Midnight Pride is a pride that lives in Africa with lions of many different colors and genetics. These Lions live on a government protected land and cannot be killed by humans, at least not legally. Poachers are rare, but do make it onto the land occasionally. You can have as many lions that you own in this roleplay as you want. SUB MALES CAN BREED! YOU CAN START RIGHT AFTER YOU POST YOUR CHARACTER SHEET! YOU DONT NEED TO BE ACCEPTED! _________________________________ Ranks Roles For Midnight Pride: King: Leads the pride with his mate, the Queen. Makes all the important decisions and war movements. He may kick out of accept any lion or lioness into the pride. Shujaa. Lead Queen: Leads the pride with the king, she has all the same power as him. There will be 1 lead queen. Frith Sub Males: helps the King and Lead Queen with anything, they're the males of the pride Mfupa, Kondo, Tali, Caster, King, Lead Hunter/Huntress: Leads the hunting party that searches for prey and takes it down. Queen: The Queen's are the second highest lionesses in the pride. They are respected and come in after the King and the Lead Queen and the heirs. They are normally the first to breed. Emerald Healers: They are passionate for their talent in the healing touch. But when it comes to helping other lions they help. Unable to help their desire to heal. Healers are wise and full of faith, ready to help the pride in anyway they can. Sanura, Mala, Sakura, Hunter: Members of the hunting party that catch the pride's meals. Tamu, Thilva Cub sitters: Usually pregnant females or females that are nursing, they keep watch over the cubs Lagniappe, Aliya Trainees: Young lions and lionesses training to become Hunters. Judge, Kaz, Winter, Tamu Cubs: The youngsters of the pride Elders: The old, very respected members of the pride. Loners: males and females that dont have a pride or have chosen not to join one. Silvermoon, Red, Rose, fire opal, reeva, creek Remember these rules; ALL LD RULES APPLY • Please be respectful at all times, if you have any problems please tell me and/or anyone I make admin of the RP. • Do NOT kill of other people's characters or start fights without their permission. • Do NOT force a romance onto any characters without the owner's permission. • Any and all characters are allowed to have a crush, but please as the owner of the character. They might not like it. • I encourage any and all drama in the RP. Though when it comes to natural disasters or things of the sort please inform me, and we will make a vote as a group. (Please keep the drama in the RP, none of us want unnecessary fighting or fighting at all.) • Gore, is fine, encouraged even. When it comes to sexual content, just fade to black or go to PM's. He replied to the male " I would prefer to sleep alone thanks "He wasmt much of a charter bug when it comes to his age group lions..and besides he preferred to get a quiet sleep without being pestered. "thank you, I thought the same thing myself when I came here, though I wasn't alone on my journey" Frith replied with a purr. Frith turned her head to some bushes as they rustled. Watching as Dove feather popped his head out of the bushes the male piebald adolescent quietly looked at the pair only deciding to throw out a greeting before disappearing into the Bush once again. Frith gave a soft chuckle, "that was Dove, he's not really that nice usually" Frith said. "if he gives you any trouble do let me know" Frith added. "Yes you must be hungry and exhausted, if you follow me back to camp I'll show you where to find the fresh kill pile and a den to rest in, I'll show you to the healers as well if you'd prefer to have them take a look at you before you rest" she said softly. Frith started to pad away slowly but soon hesitated making sure he was following before she continued on. The prides Adolescents made her remember what it was like with her your sister, although Nyxi was now gone and had been for quite some time. - "alright well I know the perfect den, follow me and I'll lead you to the den so you can rest" he started to pad towards the den before being rushed by two cubs yowling his name. "Hey you two let's talk later, I'm trying to settle in my new friend" Tiki purred stepping aside to show that he wasn't alone. "Alright fine" Sprig said before retreating with the other cub. Tsavo | 2 years old | interacting with Frith | the young adolescent grinned but quickly turned his head to the bush, watching another young male pop his head out. he kept quiet, listening to their interaction before nodding a greeting to him before he disappeared again. He genuinely felt as though this pride would take him in if he decided to stay. it was a hard world