Dawnclan Territory:
Dawnclan's territory is lightly forested, with wider, slow rivers connecting to the two small central lakes. The terrain is moss covered and gently hilly. A sandy area on the edge of a shallow river is their training area, and to the south is the two-leg gathering place where small nests nestle between thin cut trees on the edge of a small lake, which merges into the two-leg town the more south one goes.
The camp is nestled in a dip in the land, with a series of rocks that make shelters for the Leader and Medicine cat dens, as well as the nursery. The rest of the nests are in old burrows, the edge of the camp sheltered with prickly brambles. It is spacious and open, with plenty of places to relax on moss covered stones or tussle in soft grass.
the territory is marked to the east and north by a large, uncrossable river. To the south by the two-leg camp ground, and to the east by their boundary with Duskclan, which is marked most notably by a large spread of rocks along a thin river that eventually turns into Duskclan terrain. It is a spot of much conflict.

Duskclan Territory:
Duskclan's territory lies to the east side of the territories, in thicker forest where mist lingers longer in the mornings, and navigation requires agility and precision. The rivers here are often thinner, but more wild with faster waters in many of the places. Their training area is a clear patch of forest where the ground is soft and a fallen log and tree stumps provide a boundary.
Their camp is nestled up, and along the side of a hill that inclines sharply, with pathways between and going up its walls. The dens nestle close together, with the Leaders den above inside a fallen tree root system, the medicine cat below in the same system. The dens are in a mixture of burrows and makeshift nests in the brush, some nests in the jagged hill walls. Outside the nests they have a spacious area for sharing tongues and meetings, protected by thick foliage and the numerous rocks.
Their territory is marked by a sheer cliff drop to the east, an uncross able river to the north, the two-legs to the south, and their border with Dawnclan.
2000px-Decorative_text_divider.svg.png

 CURRENT EVENTS
Two-legs are in the territory!
Currently due to the nice weather, two-legs have been more prevalent than normal, walking along the paths that trace between both clans.
Though they often leave cats alone, the threat of dogs and scared prey is high.

NEWS

Sootwhisker | Duskclan Warrior | 13 moons | Small, gray tabby tom | Location: Duskclan Territory| Mentions: (Direct) Storm(Indirect) Blackstar

Sootwhisker's claws dug into the ground anxiously as the serval rose her voice. Gone was the image of Shadow in that trap, desperate yet surprisingly civil, asking the clan cats to help his sister and her kits. Things were getting too dangerous and much too close to home to be thinking about a promise to a stranger. Tail lashing, the young warrior let out a low growl. This was not a great start to getting Storm out of the territory. He glared unblinking at the serval as Blackstar explained the terms, watching for sudden movements from the large cat before them. If she was going to try attacking the group, she'll be in for a nasty surprise. The clan cats might be smaller, but she'd discover that Duskclan isn't the type to go down without a fight.

Although Sootwhisker was telling himself that there was no doubt that they could send the serval packing, he could feel his heart pounding in his chest. He let his tail lay still and his muscles began to tense, the tom's stare still pinned on Storm as he waited for the serval's reaction. Just leave, he pleaded silently, beginning to feel more wary than angry.

☬ |Springpaw| Duskclan Apprentice| 8 Moons| Female| T-[D] Sootwhisker, wolfstorm, Redeye, Vulterpaw etc.. [ID] Open| Mentor: Wolfstorm | Location: Outside Duskclan Camp |Color Code=#0dbab1|☬

Springpaw looked at the cat names Storm her fur started to rise when she did not listen to the leader. The she cat did not want to have to fight either, but she was just standing there, she then burned the cat say kits. KITS! Her kits? Spring paw looked down in confusion as she dug her claws into the soul. What does she mean by shadow and her kits? Did somthing happen that the clan was hiding from them. She wanted to desperately speak, but knew if she did she’d pay for it back at camp so she kept quite. Blackstars voice had risen above her thoughts as he told vulturepaw and some others to go back to camp, but not her? She suddenly felt her breath rise and her body started to shake. What if they where to fight, she can’t fight. She looked at wolfstorm pleeding to go back to camp as well, but she knew she might not. If anything where to happen she needed to be hear and atleast try. Sheaking herself she looked up.
She stepped forward where she was close to the servals face “Storm cat, please let us take redeye back to camp he will be safe with us. We mean no harm and our leader here wants you to go back so no trouble is caused. We will help with your kits shortly, but right now we need to fix red eye. “

She meowed as her fluffy tail twitched she still cloud feel herself shaking, but she needed to be brave so no fight would happen. She could feel storms breath, the she cat was tall for sure, springpaw was like a mouse compared to her.

