numerous rocks.
Their territory is marked by a sheer cliff drop to the east, an uncross able river to the north, the two-legs to the south, and their border with Dawnclan.
2000px-Decorative_text_divider.svg.png

 CURRENT EVENTS
Two-legs are in the territory!
Currently due to the nice weather, two-legs have been more prevalent than normal, walking along the paths that trace between both clans.
Though they often leave cats alone, the threat of dogs and scared prey is high.

NEWS

Frost |Old Med-cat,Duskclan|white and gray she-cat|Location: Duskclan Camp|Mentions: Patch,
The stranger was more keen than Frost had expected. Her blue gaze seemed to glisten with something akin to amusement as the she-cat spoke, an almost knowing glint in their depths.
"Survival is perhaps, the value we all share in common as cats." She purred, her tail tip twitching a few times in a more lighthearted nature. Her jaws parted, and for a moment it looked like she was going to say more when Owlfeather padded up. Frost's eyes scanned the deputy for a moment, before she let her jaws close gently.
"Owlfeather." She mewed, her head bobbing ever so slightly into a nod, her gaze twitching towards Patch as she supplied the name, casually.
" Of course. Stay here for a moment." she mewed, turning and on quiet paws, then pausing.
"I'll consider an answer to your question." She mewed towards Patch, before slipping into the medicine-cat den. She was gone for a few moments, before she returned, a leaf bundle sticking from either side of her muzzle, an amusing contrast to the sternness in her eyes. It was clear that she regarded Owlfeather differently than the rogue, perhaps because unlike Patch, she shared a small history with the deputy, like many others of the clan, though it had been many moons ago.
"Herbs will only do so much. I didn't see to many queens in my apprenticeship, but nature cannot be fought." She spoke after she placed the leaf that held her supplies down, in which were some different pieces of plants.
"Ragwort and Chamomile. " She twitched the tip of her tail at each small dosage of each herb, though it seemed more for Patches sake than Owlfeathers.
"And since they're in season , a bit of heather flower always seems to make them go down a bit easier. I prefer honey but." Her coat twitched slightly. It was peculiar, the switch between medicine-cat, and normal cat that Frost seemed to maintain. She spoke of the plants as naturally as if she were listing off prey in the forest, of scents in the air. There was even a hint of softness that developed in her motions as she neared Owlfeather, giving the deputy a few sniffs, moving around her though keeping her eyes flickering towards Patch. She could tell the rogue was uncomfortable by the presence of a cat expecting kits, and while she couldn't blame her, she knew better than to shelter the rogue. If she wanted to truly be part of the clan, she knew that this was merely a small fraction of the change she would have to experience.
"You seem healthy enough though. I'm surprised no one noticed until now, perhaps they thought you were just getting all the good prey lately." It was a quiet joke, perhaps a flicker of a personality long past, before Frost straightened, and pulled away, the gentleness giving way back to the prickly energy she seemed to exude.

Foxpaw|Apprentice of Dawnclan|Small Ginger Tabby She-cat|Location: Dawnclan camp|Mentions: Flamepaw, Willowkit, Open
Foxpaw remained at her post, curious as she listened to Shadewing, the Lightsong speak. Her brother's doubts were of interest to her, it was rare for a cat to speak so openly to their fellow warriors, but the medicine-cats seemed to always get a bit more out of those who sought their council. At his mentions of omens however, she felt her fur prickle. Had Starclan watched them trod about the one place in their territory their starry ancestors dared not to tread? She glanced at the sky, but it was blue and cloudy as usual, no acenstors giving them warnings or signs, just silence. The eavesdropped conversation went on a moment longer, before she decided she had enough. Leaving the prey at the entrance, she shifted on her paws, glancing around camp. Without the ability to leave without getting her ears clawed off by Umbraclaw or Gingerstar, she settled on walking around the camp.
Her path passed Willowkit, who was staring out at the rest of the camp with an intensity rarely seen in one so young. She paused, her unreadable yellow glare scanning the smaller tom.
"Isn't it about time you became an apprentice?" her whiskers twitched.
"Maybe in all the activity, Gingerstar forgot. Maybe you'll have to wait another moon." She purred innocently, the tone a mix of teasing, and utter disregard. As far as she was concerned, unless they knew she was above them and were willing to prove they would be good listeners and followers, the kits were of little consequence to her until they got older.
She scanned the kit once more, then shrugged her lean shoulders, continuing forward with nothing but a twitch of her tail if the kit decided to respond, pawsteps taking her to pause next to Flamepaw, where, while she gave little acknowledgement of her presence, she decided to take her respite.