on his own. “coming!” he chuckled, walking quickly after the older female. “so how long have you been here?” he decided to make conversation as he walked. Tsavo was a very chatty lion once he began to feel more comfortable, he could talk someone’s ear off if they let him. “and I would appreciate the help from the healers. could help speed up the healing process a bit.” 0 players like this post! Frith thought for a moment as if trying to count how long she'd been apart of the pride. "well I've been here quite along time...I haven't been here since the start but I've been here long enough" she replied with a smile. "I've watched the pride grow and shrink and I've seen it survive some tough times as well" Frith mentioned softly. It wasn't long before the dens came into view. Frith slowed her pace noticeably, a limp started to reveal itself and she sat down to rest for a moment not wanting to make her leg worse. Frith motioned towards the dens in the distance before speaking "This place will be your home as long as you want it to be, while you are here we'll take care of you, if you choose to leave then later wish to return you'll always be welcome back here, it's the way the pride works, so as long as you accept it then you are part of the pride." she said. They were not quite rules, closer to information worth remembering. - Tiki slipped into an empty den. "you may come on in here, this will be your den for as long as you want" Tiki purred loudly. "fresh kill pile is dead center of the camp, the healers are located beside the nursery on the opposite side of the kill pile if you ever need the healers follow the scent of herbs and you should be just fine. The leaders den over looks the entire camp just incase you ever need to speak with Frith my dens a few dens to your right as you exit this one, it's the sub males den so if you need me for any thing you know where to find me" Tiki said, hoping the info would be useful to the adolescent. 0 players like this post! Tsavo | Sub male | 2 years old | interacting with Frith | The young male held his head low, not sure how inviting the rest of the pride would be. they dark scruffy maned male shook his head as he peered around at the prides den area. he was very cautious around other males, especially ones much bigger. Tsavo had a healthy respect for them after what had happened to him when he was exiled from his birth pride. He continued the quick pace before realizing that Frith had slown down and was slightly limping. Tsavo frowned before turning around and walking back towards her. “are you okay?” he asked in a softer than normal tone. He couldn’t help but be worried since the lioness was a bit older in age. He’d grown to like her within the hour he’d known her. He forgot about his wounds for a moment and sat down with her, his eyes trailing down to the leg she was limping on. no visible wounds so it must be from just old age. He brought his paw up, resting it on her back as if to bring some sort of comfort, before giving her some space but still sticking close. he felt safe in her presence, like he did as a cub with his mom. 0 players like this post! Frith purred softly noticing Tsavo's concern. "I'm alright the legs just not great sometimes, Its never been right since the last time I hurt it when ever that was" she chuckled making light of the situation. Though in a moment her her head snapped in the direction of a rustling bush, they were in sight of the dens but it never hurt to be too cautious. She naturally rose to her paws protectively as if she was ready to fight. The reason soon became clear when she was suddenly attacked and sent stumbling backwards after receiving a heavy smack to the head. Frith let out a loud roar still moving to keep Tsavo safe. Frith snarled and glared at the stranger as if she knew this darker furred male, the males green eyes shot towards Tsavo as if he hadn't expected Tsavo to be there. Frith was about to use the momentary distraction Tsavo provided to her advantage when two other males rushed in to help Frith. One of them appeared to be a dark shade of gray just like Frith the other was a red and black symmetrical Piebald. They both quickly over powered the stranger and the red and black Piebald chased the male from the territory leaving the gray male to check on them both. "mother are you ok? And whose this?" the gray male asked with the same warm and friendly smile Frith usually wore. "Kazuya this is Tsavo, Tsavo this is my son Kazuya though he prefers Kaz" Frith introduced the two neglecting to respond on weither she was ok. - Tiki gave a slight nod. "no problem, I hope you like it here when you get a chance to explore the territory more" Tiki replied before turning away to take his leave. "well have a good night and I guess I'll see you around" Tiki said before exiting the den. He started to walk away when he bumped into Dove feather earning him a painful bite and a few smacks. Dove was only an adolescent but his assault didn't hurt any less than it would if he was an adult. Tiki finally snapped after a particularly painful bite landed on his front leg. The two males ended up having a full on scrap in front of Yudais den. 0 players like this post! Like? |