NO.... Wolfstorm's thoughts raced. What was her leader thinking?! If this cat attacked, someone else would be in just as bad of shape as Redeye was! She needed to think quickly. She stepped between her leader and the serval. "Storm. Storm look here." She somehow managed to catch the attention of the Serval, sending a look towards Blackstar before continuing. She did not want to endanger anyone, especially since her leader had ordered every inexperienced cat and apprentice away except for her own. That... that was... a completely foxhearted thing to do, and she'd certainly have something to say about it later. For now though, she needed to diffuse tension.

"I go with you. To river rock. Place for Storm there. To sleep, to eat. I help you. I come every day, I tell you about Redeye every day." She had a pleading look in her eye. "Please. Wolf no want fight. Wolf help Storm. Wolf help Storm find Shadow. Wolf help Storm find kits. Can't now, can soon. We help Redeye first, then help Storm." Please... For starclan's sake please work.

Location: Camp
Mentions: Willowpaw

Shadewhisker came to a stop, looking over at his apprentice with a cheerful gleam in his eyes. He knew the young tom would catch his breath soon enough, having done the same sprint when he'd been a new apprentice. "Welcome to the border, Willowpaw." He flicked his tail forwards. "Go get a good sniff once you've caught your breath. I didn't want to force you to smell Duskclan stink while you were still gasping." He waited, watching as the cat approached and scented the air along the border, grinning at him. "And, as your first action as a Dawnclan apprentice, you get the honor of remarking it with our scent." He padded over to one of the trees nearby, demonstrating to the other tom how to do it, then gestured for him to go ahead on the rock he'd been scenting moments before.

Umbraclaw|Deputy of Dawnclan|Black Mollie|Location: Camp|Mentions: Foxpaw and Turtlepaw(splash)

Umbraclaw had made it halfway back to camp, but was growing increasingly concerned about the two legs threat. It was possible that there were out to set up even more traps and one trap had already killed a duskclan cat. As a result. she would ultimately decide to head back for Turtlepaw and Foxpaw. Upon finding them, she quickly said. "I don't like this and I decided that we will go out ourselves. It's very possible the the two legs are here to put out more traps and one cat already died to them. Luckily it was one of the Duskclan's and not one of ours. So it's important to find Gingerstar and Hornetpaw and warn them so they will be on the lookout for any new traps."

With that, the deputy would set off to find Dawnclan's leader and medicine cat apprentice. She would head for where she had seen them earlier and sniff at the area trying to track their scent so she could follow after them.

Storm that Hides the Stars | Serval NPC | ??? | Mollie | DuskClan Territory | Redeye ; Wolfstorm ; Blackstar ; Frost

Storm jerked her head to the side when Redeye spoke, but did not budge from her position. Her ears dropped flat to her head, but she went silent, her piercing eyes watching Redeye's wobbling frame as he challenged the leader, and was promptly dragged off by that white 'medicine cat'. At the leader's growl, however, her attention whipped back to him, and her body tensed again, fur rising from where it had sunk back down. The second that the little fluffy mollie approached her, getting in her face, things began to drive downhill real fast. Storm reared backwards, her jaws snapping at the air and she raised a paw threateningly, balanced now on two paws, the third, withered limb barely skimming the ground as she leaned back to give her more freedom with her front legs. At this point, Wolfstorm thrust herself between Storm and the others, yowling, catching her attention. Storm dropped back onto her center of gravity, her teeth bared and a growl still swirling in her throat, eyes locked with Wolfstorm's. The mollie's words were taut with stress, and Storm's stubby tail lashed.

"Small cats lie."

Storm's voice was filled with cold conviction, her eyes pained. They flicked for just a moment to her hind leg, healed but forever crippled, before locking back on Wolfstorm.

"Wolf. Does Wolf lie? Red Eyes hurt, Red Eyes sick, does Red Eyes lie?" her gaze twisted towards the small cat who had gotten up in her face before and she growled, deep in her chest. "Small cats lie, does white kit lie?"

There were several moments of tense silence, and she turned her side to them, unwilling to take her eyes off of the rest of the cats. "Wolf, lead. 'River Rocks', lead Storm." Her voice was sullen, tired, but still tense. She did not trust those around her, particularly not the one eyed tom who had started the trouble, or the tiny white cat who had gotten in her face. Their words... she did not trust they would keep to them, but she needed to find Shadow, she needed to find her kits, and she had no plan or capacity to do it herself.

