Midnight Pride is a pride that lives in Africa with lions of many different colors and genetics. These Lions live on a government protected land and cannot be killed by humans, at least not legally. Poachers are rare, but do make it onto the land occasionally. You can have as many lions that you own in this roleplay as you want. SUB MALES CAN BREED! YOU CAN START RIGHT AFTER YOU POST YOUR CHARACTER SHEET! YOU DONT NEED TO BE ACCEPTED! _________________________________ Ranks Roles For Midnight Pride: King: Leads the pride with his mate, the Queen. Makes all the important decisions and war movements. He may kick out of accept any lion or lioness into the pride. Shujaa. Lead Queen: Leads the pride with the king, she has all the same power as him. There will be 1 lead queen. Frith Sub Males: helps the King and Lead Queen with anything, they're the males of the pride Mfupa, Kondo, Tali, Caster, King, Lead Hunter/Huntress: Leads the hunting party that searches for prey and takes it down. Queen: The Queen's are the second highest lionesses in the pride. They are respected and come in after the King and the Lead Queen and the heirs. They are normally the first to breed. Emerald Healers: They are passionate for their talent in the healing touch. But when it comes to helping other lions they help. Unable to help their desire to heal. Healers are wise and full of faith, ready to help the pride in anyway they can. Sanura, Mala, Sakura, Hunter: Members of the hunting party that catch the pride's meals. Tamu, Thilva Cub sitters: Usually pregnant females or females that are nursing, they keep watch over the cubs Lagniappe, Aliya Trainees: Young lions and lionesses training to become Hunters. Judge, Kaz, Winter, Tamu Cubs: The youngsters of the pride Elders: The old, very respected members of the pride. Loners: males and females that dont have a pride or have chosen not to join one. Silvermoon, Red, Rose, fire opal, reeva, creek Remember these rules; ALL LD RULES APPLY • Please be respectful at all times, if you have any problems please tell me and/or anyone I make admin of the RP. • Do NOT kill of other people's characters or start fights without their permission. • Do NOT force a romance onto any characters without the owner's permission. • Any and all characters are allowed to have a crush, but please as the owner of the character. They might not like it. • I encourage any and all drama in the RP. Though when it comes to natural disasters or things of the sort please inform me, and we will make a vote as a group. Hassun's eyes shining bright with admiration as he looked up at Richie. He was about to say something when the sudden sound of paw steps were heard. He looked back to see another large male walk into the den. Hassun ran behind Richie and let out a small hiss. Dusty walked into the Sub-male den hearing a couple of voices. He looked down to see Richie and a small cub. "Hey Richie, hiw are you doing?" He says as he finds a spot at the end of the cave away from the two. He noticed how frightened the cub was and decided it was for the best. "This cub's yours? You sly little meerkat." Tsavo | Male | Loner (atm) | almost 2 years old | the young adolescent male padded along the side of the creek, keeping a far enough distance away that he wouldn't fall in. his legs were trembling from how long he'd been walking, it felt like days. Tsavo called out into the night, hoping someone would be kind enough to take him into their pride. It was a big risk doing it like this, it could catch the attention of something not so nice. about an hour after his cries subsided he heard the calls of hyenas nearby. he slowly sunk to the ground, crawling towards the trees. "please don't see me.." he whispered to himself, his ears pinned to his skull and claws scraping against the bark as he hoisted himself up into the tree. Just in time too, the hyenas had closed in on his location, about 10 of em had him pinned up in the tree, their laughter loud and obnoxious. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Rusty nodded his head. "Sorry to hear that, he is still very young." The male says as he starts playing with a beetle that was scurrying past him. "The hyenas have definitely been out of control lately. Maybe I should round up Kilrm, Shadowstep, Starkiss, Trail, and a few more lions to attack the clan's den site. Not just in the territory but around it as well." He says as he slams his paws on top of the beetle killing it. Annoyance was written all over his face as he looked back at Richie and Hassun. He calmed his nerves before attempting a friendly smile again. "So what is his name? Do you plan on keeping him or giving him to a lioness? I think one of them just returned with cubs. She'd probably take him in?" He says as he thought about the lioness with the three cubs coming in. Hassun stayed hiding behind Richie, not completely trusting the other male yet. When