Owlfeather|Duskclan|Deputy|36 Moons Old|Siamese She-Cat|Location: Medecine cat den|Mention(s) Directly: Patch, Forst|Mention(s) Indirectly: Nightfall

The deputy looked over to the loner, as she seemed to get a bit fidgety with Owlfeather around. The siamese she-cat did not blame the calico, Owlfeather was quite even tempered, especially compared to Nightfall. Giving a slight chuckle to herself, the deputy turned her attention back to Frost. It was strange seeing her bach here, with the clan and in the medicine cat den. As the medicine cat spoke of her apprenticeship, Owlfeather's mind went back to those days. That was true, most new cats who joined the clan at that time had been rogues and loners. Those kits that had grown up in clan, had been born before their mothers joined Duskclan.
The queen looked up, as Frost returned with some herbs. Sniffing the ragwort, chamomile, and heather, the she-cat let out a sigh. Owlfeather could not wait for this to be over. Quickly licking up the medicine, Owlfeather was glad for the heater flower, it definitely made the whole thing better. "Well, I think it was more that everyone had too much respect for their deputy, to say anything", Owlfeather said, letting out a small chuckle. As the medicine cat turned, Owlfeather piped up again, "Will you be changing your name back?", the deputy asked, "Since it seems you'll be staying for a while", the seh-cat added.
Getting to her paws, Owlfeather turned to the loner, a thought came to her. "Frost, do you think she's good enough to get out of here and give us a paw patching the camp up?", the deputy asked, she wanted to see if this loner was really serious about joining the clan. "That reminds me, I never introduced myself. I am Owlfeather Duskclan's deputy and..", pointing to her swollen stomach added, "well now also queen." Looking up, she then asked, "What is your name?"

a

Flamepaw|Dawnclan|Apprentice|13 Moons Old|Ginger She-Cat|Location: Camp|Mention(s) Directly: Foxpaw|Mention(s) Indirectly: Willowkit, Lightsong, Turtesplash, Umbraclaw

Flamepaw's ear twitched, as she heard paw steps coming up to her. Expecting a scuff on the ear, for her statement, the she-cat looked over. Her eyes lit up, as she saw her littermate pause next to her. Leaning down, Flamepaw swallowed down the rest of her meager prey. Sitting up, the ginger tabby she-cat started to clean herself.
Reaching over, she gave Foxpaw a slight nip on the ear to get her sisters attention. "How have things been, between you and Umbraclaw?", Flamepaw asked directly, nodding to her sisters mentor.
Waiting for her sister to answer, the ginger tabbies blue eyes wander around camp. More and more cats seemed to wake up, "Maybe we'll actually be able to get out of camp today", Flamepaw said in an undertone. She understood the reason why they, as apprentices, needed to have two warriors with them. Still, that did not mean that she did not hate the rule. Shifting her paws, Flamepaw looked over to Turtlesplash again. Lightsong was with her now, the young she-cat let out a sigh. What was her brother doing? She wondered, shaking her head. As he gaze continued to sweep over the camp, they landed on a small form. Willowkit was peaking of the nursery, he should almost be apprentice aged by now, Flamepaw thought.
A small chuckle escaped the ginger she-cat, nudging her shoulder to Foxpaw's, she said, "To think, we were once that young and now we're only a few moons away from being warriors."Flamepaw hesitated, "Well, you'd be the warrior and me a messenger."

⇺ [ Hornetpaw ] ⇻
18 Moons • Male • DawnClan • Medicine Cat Apprentice
Location: DawnClan Camp • Mentions: Lightsong, Ravenblaze {Directly} Shadewing, Cloudburst, Larkclaw {Indirectly}

Hornetpaw gazed after Shadewing fondly as his cousin left the medicine den behind, knowing he wouldn’t be hard to track down once he was ready to leave. Privately, he wasn’t sure he understood why some warriors felt tending to the queens or elders was a punishment. It should be considered an honor to serve these cats, but he supposed his position made him predisposed to finding joy in caring for others.