Weaselflight | DuskClan Warrior | 21 Moons | Tom | Bramble Dip | Dustpelt ; Harepaw

Weaselflight eyed his friend at Dustpelt's words. "W-w-we could not take them," he stammered pointedly, his ears still lying flat upon his head and his eyes worried. He gave a wobbly nod to Dustpelt's later suggestion, however, and was about to lead the way back to the camp when a thought occurred to him. "A-aren't we a bit close to camp for t-twolegs and a d-d-dog?" It seemed abnormal for them to be here, he for one had never seen one around here and it was not far from the camp to this spot.

His fur fluffed up at the thought of twolegs raiding the camp. They would probably go for the kittens first, and there was that new one a queen had found. Owlfeather, being pregnant, would be another target. Thinking about them taking the apprentices, like Harepaw or, stars forbid, Vulturepaw, he did not know if he would be able to handle that. "H-h-how close are we to camp right now?" he stammered again, looking over to Dustpelt anxiously. If they were too close, then they needed to try to lure the Twolegs away from camp... not towards it.
Better safe than sorry

---

Gingerstar | DawnClan Leader | 36 Moons | Mollie | Camp | Hornetpaw ; Lightsong ; Flamepaw

Gingerstar's tail swished mildly, and she nodded at Flamepaw. "If Hornetpaw believes it worth the trip, we may as well check it out. The islands are much less disturbed by prey and predator- there may well be more, healthier, plants there. Perhaps not just comfrey, either," she mused. She lowered her body and arched her back in a downward dog type stretch, extending her toes and her claws, before reverting to her normal stance, looking towards the direction of the island. She began to walk forwards, her plumy tail rising up behind her.

"If we don't start moving now," she called back, "We never will. Best to be in and out of the water long before the sun sets, no need to be soggy for the rest of the day." As the leader finished speaking, she began moving more quickly, knowing that the sun was high in the sky as it was, if it weren't quite sunhigh it would be soon. Her pace was not overly quick, Hornetpaw could easily catch up and take the lead and she would make no protest. She knew the location of the island, but not much else about it and its contents. If it protected herbs, she did not know the way to identify them or where they lay, but Hornetpaw did, and his direction would probably be more beneficial than her own. She just meant to stimulate the patrol into moving, their deadstop had begun to irritate her. They needed to up and move.

When Flamepaw asked her question, however, Gingerstar paused in her motions for a moment. She thought for several long seconds, and then nodded in Lightsong's direction. "Only if he escorts you. He trained under Mousefur, he's plenty fast enough to keep up. You need to stay close though there's no point in needlessly risking necks."
If you ask too many questions, or seek too much approval, nothing ever gets done

---

Willowpaw | DawnClan Apprentice | 6 Moons | Tom | Territory | Shadewing

Willowpaw nodded at Shadewing silently, and lifted his head after a few moments, approaching the border with false confidence. He was not afraid, per say, but he was healthily cautious. He dropped his head towards the nearest scent mark, and inhaled the scent, his face twisting with distaste. The scent was distinctly different than DawnClan's, and though it was not inherently terrible, knowing it belonged to a rival made it stink a whole lot worse. When he glanced back at his mentor, the tom was grinning, and he flicked an ear, waiting for further instructions.

He watched the demonstration closely, before eagerly jogging along the border a good few steps to find a stump to mark, the smell of DuskClan strong. He glanced at Shadewing, and called, "is this a good spot?" After receiving his confirmation, the young tom marked the area thoroughly, covering the other clan's stench with his own. It created a strange, mixed smell, but DawnClan's more established, single smell won over. He looked over to Shadewing again, a tiny smirk edging onto his face.

"What now?"
Words are a more powerful weapon than any material force could hope to combat

Blackstar|Leader of Duskclan|One eyed Black Tom|Location: territory|Mentions: Sootwhisker, Wolfstorm, Storm, Springpaw, Vulturepaw, Frost, Redeye

Blackstar bristled and for a moment as Springpaw darted forward, almost forgetting about the small appretnice. He grimaced, about to send the young cat back with the others. The serval however, did not take to the sudden apperance lightly, and as Blackstar tensed, it looked as if the leader were going to strike. Wolfstorms quick interjection caused him to hold back his claws however, and as Storm seemed to resign herself to at least, leaving the immediate area, he let himself take a step back, his attention now focused on Wolfstorm. There was an anger in his gaze that was rare to see, and when he spoke, his voice was dangerously calm.
"On your own neck be it, Wolfstorm." He growled to the she-cat. The softness on which he usually gazed upon the warrior now hardened. It was clear that there would be a conversation there, later on.
"Stay at the River Rocks. Sootwhisker, you go to." It was clear that despite the fact Blackstar was furious about his warriors current lack of respect, he still did not want to take any chances.
"Wait there. I am going to do a sweep of the border. It won't do any good if Dawnclan finds her on our territory, especially with Duskclan warriors." He turned his single gaze to the remaining cats.
"Frost, let Owlfeather know she's in charge. The rest of you, to camp. NOW. " His jaws snapped to emphasize the last words, and with that, he waited for the two seperate ways before he sprang into the woods, towards the south end of the border.