he started asking the questions he looked up at Richie with sad eyes. Would he give rid of him? No of course he wouldn't. He promised. He was fully weaned now and didn't need a milk giver. He could sleep right here next to Richie at night and spend the day with the cub sitters, just like he would if he was with his mother. Finding some courage he stepped in front of the male and stared at Dusty. "I don't need a milk giver, so I don't need to go with anyone else." He said trying to attempt a ferocious growl but it just came out more of a squeal than anything. Dusty let a warm smile then slowly stood up. "Well since you do plan on raising him. Then we should raise him together." He says walking towards the two and laying down just in front of them. "I mean if you are okay with that? Not saying we have to be in a relationship or anything.." Dusty could feel his face began to grow red as he stumbles over his words. "Just you know, cubs always do better with a family. And I don't know I would like a cub of my own too but don't really see that happening." He lets out an awkward chuckle as he felt more embarrassed by what he was saying. He looked away as he waited for a response. (((((Omg I didn't even noticed that Mizuki reply.. Im sorry)))))) Starkiss thought for a second before coming up with a plan. "Okay so I'll chase the heard towards the long grass. You and Trail stay in in waiting for an ambush. While I am doing this you can chose a target, but make sure they are either old or sick. We need the young and healthy for future prey." She says in a low tone before lifting her head up to see if anyone had noticed them. "It might be quick since I'll be coming up wind. They'll notice me immediately but that'll only mean their full focus will also be on me and not you two who will be down wind. They won't sense you till it's too late." She says in excited tone. Her tail swished behind her as she waited for a response from the siblings. Sundance let a small purr escape her throat at the head but returning the gesture. "I see another stubborn youngster eh?" She chuckled as she slowly stood up. She let him lead her and listened to any warnings. He was definitely more attentive that Starkiss who'd let her trip on a log the landed her in a badger den last week. She couldn't blame the lioness completely though. Lately her father had been really over bearing lately and even forbid her from leaving the camp for a few days cause of the hyenas. "So Tausi how has your morning been? Besides having a runaway patient." She said in a friendly manner as she kept her head low where she found it easiest to sniff her surroundings. Kilrm rolls his eyes before following the male and laying down near him. "Well since we are waiting might as well take a small nap. Been patrolling since moon high last night and I'm a little tired." He grumbled as he rested his head between his paws. "And don't wonder off, I'm a really light sleeper and am angry when woken up for something stupid." He huffed as he closed his eyes not quite asleep yet. He always acted like he mean old grump but deep down he truly cared about his pride. Hassun looked at Richie then at Dusty. "I'm sorry mister, but I only want Richie." He says breaking eye contact and snuggling into Richie's mane. "He is the only on i feel safe with." He says with a big smile. Dusty couldn't help bit smile as Hassun spoke. He looked up at Richie and said. "Well guess you are all he needs right now." Before getting up and started to make his way to the den entrance. "You should bring him out though. Keeping him inside the den won't help with his get over his fear of meeting new lions." Dusty says before disappearing out of the den. He walks over to the fresh kill pile and takes a small wartior piglet for himself. He heads to a nicely shaded spot and begins to enjoy his meal. 0 players like this post! Tsavo | Male | Loner (atm) | 2 years old | the hyenas had taken up shelter under the tree he was in, felt like they were waiting for him to come down. he was way too small to be able to fend off 10 of em. maybe 1 but 10 was too much. Tsavo began to call out to anyone, his orbs scanning the ground below, trying to find an escape route. the young male quickly lept from the tree, tripping over his feet as he hit the ground, but he was up and running in less than 5 seconds. He quickly looked behind him seeing the hyenas right on his tail, he made a decision that he may regret later, he jumped down the bank and into the river, the hyenas cackling at him and pacing back and forth at the waters edge. Once he made it across he kept up the trotting pace, his ears swiveling at every little sound. he began to let out a chuffing roar, determined to find a pride that maybe would take him in. 0 players like this post! (((it's cool Red don't worry XD))) Tiki watched as Frith chuckled and seemingly accepted the younger male into the pride before