His attention swiftly turned to Lightsong, the stream of questions aimed in his direction momentarily catching him off guard. It appeared Lightsong had more on his mind then anticipated. Hornetpaw had expected this conversation to solely center on Lightsong’s sisters, and yet a majority of the concerns expressed appeared to involve himself and Ravenblaze. Suppressing his surprise and perhaps a pinch of dismay, he set to answering the other tom in as steady and calm a voice he voice he could manage.

“It’s true,” he confirmed, uncertain whether or not he should be sharing these details with a warrior. “I-” He paused as Lightsong went on to offer heartfelt congratulations, wishing him well and even offering to accompany him to the Starpool when the time came. “Thank you Lightsong, your support means more to me than you could ever imagine,” he replied. It was true he would be graduating a bit early, having only trained under Ravenblaze for a total of five moons, and Hornetpaw feared the Clan wouldn’t accept or respect him as a full medicine cat once he received his full name.

Even just one cat stating they believed in him meant a great deal. The next set of questions, however, preceded once again to startle him, though to give him some credit he recovered quickly. “I can assure you my faith in StarClan is resolute. I have yet to speak directly with one of our ancestors, but I have already received an omen.” Granted...he had been with Ravenblaze upon receiving that sign, and Lightsong’s words now had the seeds of doubt firmly planted in his mind. What if StarClan didn’t accept him, let alone the rest of the Clan?

“Not every bad thing that happens in our lives is an omen,” Hornetpaw replied, though his expression had grown troubled. “Losing Cloudburst’s kits was a terrible tragedy, but I don’t believe it was a punishment, nor was the arrival of the servals or the more persistent Twoleg presence as of late. DawnClan has survived far worse than this,” Hornetpaw reminded him gently. “Your sisters are strong. I encourage you to continue being present in their lives but remember they’re nearly warriors and capable of making their own decisions. You can be there for them, but you must let them grow up. Every cat has their own way of adhering to the warrior code, so long as they are not disregarding Clan laws, it is fine if their way is a different way from you,” he added, Lightsong’s frets that some cats may not be living the right way causing him an inexplicable amount of unease.

Luckily Ravenblaze saw fit to join the conversation as Lightsong brought him up again, answering in his stead, and Hornetpaw felt automatically soothed. He couldn’t help the surge of happiness when Ravenblaze praised him. If his former mentor found him capable perhaps there really wasn’t all that much to worry about. “Larkclaw is healing well, I suspect she’ll be back to her warrior duties within a few days. Shadewing and I will be heading out to collect herbs soon. Perhaps the two of you would like to accompany us? We would need another warrior guard anyway and I think it would be good for you to get some fresh air outside the camp,” he commented to Ravenblaze.

⇺ [ Turtlesplash ] ⇻
24 Moons • Female • Former Kittypet
Location: DawnClan Camp • Mentions: Ashcreek, Foxpaw {Directly} / Flamepaw, Gingerstar, Umbraclaw {Indirectly}

Turtlesplash stared back at Foxpaw with an expression bordering on amusement when the approach of her father brought an end to whatever the apprentice was about to ask, the other she-cat quickly making herself scrace. Turtlesplash found herself almost wishing she had stayed, regardless of whatever her intentions had been. “Ashcreek…” she greeted just as quietly, searching his face for any sign of malice with suspicious eyes.

They hadn’t spoken since she arrived and truthfully she hadn’t expected him to confront her directly so soon. Catching a glimpse of Umbraclaw heading toward Gingerstar’s den, she was momentarily distracted. Though she was too far to hear her name uttered between leader and deputy, she couldn’t help wondering if they were discussing her fate. Chasing her troubled thoughts from her mind in favor of returning her attention to Ashcreek, she glanced back at the tom, wondering if there was an actual reason behind his visit.