Dustpelt|Warrior of Duskclan|Leggy Calico Tom|Location: Duskclan Territory|Mentions: Weaelflight, Harepaw
Dustpelt paused at those words, the tip of his long tail twitching ever so slightly. It was true, this was rather close to camp for the scent to be.
"Maybe..." He twitched his ears towards the faint path in the foliage that led back to the camp.
"Several Fox lengths, I'd guess." He mewed, glancing between Weaselflight and Harepaw.
"You think it's worth taking a round about way, to make sure they're not close?" He mewed, a bit of Weaselflights tension carrying into his own body, even if he tried to brush it off.
"Otherwise, we could let Owlfeather, or a patrol know?" He seemed uncertain on the proper measure to take. Though they often dealt with two-legs, this was slightly different and he didn't want to make the wrong call. If it had only been two-legs he wouldn't have been as troubled but if a dog was this close, it could easily find its way to their camp, and if a two-leg got in- he couldn't imagine how the clan would react.

Frost |Old Med-cat,Duskclan|white and gray she-cat|Location: Duskclan Camp|Mentions: Redeye, Vulturepaw, Springpaw
Thankfully out of the servals range due to Springpaws unitentional distraction, Frost paused on the fringe of the encounter, still supporting Redeye. She listened to the exchange, and her eyes narrowed at the end result. It was clear Blackstar wasn't thrilled with how things had gone down, and while she couldn't blame him, there was a tinge of amusement in her chest. The tom never learned.
Glancing at Vulturepaw and making sure to call to Springpaw, Frost began to move.
"Come on now, Redeye. Your friend will be fine so lets get you back to somewhere safe." she purred rather softly, her tail helping guide as well as support a bit as they walked. Thankfully, they were not too far from the camp, though the trek took some time as Frost avoided the most difficult terrain bits, to make for softer travel.
"Springpaw, go and fetch some moss from outside camp and bring it to the medicine-cat den. Vulturepaw, go with her. Soak some moss in water and bring that as well." she spoke more briskly now, falling into her old role with ease, speaking with the expectation of being followed.

Wolfstorm's tail lashed as she watched her leader, an almost maternal fury in her icy gaze. "Better my neck than that of an apprentice barely past kithood." She retorted sharply, saying nothing more, though it was clear she wanted to. Blackstar certainly wouldn't have to seek her out later for their exchange. She turned away, refocusing on the Serval. "Wolf no lie. Wolf help Storm." She glanced over at Springpaw. "Go back with Frost, do as she asks, and don't run off on your own. When I return I expect you to be at her den helping her." Stay in camp. Only listen to Frost. There was a message there if Blackstar cared to pick up the subtlety that she didn't want Springpaw listening to him in the slightest.

Once settled, she nodded at Sootwhisker and looked back at Storm. "I lead, come with." With that, she set off, keeping a pace that Storm could follow even with her injured leg. As they got farther away and out of earshot, she fell into step alongside the Serval. "Sorry for black cat. Most small cats scared. You scare small cats, even if no mean to. I different. My family dogs, not small cats. Raised by Motherdog. I work with big others, know how to talk to them. He do not, many small cats do not." She sighed. "I know you no trust small cats, but I help you. Promise. Help you find Shadow and kits. I bring news of Redeye to you. You stay, but please no hurt small cats. Small cats afraid of Storm, Small cats act mean when scared of Storm, but small cats no hurt you if you no hurt them." At least she could explain things to the serval if nothing else. She had a feeling that much of the tension between her and the clan cats was miscommunication and fear. Understanding helped assuage both of those things, if the other cats would just care to listen properly and not rush headfirst into battles they won't win.

"Now, I'm going to show you the Cavern. We aren't too far from it, and I only intend to show it from afar anyways." He flicked his tail to call Willowpaw over. "We'll walk from here, if we sprint much more we'll end up scaring off all the prey. Speaking of, perhaps I can teach you a bit about that along the path. Tell me if you smell anything different while we walk, ok? I'll explain what it is." It may seem lazy, but in truth he wanted to get an idea of how sensitive the young cat's nose was and if he could detect subtle changes in the scents around him. It trained the nose to always be on alert for changes that would make the difference between a full belly and hunger pains come leaf-bare.