continuing on her way. Tiki had finally reached camp with Yudai behind him. "well do you want to sleep with others around your age or by yourself?" the Smilus asked as he thought about all the available dens. Tiki shook his red fur to get rid of an itch as he glanced over at Yudai. "I'm ok with that and it should be fine as long as Snare doesn't mess this up" Trail said obviously trying to bait her brother. Snare just huffed and rolled his eyes, his claws did sink into the dirt under his paws. Snare was not one to hold anger shrugged off the comment his sister had made. Trail looked to Starkiss and gave a nod "it sounds fair, I'll be waiting" Trail said and watched as her brother simply gave a nod. Tausi chuckled and smiled as he spoke "yeah there's been too many of those stubborn ones lately". Tausi hesitated for a moment listening to their surroundings but quickly continued to lead Sundance towards the water hole. "it's been rough but I have no right to complain, life would be far less interesting if everything was easy. Besides talking and sharing a walk with others is enough to make me smile" Tausi replied, he waited a moment before asking her "how about your day? Also any time you need me to help you out just ask. I'm never too busy". "you know, how can you lecture me about resting when you yourself haven't gotten a decent amount of sleep? I'm aware they are quite different but the effect they have on our bodies is almost the same" the white Smilus huffed as he tried to get comfortable. Shadowsteps head snapped up having heard an unfamiliar voice calling out for someone. The Smilus was on his feet before he could stop himself. "Hey did you hear that? It sounds like trouble at the river" he said. He wasn't sure if he wanted to risk it but as rough as he was, he atleast had a heart. Frith had moved on towards the river after meeting Yudai. The queen was getting older and really wasn't as strong as she used to be but she could never let anyone suffer. As she got closer she heard a young unfamiliar voice calling out. Though she could also hear Hyenas on the opposite bank. She let out a loud roar warning the Hyenas to back off before revealing herself to the young male. He wasn't sure who this female was but she seemed friendly enough. He made sure to be respectful though as this seemed to be someone of higher power. "if its not any trouble, could i stay in the territory for a couple days, just until i've rested up?" Tsavo had been chased out of his old pride by two new males that had come in and taken over. the healing wounds on his back end had shown they weren't very nice about it. He left behind his mother and two sisters, going off on his own was risky especially for a small male like him but he had no choice, it was that or death immediately. Frith chuckled softly and sat down in front of the young one. "well, you did intrude but that's ok, I'm glad you crossed the river, you look as though you've had a tough time" she purred softly. Frith looked over his injuries with slight concern. "Stay and rest as long as you want, my name is Frith I'm the current leader here. You can call me whatever you are most comfortable with. You can stay here permanently if you wish" she replied softly. "we have healers who can help those wounds heal faster and if you still decide you want to leave we have a lot of lions who can help you prepare" she offered with nothing but kindness in her tone. The older lioness was very thin and looked as though a strong wind could topple her. She'd not found food as appealing as she once had and she was starting to smell like herbs due to the many healers visits she had. Even though she was thin her warning roar had come out loud and strong, revealing that either she wasn't as weak as she looked or she was just good at hiding her weakness when it counted. 0 players like this post! I'm Tsavo." he said in a soft voice before looking back at his injuries. "that would be nice." he was very fortunate to have found this female, though she looked quite beaten up and older, he knew she'd help make him feel safer, sort of reminding him of his mother. "I really do appreciate the help, its hard finding others out here as kind." he laughed, licking at the largest wound right above his tail, leading halfway up his back. "I really don't wanna be a bother, but is there any available food around i could snack on. I've taught myself to hunt but its hard for me to sneak up on em due to my darker colors." Tsavo closed his eyes as the wind blew through his scarce mane, before leaning down to lick at his paw, his claws digging into the dirt below. This was the first time he'd felt safe in almost 2 months, his body tired from walking and his stomach rumbling. (( i hope im doing alright with this rp. I can be bad at grammar and stuff due to my ADHD, I don't really know how to form sentences all that well.)) 0 players like this post! Like? |