⇺ [ Spiderpaw ] ⇻
10 Moons • Male • DuskClan • Apprentice
Location: DuskClan Camp • Mentions: Owlfeather, Frost, Patch {Directly} / Blackstar, Vulturepaw, Dustpelt, Hunting Patrol {Indirectly}

While Spiderpaw didn’t protest Blackstar’s orders to remain it camp verbally, his raised tail dropping until the tip stirred up a puff of dust as it hit the ground gave away his displeasure all too clearly. He stared after the departing hunting patrol with envious eyes but comforted himself with the knowledge the rest of the day would prove more exciting. Mentions of an evening hunt caused his ears to perk and the enthusiasm with which he greeted Blackstar every morning made a speedy recovery. “Alright, you can count on me! Those dens will be repaired in no time.”

Watching as Blackstar padded off to speak with Vulturepaw, Spiderpaw began making his way over to where he could see Dustpelt standing, only to grow distracted as he spotted Owlfeather plodding into the medicine den. Naturally, curiosity overtook him and he followed the colorpoint she-cat, peering through the entrance. Frost and Patch were inside as expected and his eyes were bright with interest. Both she-cats were strange and new, Frost apparently once calling the Clan home and returning after leaving for a long time while Patch was completely foreign. He found both of them utterly fascinating.

Patch’s reaction to Owlfeather had his head tilting, wondering what she was thinking. Vague memories flashed through his mind, remembering living in the...what was it called…? A park? With his mother and siblings before he came to live in DuskClan. Stormcloud had always told him other cats, even she-cats, weren't safe. Was Patch afraid Owlfeather would hurt her? Once Owlfeather asked if Patch could assist the cats assigned to the den repair squad, however, he was unable to contain himself and rather then continue to eavesdrop, he burst into the medicine cat den fizzing with excitement.

“If Patch is allowed to help I can watch her! She’ll need someone to show her how to do things,” he volunteered eagerly. “Can she come Frost? I promise I’ll keep an eye on her, and it’ll be good for her to get out of the den! Please, please, pleeease?”

Ashcreek | Warrior of DawnClan | Tall Grey and Orange Tom with 2 extra toes | Location: DawnClan Camp | Mentions: Turtlesplash, Foxpaw| Indirect:

Ashcreek blinked slowly. His ears pricked as he heard the name of his daughter uttered between his leader and deputy. He watched her turn her attention to them for a few heartbeats before turning back to him. He opened his jaw to say something but no words came out. His brain scrambled for what to say as he tried to keep the disgust from flooding into his eyes.

"Why are you back?" he asked after a moment."What is the reason for your return? You are a mouse-brained traitor!," his voice slowly rose with every word, "You shouldn't have returned! You don't belong here you disgrace to the clan. Your mother was so embarrassed and hurt after you left!" he spat the words in her direction. His voice caught as he tried to continue. His fur was no longer flat and smooth, his claws were drawn, and ears pulled back, face twisted into a snarl of hatred.

⇺ [ Turtlesplash ] ⇻
24 Moons • Female • Former Kittypet
Location: DawnClan Camp • Mentions: Ashcreek, Swiftclaw

As expected, Ashcreek lost his cool within seconds of speaking to her. “You’re nothing if not predictable,” she commented dryly, her gaze hard and critical. “As if you’ve ever cared how Swiftclaw felt. Don’t pretend her torment doesn’t bring you pleasure. I know you Ashcreek, and I can see you haven’t changed much in the moons since I left,” she spat back, fur bristling. Despite the obvious display of hatred she returned, her voice was completely calm and her claws remained sheathed.

“Why I’m here doesn’t concern you and whether or not I belong isn’t your choice either, so if you’re done causing a scene, I’m sure there are more valuable uses for your time than this," she concluded, dismissing him. Whether or not Gingerstar agreed with him, she hoped the other she-cat would agree starting a fight in the middle of camp was foolish and would call him off if he persisted. If he attacked she would defend herself, but Turtlesplash hoped it wouldn't come to that as she doubted she would still be welcome among the Clan if she harmed one of their warriors, in self-defense or not.

| Wolfstorm | 38 Moons | Female | Duskclan Warrior |
Location: Duskclan camp- Apprentice den
Mentions: Springpaw, Vulturepaw, Sootwhisker

"Not at all, you're barely more than an apprentice yourself!" Wolfstorm teased the young tom, playfully batting at his ear. She snickered at Springpaw's enthusiasm, but did tap her apprentice's back with her tail. "Now now, remember that you're meant to be learning from him. Take the time to watch and learn the lesson he has to teach you." She nodded to Sootwhisker. "Good hunting to you both, I'll see you two back here soon."