⇺ [ Hornetpaw ] ⇻
18 Moons • Male • DawnClan • Medicine Cat Apprentice
Location: DawnClan Territory • Mentions: Gingerstar, Flamepaw, Lightsong, Scorchwing, Ravenblaze

Doubt slowed his pace as the patrol headed further from camp, Gingerstar leading the way toward the islands. ’Why did I do that? I’ll have to swim now...I should have just…’ His heart rate increased the closer they drew to the lake and his eyes darted between his Clanmates, certain they could hear the rapid beating. His paranoia was unfounded it would seem, every cat had something else on their minds.

Perhaps it wouldn’t be so bad. He was bigger now, and stronger, surrounded by Clanmates who would never allow him to drown. He might step on eggshells around Gingerstar, but he had never once doubted his leader would save him should he need her. With that in mind he found the will to push ahead, catching up to Gingerstar in a few quick strides and keeping pace with her.

A knowing glint sparked in his eyes as he overheard Flamepaw asking to run ahead. Not so long ago she’d confided in him over her restlessness. Her new position had certainly arrived at the right time. He was grateful Gingerstar advised they not wander too far. With everything happening lately he wasn’t keen on the apprentice or her brother running to far from the rest of them. Two cats would certainly be easier prey than six.

An odd scent caught his attention before long and he stopped dead in his tracks, the jarring movement resulting in him stumbling over his own paws and landing rather gracelessly on the ground, dust settling on his ruffled coat after the fall stirred it up. “Gingerstar, do you smell that?” He asked, alarm clear in his tone. Twolegs...dogs? This far into the forest? What an unsettling notion...

⇺ [ Turtlepaw ] ⇻
24 Moons • Female • DawnClan • Warrior Apprentice
Location: DawnClan Territory • Mentions:: Foxpaw, Umbraclaw

The sting of an unexpected blow caused Turtlepaw to whirl around, outrage lighting her gaze. She wasn’t fast enough this time around, Foxpaw quick and small enough to evade every hit she hastily aimed at the younger cat. Umbraclaw called off the fight before she could truly compose herself and offer a returning attack, and it took a moment for her bristling pelt to settle.

The compliment, however double-edged it might be, caught her by surprise. “I should hope so. I didn’t spend all day laying in front of fireplaces or invading Twoleg laps,” she snorted, a hint of humor seeping back into her voice, as if the previous offense on Foxpaw’s part was already forgotten. “Twolegs are terribly clever things. It’s better safe than sorry,” she murmured, moving to follow Foxpaw as she trailed after her mentor.

Her ears twitched as Foxpaw continued to complain, her curiosity growing overwhelming. “Do you mind filling me in? I heard everything Gingerstar said this morning, but that wasn’t exactly a detailed account. What has the Clan been dealing with these past few moons?”

36 Moons • Male • DuskClan • Warrior
Location: DuskClan Territory • Mentions: Blackstar, Storm, Frost, Wolfstorm, Vulturepaw, Springpaw

Redeye was less than thrilled when Frost tried to steer him away from the patrol and Storm, his claws unsheathing and digging into the ground until some cat was forced to grip his scruff between their teeth and begin tugging. He pulled back with what little strength he had left in his body, the other cat proving stronger than expected...or perhaps he had truly grown that weak. “I don’t want to go yet! I need to make sure Storm will be alright. I can’t let Blackstar hurt her!” He hissed through gritted teeth.

As Wolfstorm rushed forward Redeye’s ears strained to pick up what was being said. She seemed to have things under control, he reluctantly admitted, and his limbs were trembling so hard they threatened to give out. He couldn’t keep this up for much longer. “Red Eyes will find Strom! Red Eyes promises!” He called as Wolfstorm led the serval away, hoping she had heard him.

This time when Frost insisted they return to camp he didn’t resist, allowing her to lead him away. Vulturepaw and Springpaw’s presence encouraged him to obey whatever else was asked of him, growing quiet the closer they came to camp. The next few moments saw lapses in his memory, the next thing he knew he was being settled into a nest in the medicine den.

⇺ [ Spiderpaw ] ⇻
10 Moons • Male • DuskClan • Warrior Apprentice
Location: DuskClan Territory • Mentions: Patch, Owlfeather

Spiderpaw concluded from her scent trail Owlfeather was headed toward the lake. That in itself wasn’t abnormal, however the distant yet distinct chattering of Twolegs caused his lip to curl with disgust, pace slowing into something more cautious as he neared the bank. It wasn’t long before Patch caught up with him and he could tell with one glance she wasn’t pleased with him. The sight of her irritated expression would have been amusing under different circumstances, but he was too wired to really appreciate the aggravation he’d caused.