He started to get annoyed at the sounds, he wanted to rest and he gets cranky if he wasn't able to get a nap in. Void cawed and it echoed through the den as azazel started to get stirred up and black mist formed around yudais paws though only he could see this. The mist could be seen if yudai so wished it to be but he doesn't. Yudai let out a roar, despite him being an adolescent the roar was deep as it echoed through the cave 0 players like this post! Tsavo | about 2 years old | the young male quickly rose to his paws ready to defend himself from the strange male but noticed the two males he’d never seen before were already on him, his eyes were big and he was crouched down low, not sure if he should take off or just hide behind the two and frith. Tsavo is a very nervous and scared male, obviously, he wasn’t the biggest male around. Before he could run off he noticed that the 2 had ran the stranger off. Once frith began introducing her son, he began to speak up, “thank you, it’s nice to meet you, even under these circumstances.” He sort of awkward chuckled, a little nervous around the male. “your mom was just showing me around, she practically rescued me from the hyenas across the river.” he felt as though he was sharing too much so he quieted himself. He looked back at frith, approaching her slowly, nudging her slightly. “you okay?” he asked. “you didn’t have to protect me like that, you could’ve been really hurt.” he sighed softly, a soft purr falling from his mouth, giving a quick nuzzle under her chin, before giving her some space. He knew she could be injured pretty easy by a male that big and the fact she thought of a lion she barely knew was surprising to him. 0 players like this post! Dove heard the roar but didn't stop his assault on Tiki. Tiki on the other hand had stopped not wanting to hurt the younger male. A sudden sharp pain caused Tiki to lash out blindly. His claws caught on something as did his Fangs. He opened his eyes to see that he had infact injured the adolescent. "you idiot! I didn't want to fight!" Tiki hissed before running off leaving the adolescent behind in the dirt. Dove watched Tiki run off and growled lowly before limping off towards the healers. - Kaz looked at Tsavo and nodded softly. "yeah my mother really does like to take care of others, I'm not surprised but I'm happy to welcome you to the pride, I'm just sorry you had to deal with that" Kaz said. "things usually aren't that bad here because the pride will always take care of you but occasionally things do go wrong" Kaz replied. "How about I take you both to see the healers?" Kaz asked. He watched his mother closely. Frith smiled at Tsavo and chuckled. "I'm fine, there's no need to worry, I'm not in the best shape that's true but I'll always fight to protect others, I'd have done my best to take him down if I had to" Frith purred. Frith got up warily and decided it'd be best to start moving. Frith head started to ache more than she was willing to admit. The lioness trudged forward more tired than anything the limp was stronger the more tired she was. Frith followed her son and let out a yawn as she did so. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sundance lifted her head sleepily and sniffed the air. Suddenly she felt a warm body leaning against hers. She smiled warmly as she caught the scent of Kilrm next to her. It was rare for the male to spend time in the camp. Using her tail she to feel she examined him. He had definitely gotten more muscular, and his body had more scars on it now than the last time she examined him. Kilrm slept tired of three days of patrol with no sleep. Starkiss walked the edge of the pride's territory. She wanted to prove to her father she was more than capable of handling things on her own. Dusty Patrolled the western boarders. It was most busiest part of territory. Often used by rouges and loners to cut through the territory. Hassun played with a small meerkat skull, but boredom picked at his skin. Losing interest in the skull he began following a locust and flew straight out of camp. None the wiser Hassun followed the bug farther and farther from the camp. 0 players like this post! Like? |