The pairs split, heading their separate ways. She looked over at Vulturepaw, concern in her gaze. "I'm glad you're finally out of camp. I know you're hurt about Redeye being missing, but he's a strong, capable warrior. If anyone could make it out of that, it's him. You need to keep yourself in practice, otherwise when he gets back, you'll have forgotten all of your training."

Ashcreek | Warrior of DawnClan | Tall Grey and Orange Tom with 2 extra toes | Location: DawnClan Camp | Mentions: Turtlesplash| Indirect:

Ashcreek closed his eyes for a moment and drew in a breath. He let himself calm down, his claws slid back and his fur settled. "You know full well I take no joy in seeing your mother hurt. It was never my intentions to hurt her as bad as I did. Leaving her pregnant with my kits was one of the worst decisions I have ever made in my life. I regret that everyday of my life. But this is not about her. This is about my daughter who left the clan and has now returned." he said.

He opened his eyes. "I am not here to hurt you or attack you. I am here to talk and my outburst was unnecessary." he said. "You are just gonna be shunned by every cat in this clan. And-" he stopped as he realized something. He was scared for her. He looked shocked by this fact.

Sootwhisker | Duskclan Warrior | 13 moons | Small, gray tabby tom | Location: Duskclan Territory| Mentions: (Direct) Wolfstorm, Vulturepaw , Springpaw (Indirect) ---

Sootwhisker burst out with a short laugh. He hadn't expected such a retort from Springpaw! She usually seemed so quiet and nervous, but she didn't even hesitate to snap back at him after his little joke. However, just as suddenly as her confidence had appeared, it seemed to vanish as the apprentice's attention was drawn to something on the ground. "To you, too," he said to Wolfstorm, nodding in return. Looking to Vulturepaw, he added, "Good luck. Should be interesting, I think." With that, Sootwhisker flicked his tail at Springpaw to make sure he had the apprentice's attention before heading away from the other two at a quick pace, expecting Springpaw to follow.

Now separated from Wolfstorm and Vulturepaw, Sootwhisker slowed to a walk. While keeping his eyes and ears out for nearby prey, he decided to give the young cat a run-down of how he preferred to hunt. "Alright. I'm new at this whole teaching thing, so bear with me. When a cat isn't as big and powerful as your mentor, they will have to rely on speed. But it isn't just how quick your paws move," he said, taking a moment to sniff the air. "I learned the hard way that, even if you're fast, you still gotta take a lot of steps to cover the same distance as your bigger clanmates. Unless you can manage to stay focused on keeping light on your feet- or if you happen to just be incredibly fast or really close to your prey, I suppose-, whatever you're hunting is bound to hear you coming." Sootwhisker pointedly glanced randomly at the sky, a little embarrassed. "I, erm, don't have that kind of focus. That's why I try to just make my strides as long as possible, which is way easier." The tom came to a halt and looked over at Springpaw. "Does that, uh, make sense?" He wasn't sure if he was explaining this well at all, but he knew that if he wasn't making much sense, Springpaw would see what he meant once they found some prey.

☬ |Springpaw| Duskclan Apprentice| 8 Moons| Female| T-Wolfstorm, Vulterpaw, Sootwhisker, Open| Mentor: Wolfstorm | Location: Camp|Color Code=#0dbab1|☬