“I understand you’re new around here, but if you want your stay in DuskClan to become permanent you could do with accepting orders from your superiors with a bit more grace,” he commented snidely. “Never forget you’re still an outsider. You can become one of us, if you earn it, but in the meantime every cat’s status is above yours and I was assigned to watch you. My word means quite a bit around here so I suggest you behave.” His gaze was harsh and tone chillingly cold, the implications clear. He would have no trouble smearing her already shaky reputation if she gave him any grief. “So far I’m not impressed.”

“Clan cats stick together. Owlfeather is pregnant and alone out there. She is too important to risk losing, so yes, we’re going after her. I suppose, I understand if you’d rather return to camp, however. Perhaps bringing you along was a mistake. Rogues aren’t exactly known for their courage,” he drawled, resting back on his haunches and examining his claws for a moment or so, as if to let the insult sink in. “Go on. Head back, if you like.” His gaze rose to meet hers again, waiting for a reaction with an unreadable expression. How she responded, in his opinion, would tell him all he needed to know about her.

Owlfeather|Duskclan|Deputy|36 Moons Old|Siamese She-Cat|Location: Northern part of the territory|Mention(s) Directly: OPEN|Mention(s) Indirectly:

Owlfeather slowed down her pace, as she came closer to the Dawnclan and Duskclan border. The deputy looked around her, she was at the northern tip of the territory. Only a bit further and she'd reach the Starstone cave, Owlfeather's blue gaze drifted around, looking for anything out of place. The queen stopped in her tracks, as the scent and sound of the two-legs and their mange pelt mutts drifte on the wind, to the siamese she-cat. Owlfeather's nose wrinkled and her eyes narrowed, what was going on? There were never two-legs here.
Falling into a hunter's crouch, making sure that her swollen stomach would not brush the ground, the deputy walked on silent paws in the direction of the noise and scent. The she-cat knew that she was being foolish, she was pregnant and should probably stay in camp, but she was still Duskclan's deputy. Owlfeather was not that pregnant yet anyways, she probably still had an entire moon. Creeping forward, the she-cat walked into a bush. This would hide her, slowing down, she peered out the other side of her cover. The deputy's ear twitched, as she tried to identify the noises around her.

Flamepaw|Dawnclan|Apprentice|13 Moons Old|Ginger She-Cat|Location: Danclan territory|Mention(s) Directly: Lightsong, Gingerstar, Hornetpaw|Mention(s) Indirectly: Scorchwing, Ravenblaze

Flamepaw brightened up, as Gingerstar first agreed that they should go to the island, but then also said that she'd be aloud to run, with her brother as in escort, but still. After Gingerstars first words, Flamepaw had paused, happy with her idea. This made the apprentice sprint forward, as the leader picked up the speed. The fluffy ginger she-cat picked up speed and was soon beside the leader again, as Gingerstar stated her later comment. Flamepaw bounded over the her brother's side, coming to scratching stop beside Lightsong, the messenger apprentice smiled up at him. Flamepaw's earlier misgiving, about her brother, all but forgotten in the prospect of being able to run again. "Gingerstar said, that I could go running a bit, but only if you come with me. Could you?", the apprentice asked. "We can't go far, but it'd be better than nothing", the ginger she-cat added. Not really waiting and sort of expecting her brother to say yes, Flamepaw sprinted a few paced ahead.
She'd be able to run, the ginger apprentice bounced on her paws for a moment, waiting on Lightsong to come up beside her. As she waited, Flamepaw's ears swivel and nose moved, looking for any danger or prey. A strange scent suddenly hit the ginger she-cat's nose, wrinkling it she tried to identify it. He heart skipped a bit, as she recognised the scent. Turning back, she was about to say something, but stopped as Hornetpaw beat her to it. Walking a bit back, closer to her brother, Flamepaw nodded her head to Hornetpaw. "I know what you mean, I smelled it too", Flamepaw gave a pause and a bit quieter added, "Two-legs and... and dogs." A slight shudder passed threw her thick pelt, the only thing she was scared of, was dogs.

News/Event for Gingerstar, Flamepaw, Lightsong, Hornetpaw, Scorchwing, Ravenblaze
The scent of the two-legs and dog is uncomfortably close to the camp, enough so that going to the island for herbs is a secondary thought, taken over by the need to see if the two-legs are still around in the forest, off their normal path.
Following the scent leads south, taking an easy route through the foliage, but also winding rather sparatically, as if following something.
You realize that the trail is following the paths the clan cats often taken, which may be why its gotten so close to camp.
Following on takes you close to the border, where the scent starts to mix with the two-leg path, and the scent of Duskclan. Across the way, its easy to see Blackstar's pelt trotting alongside the border, a few rabbit lengths into the Duskclan territory.
(On the map, you are by the bridge that connects the territories, just south of the River Rocks. )

