That's the point though. They said they fixed it, but the heir still shows no heritage unless you go to mom. And before this change I had girls that even going through their father and mother from their father mother hyperlinks (if their mom had a hyperlink at all, some of them showed unknown but showed up in heritage), I'd hit a blank wall of unknown eventually. Now I don't.

The issue is that we spent money on these girls and heirs and kings, and we aren't being refunded for decisions we made when for all we knew, we were buying clean lions that we had no way, previous to today, to see were unclean. Not everyone can afford groupies now, and again. We've spent TIME and REAL MONEY on these lions. We're 'huffy,' as you put it, because we've essentially wasted our time and energy.

If staff decided to suddenly wipe all the stat kings above 1k, you wouldn't object to people who owned stat kings being upset that their time and effort were wasted, because of a glitch they didn't know about, would you? Stats are another player invented challenge. You don't need high stats to play the game. It's just for fun.

It's hard work down the toilet but maybe at least it'll give people a new challenge. Tryina find a ray of sunshine in this, in case nothing can be done, might be worth it.

I'm not going to repeat myself. And YEAH its a well known bug, that's why we check lineages in the first place, duh. And sure, im gonna spend my cash on a piebald mod after the game wasted my cash with this update. Yeah, makes perfect sense.

I mean that's what I'm gonna do and have already done, but. That doesn't mean I can't be upset over the time and money I've lost. I don't think they're GOING to fix it, but that doesn't mean we can't be upset about the issue. But no matter how thorough we were, some of us got screwed anyway. And we can't all just buy MoDs or groupies.

What do you all even want Lioden to do? Pay you $$$ for all your "wasted" clean lined purchases? You took part in a self imposed challenge and that challenge had a bug, which they fixed. There's nothing to do here. Go make a rant thread, but there is no suggestion being made here.

Like...why would I buy a MOD after this? Fork over 50 more bucks, lmfao it's not gonna happen. The Staff has shown they are willing to ignore the outcry of a portion of the community for wasting it's time and money with their broken lineage system when the fix is simple and will cost no one anything.

Wiping our heritage, giving an item that does so (even at GB costs), or just refunding the GB people have spent are all options. The thread was made before the news post, so sure: explanation given. But we've offered suggestions for what we want to have happen.

Giving out an item that wipes heritages would defeat the purpose of clean breeding. You could make any stat beast heritageless.

Then don't play. But don't bitch over them fixing a bug in the game. I'd rather reset my pride than bitch over a fixed issue that had them broken in he first place. Do something useful with your time instead of complaining like a bunch of toddlers after a toy is broken.

I agree that a freely available heritage wiper item wouldn't work, but some kind of limited item, like one that's only very rarely available would be nice. Or, if someone's king was impacted by this bug, staff could wipe the heritage of that king for them, if they filed a ticket.

Okay but are you going to actually not support the game anymore, or just saying that in hopes for a reaction?

If the dev team won't fix something, it's important to do your best to try and take it into your own hands. It's fine to be upset with things. Hell, I've ranted about the economy on this game more times than I can recall. But you gotta either pick up and move on, or pack it in and leave. That's the important part. Coming to terms with it or fixing what you can on your end.. It sucks. It super soaker sucks supremely, but I don't think there's any way to track down every lion manually with a fucked up heritage, and you can't rely on every player behind honest in reporting it. It's one of those "that happened" bugs that affects stuff.

Similar to a server being unsalvageable* on ARK due to some horrible game breaking glitch and having to start from scratch, but at least in this instance you might have SOMETHING salvageable.

I get that Bennet, but it can't be too hard to actually verify if a player filing a ticket is honest about it.

Torq, I manually click the links for every single lion I buy, and I still ended up with some dirty lions after this. Parts of the heritage were not showing up before at all, no matter where you clicked.

Sometimes, you think bugs are fixed and they aren't. LD is hardly the first place to have that happen. It is a MISTAKE, for God's sake. I'm sure they're apologetic, but behaving badly is not how to go about anything