Springpaw focused back onto Sootwhisker her eyes sparkling as they started to head out. She bounced on her paws and then suddenly stop and he tried explaining to her. She closed her eyes and took in the words he had spoke and tried to understand the best she could, however she knew she would be using unh her own method. She was a smaller cat for her age yet she was very lean she had longer legs, a shorter body and was light on her paws allowing her to be swift. She resembled a feather you could say soft and light able to move quickly if needed. ”Yes of course however I know you are new I just wanted to give you a heads up I like approaching from the right side of the ground sort of closer to trees since that’s where mice and trushes build there homes I believe. I am a very excellent runner when it comes to clearings and such. I know there might not be any rabbits out, however if we are to find one I have a plan. Of course I am just a apprentice so what do I know.” she meowed to him and brushed her tail along the grass. She could feel the sun starting to rise and it seemed a little hot out. She shook her head and sat down opening her jaws to see if she could catch a sent, nothing. Hmmm she knew there was a method that some cats used for fighting, but could it work with prey. If they where to cover themselves in mud there smell could go away and the prey couldn’t possibly catch a sent of them allowing them to kill it swiftly.

Sootwhisker | Duskclan Warrior | 13 moons | Small, gray tabby tom | Location: Duskclan Territory| Mentions: (Direct) Springpaw (Indirect) Wolfstorm, Vulturepaw

The young warrior twitched his whiskers as he listened to Springpaw. Again, her response was unexpected. Was she usually this dismissive? Sootwhisker, not scenting anything fresh, walked on a bit further with quiet paw steps until he caught sight of a thrush scratching at the ground some distance away. He immediately lowered himself to the ground and slunk just a little closer, the fur on his belly lightly brushing the ground. Readying himself, Sootwhisker shot forward, stretching his legs to take about two great leaps before catching the bird just as it was spreading it's wings to flee. With a quick, decisive nip to the neck, the bird went limp.

Sootwhisker carried the prey back to Springpaw and set it on the ground. "I think that was a fairly educational demonstration for you, but I'm just a new warrior so what do I know," he said, mimicking what the apprentice had said earlier, being careful to keep his tone light. He felt like this outing would be a lot less fun if he accidentally ended up offending Springpaw. "Don't worry, that's all the demonstrating I was up for. Let's just try to get more prey than Wolfstorm and Vulturepaw," he added playfully as he buried his bird for later.

⌘{ Patch }⌘
:: Female :: Rogue :: 35 Moons :: M- Frost, Owlfeather, Spiderpaw ::
:: Location: Duskclan Camp ::

"Patch."

Despite her reservation, the calico's ears had perked forward as this...deputy...proposed to put her to work. The female was certainly not opposed to such a task, eager to show her dedication to earning a place within the clan. She was unsure if speaking for herself and eagerly accepting would hurt her standing with the other cat rather than if she waited for Frost to speak on her behalf. So, though it tickled her pride, Patch would stand in silence her golden gaze turning to wait for Frost's answer to Owlfeather's question.

She wouldn't have to wait long for there to be a reply to Owlfeather's inquiry.....but not from Frost. An oddly colored, curly pelted young male burst into the room, startling the rouge and causing her to jump almost straight back her fur standing on end making her look quite a bit larger then she had before. Pupils would contract into slits before the female realized that this stranger's behavior was not aggressive...but rather quite the opposite his enthusiasm to 'watch over' her bubbling over into a tangle of entreating words.

A sigh of relief burst between Patch's teeth, her fur still on end but her claws releasing their desperate hold of the ground as she tried to compose and calm herself. She really shouldn't have allowed the conversation to take up so much of her attention...especially under the current circumstances.

She'd have to be more aware in the future lest she garner the wrong reaction from this clan.

Umbraclaw|Deputy of Dawnclan|Black Mollie|Location: Camp|Mentions: Gingerstar (Ind) Turtlesplash

Umbraclaw was pleased to see to hear that Gingerstar would hear her out and would promptly take advantage of the space the leader had created. Lying down there next to Gingerstar, she would first briefly rub her head against her cheek in a show of affection towards the elder mollie before getting down to business. "First off, I please request that you let me finish before giving your opinion and lastly know that under normal circumstances I wouldn't suggest this at all. As you already know, we have had some significant losses and our efforts to protect ourselves have us significantly more worn out then expected during the easier days of Greenleaf. As a result, we could honestly use another set of paws so with that in mind, I think we should allow Turtlesplash to rejoin us with a few conditions. The way the deputy said that last word with a bit of mirth and promised mischief made it clear that she had cooked up quite the idea for the disgraced cat.