News/Event for Umbraclaw, Foxpaw, Turtlesplash, Owlfeather, Spiderpaw, Patch

For the Dawnclan cats, it was difficult to find the scent of Gingerstar, and so the decision was made to see where the two-leg was going, but at a distance. The trio goes across the large lake, by using the small strips of land, and sandbar that makes traveling across its surface easier for the clan cats. As they watch the two-legs, they slowly seem to make their way more east, into Duskclan territory. From the middle island, there is a clear vantage point and as they two-legs vanish into the Duskclan trees, just north of them you can make out a Duskclan cat, seeming to also be watching. Its difficult to tell if they're on their side of the border or not, as this area is the least patrolled in the warmer months.

Owlfeather, having skirted the top of the small lake to track the sound, can see the two-legs far closer than she may have expected, and the rather large dog they have traveling with them. The dog seems to be following a scent, and doesn't seem to notice her.
They are just south of her, entering Duskclan territory. Its hard to tell if they'll get close to Duskclan territory, as they're still separated by the small lake which they seem to be heading to.
Spiderpaw and Patch also will see this, though the two-legs may pass by them on their route.
Once the two-legs pass, you can just see movement on the island in Duskclan territory. Possibly cats, possibly something else.

(On the map, their general area will be where the small strip of land connects the island in the lake to the territory on the east side of the lake.)

Sootwhisker | Duskclan Warrior | 13 moons | Small, gray tabby tom | Location: Duskclan Territory| Mentions: (Direct) --(Indirect) Blackstar, Wolfstorm, Storm

Sootwhisker watched tensly as Blackstar and Wolfstorm exchanged words, each speaking with sharp disapproval of the other. This serval was causing all sorts of problems to arise, it seems. At the Duskclan leader's order, Sootwhisker carefully edged closer to the large cat. With a nod from Wolfstorm, the tom trailed behind the two, taking up the rear. He didn't feel safe walking alongside Storm and from back here he could keep an eye on her. She was dangerous from the start but after making it clear that she has little trust for the clan cats, who could say what she may do with fewer eyes around.

The young warrior listened quietly as Wolfstorm conversed with the serval in that odd translation of broken speach. His tail flicked in annoyance as he heard her apologize for Blackstar's behavior, as though their leader were a rude kit that she had to make an excuse for. He may have grumbled quietly, but he said nothing as his clanmate continued. What particularly caught his attention was the mention of her past. Sootwhisker had heard from other cats in the clan, specifically from Fawnpelt, little scraps about how Wolfstorm had come to the clan. It was strange to hear her say it herself, and the fact that she had said it in that serval way -and possibly dog way, based on what he was hearing- made it just a little extra odd to the ears.

He glanced away from the two as the older warrior promised to help Storm. Before they had left, the gray tom had heard Redeye make a promise to her as well. Why did everyone had to go and keep making promises to these servals? Granted, even he himself had been convinced to give his word at one point, but were they really capable of what the large cats were asking of them? Sootwhisker angrily mumbled meaningless words to himself, just keeping his gaze on the paws ahead of him as they travelled to River Stones. He didn't want to think about Shadow or Storm's kits anymore. Their circumstances were awful and he still disliked the thought of Storm's family being in danger, but now they were putting Sootwhisker's family in danger. At this point, he just wanted to be done with these outsiders.

Owlfeather|Duskclan|Deputy|36 Moons Old|Siamese She-Cat|Location: Territory|Mention(s) Directly: OPEN|Mention(s) Indirectly:

Owlfeather let out a grumble, as her eyes fell on the two-legs. Her ears drew back and laid flat against her head, as she saw the large dog. They looked as if they were coming into Duskclan territory, Owlfeather drew back her lip. This looked to be a problem, she should head back to the camp and try to find Blackstar. The leader needed to know of this. But what if, while she ran to camp, the two-legs came into their territory? The deputy's claws dug into the dirt, she needed to follow them.
Making sure to stay hidden in the bushes, the siamese she-cat started to walk in the direction of the two-legs and their dog. She needed to keep an eye on them, who knew what they could do. As she moved closer to them, Owlfeathe noticed that the dog seemed to be following a scent. It was moving in the opposite direction of her, so at least it had not picked up her scent just yet. She needed to be cautious.

Ravenblaze | Dawnclan Former Medicine Cat, Now Warrior | White Green-Eyed Tom | South of River Rocks | Gingerstar, Hornetpaw, Lightsong, Flamepaw, Schorchwing, Open!