"Let Turtlesplash join us again, but as Turtlepaw, as she doesn't deserve either a warrior's name or rank after abandoning us. So she shall be an apprentice again, but one without a mentor and doing the work of a warrior. She would also have to take orders from every warrior we have as befitting her rank as an apprentice. Perhaps even have her perform the "much loved" apprentice work of removing ticks from the elders and changing out bedding. I am sure our apprentices would be happy to have a bit of a break from such tasks. Then only when and if you believe she has proven her loyalty and worth to Dawnclan will she be granted the rank of warrior once again. That way we get the benefit of her work, but she is still heavily punished. So what do you think of my idea Gingerstar? Is it something you might want to go with?"

Owlfeather|Duskclan|Deputy|36 Moons Old|Siamese She-Cat|Location: Medicine cat den|Mention(s) Directly: Spiderpaw, Patch|Mention(s) Indirectly: Blackstar, Frost, Sootwhisker

Owlfeather looked back, as she suddenly heard someone bound into the medicine cat den. "Will you now?", the deputy asked, with a chuckle. It would be good to have someone watch the loner, she did not really want to waist the warriors time, looking after Patch, so this might be a good idea. Only then, did the deputy look to Patch. The loner seemed quite ruffled, at Spiderpaw's sudden appearance. "You'll get used to it", Owlfeather told the she-cat, meaning Spiderpaw's enthusiasm and eagerness.
As her blue eyes turned to the apprentice next to her, she was reminded of Sootwhisker, when he was still a young and eager apprentice. A chuckle came to the deputy, Sootpaw had been so cute, just like Spiderpaw now. Placing her paw gently on the apprentices head, the deputy tapped it. "Now, now there's no need to scare Patch", Owlfeather said, the deputy would probably not act this way with another apprentice, but this young tom was Blackstar's son. Even though right now their interactions where still a bit strained, Owlfeather still considered herself and Blackstar to be good friends.
Replacing her paws on the grown, the deputy's eyes turned back to Frost. Would the medicine cat accept? It would definitely give her some time to check on Nightfall and any other cats.

Vulturepaw || 10moons || Male || Duskclan apprentice {Mentor - Redeye (missing)} || short dark brown/black tom with yellow eyes || deformed throat/trachea || Location {Duskclan Camp} || Mentions {directly- Wolfstorm} {indirectly-Redeye}

Vulturepaw had to almost jog to keep up with the larger cat as they walked but he managed. He looked up at wolfstorm as she spoke, "Yeah, I guess I do need to stay in shape..." he rasped, just before fumbling over a raised root. He turned his head to look back out at the terrain so he wouldn't trip. "It is nice to be out of the apprentice den. It gets my minds off things , I think..." he added, stepping over a beetle in his path. He walked a bit in scilence before speaking again. "So what am I supposed to be looking for exactly? I know we are hunting, but what should I be paying more attention to?" he croaked, trying to move the conversatrion from his mentor.

☬ |Springpaw| Duskclan Apprentice| 8 Moons| Female| T-[D] Sootwhisker [ID] Open| Mentor: Wolfstorm | Location: Outside of Duskclan Camp|Color Code=#0dbab1|☬

She had simply nodded to the warrior as she had caught the sent of the truth. She knew he’d gone for it as she saw his movement out of the corner of her eye. He was fast, she left her jaw hanging open in shock. She quickly shook herself as she listen to the warriors words ”A game of Well then this seems interesting, however now it’s my turn” she meowed to him and walked forward to wear a water bed lay. She could catch the smell of a vole with a scent of fish, wich would she go for? She decided to go for the vole knowing that her clan mates would love the meaty flesh more quickly she lowered her stance as she went down wind for the vole. Carefully she spotted the little created poking its head up once it was out she would run. She carefully eyed the creature scooting closer and closer until it was time. The vole has unoticed her and was fully emerged out from its home and she ran, with swiftness in her side she pounded on the vole being careful not to squash it. Wish a bit to its spine it went limp in her jaws. She smiled to Sootwhisker who seemed to be watching her with close intention. She knew she had messed some stuff up when her tail was dragging a little bit to low, but how was a cat like her supposed to fix that?