Ravenblaze felt a shiver run down his spine as he slowly realised that the trail they had been following was walking along their paths. How had it taken him so long to realise this? It could possibly be that his mind was still stuck on how earlier, when Hornetpaw asked him for advice, he had drawn a complete blank. Usually stuff like this did not bug him, but the feeling of letting his former apprentice down by his lack of knowledge was heart wrenching. He decisively shoved the thoughts aside when the bridge came into view. During the group's tracking, he had been unusually quiet. This was due mostly to the fact that he was trying to focus while those nagging thoughts kept pestering him. He perked his ears more toward the border when he spotted the dark pelt of Blackstar. Turning his attention back to his group, he was, not for the first time, stuck on what to do.
"Should we keep tracking the trail? It's mostly on the two-leg path now, so they could be gone by now." He commented. The most logical thing to do was of course to follow it, but that did not mean the white tom approved of it. He knew his time was best spent learning all he could about being a warrior. That, and he wanted to spend some more time with Lightsong. He was fond of the warrior, and hoped they could become better friends. "Though we should hear with Blackstar if anything similar is happening over in Duskclan territory."

Flamepaw|Dawnclan|Apprentice|13 Moons Old|Ginger She-Cat|Location: Border|Mention(s) Directly: Scorchwing, Ravenblaze, Lightsong|Mention(s) Indirectly: Gingerstar, Blackstar, Hornetpaw

Flamepaw looked over her shoulder, she could still vaguely make out the island. Why had they followed this scent? Could they not just go to the island and search for herbs. She understood that, since the scent had been so close to camp, it might spell danger. The she-cat still did not like it though. As they keeped on following the trail, Flamepaw looked around, searching for danger or anything out of place. Her pace was off, so the apprentice would either walk beside her brother or Scorchwing. As they continued to walk, she became worried, what would they find? Were there really still Two-legs about or did they already leave? More important, would there be a dog? Deep down, she hoped that they had already left the forest.
As they walked along the river, on the trail of the Two-legs and their dog, Flamepaw saw the bridge spanning over the river- that was a natural barrier in this area- between the clans. Her heart skipped a beat this was where.... Flamepaw looked to the river, her mother had died her. The apprentice's mind wandered off, remembering a time when she had been a kit. Flamekit and Foxkit had been so young, their brother had also just been an apprentice. Sunspots had taken her kits out for one of the first times, to play outside. It was strange, somehow those simple days felt like such a luxury to her now.
Do to her mind trailing off, to better days, Flamepaw almost bumped into Ravenblaze. The ginger apprentice's ear twitched, as the former medicine cat spoke. Blackstar? The apprentice followed the white tom's gaze. That was right, she could also see the Duskclan leader's pelt through the foliage. Flamepaw's fur stood on end and her white tail tip twitched. Would the leaders fight? she wondered. Looking over to Scorchwing, the apprentice wondered out loud, "What should we do?"

⌘{ Patch }⌘
:: Female :: Rogue :: 35 Moons :: M- Spiderpaw ( Owlfeather ) ::
:: Location: Duskclan Territory ::

When the muted calico caught up with the curly pelted young tom, she was met with a stern gaze and a positively infuriating speech. One delivered with enough poison, that the dark tom might as well have nodded his legs farewell and grown fangs as certainly such behavior couldn't have come from a cat.

"With a bit more grace, an outsider, every cat's status is above yours, my word means quite a bit so...., I'm not impressed." And, to put the topping on the cake, "Rogues aren’t exactly known for their courage."

Did this clan cat think that his opinion mattered to her even a smudge? Influence or no influence, bottom of the food chain or not....she wouldn't be treated like a pet dog, to be ordered around and expected to obey blindly. They were cats....not canines. And every cell within her lean body screamed for her to knock some sense into this adolescent's mind...or body if his thick entitled skull wouldn't let words in. However, if there was one thing he had said that actually pertained and mattered when it came to this particular situation....it was that Owlfeather was pregnant. Patch had been there and done that....the result had been the loss of all but one kit to the world. If clan cats were expected to treat each other's kits as their own. It was a second chance. Another chance. And suddenly it upset Patch greatly that Owlfeather had left the camp with so little regard to her unborn children. Didn't she understand what she could lose? No...Patch acknowledged....it didn't really settle in until they said their first word.

So, the patchwork pelted cat swallowed all the comebacks she could think of, sheathed her extended claws and walked by Spiderpaw with only the slightest glance as she uttered the words "Ok."

She would follow the barely recognizable scent of the deputy-queen until she reached the edge of the lake...where the strong scent of dog...and indeed a silhouette of two humans as well as a rather large canine invaded her senses and had her quickly backpedaling into the brush at the edge of the water. Where was Owlfeather? Was it common for humans to walk so casually through territories?
