Look it just seems like they can't decide if they want to support clean players or not.

They even started a new feature on the site to preview inbreeding on heritages, which to me shows they support this play style. But the minute it goes wrong they are saying its our own fault for not checking every lioness. Newsflash though most of us did, but entire swathes of ancestors weren't showing up even if I checked lion by lion. Then i'm being told on chat its not my fault by staff. While my modbox ticket gets responded to with "we will not take responsibility for this" so what am I supposed to do? Not play the game? They said that most of us clean players knew this was a problem, except we didn't... since were all making tickets about it now.

I mean how can I be more secure about playing than I already am? I always check heritages lion by lion, but that doesn't work. do I have to mail and interrogate the sellers? Like I made a ticket asking for a refund, because I'm now 30gb out with dozens of clean lionesses breedings lost to what is now a dirty king. I have sold pie cubs as clean, priced as clean that now aren't, what about all my stud fees? Do I have to refund them now?

I am at a complete loss, I don't know how to fix this, hell I don't even know if I'm supposed to be the one fixing this, because no one will take responsibility for it. What am I supposed to do?

No, they didn't, this is the exact reason why people are upset. We clicked on them and looked, they just didn't show up.

I'm happy the bug is fixed, but I'm unhappy that lions who were listed as heritageless in the pedigree, and when clicked on had no heritage, suddenly have heritage out of nowhere. It is NOT the player's fault, and I believe people who spent large amounts of GB on their kings should be compensated, enough to mutie rep again OR have their kings heritage wiped.

No support for a heritage-wiping item though, stat monsters shouldn't suddenly be clean because they would be able to afford it.

Okay, but if YOU weren't effected by the bug and suddenly lioden handed out items that let you instantly clean the heritage of a lion, I feel like a lot of you would rage at that too. Because doesn't that defeat the purpose? Someone could just use it on a stat monster with a mutation and tons of rare markings and bam- they have something 1000x more desirable than 99% of 'natural' clean lined lions.

Lionfish (clean unholy felis) (#57868) :: I imagine the amount of stuff they would have to dig through to verify every single player would cause severe impact on other major updates, like the tigons everyone is clamoring for. Verification might be supremely difficult.

Personally, I'd just be glad the bug is fixed? It's like a user stated up a bit further. No matter if they fixed this now or a year ago, they would have gotten shit for it existing in the first place.

That's why I think the items should either be hard to get, or there should be no item at all and staff should just manually wipe the heritages of those who had issues and filed a ticket. Or refund those who had significant monetary problems because of this bug that they were not made aware of.

I'm not saying that they verify every single player, just that they make sure that those who filed tickets are telling the truth. And I guess I might be underestimating the amount of people who would file tickets, but I don't think it would take long enough to hold up any future features.

I am glad the bug is fixed, but I think staff ought to compensate the people who were really screwed over by the fix and weren't aware that it was a bug in the first place.

If you want perfectly clean lines, try talking with the hardmode clan. But don't blame the staff, and don't be acting like brats because you sank money into someming that is free to play. No one asked to to sink real money in, no said you had to play this way. You chose the path yourself. Be reasonable adults and calmly talk things through with the admins and see if you can come to a fair agreeable outcome for both sides.

It says pretty explicitly they were unable to code something that checks every single lion, and only showed what is on screen on *that* lion. There was plenty of head's up about this.

"Giving out an item that wipes heritages would defeat the purpose of clean breeding. " The purpose of clean breeding was to create clean lions. There's no right or wrong way to do it.

People are allowed to be upset. Especially when they sunk time and assets into these lions that they wont get back.

If you arent upset, you likely werent affected and as far as Im concerned, have no place to speak.

All clean breeders with ruined lines have a right to be mad at this moment, but at some time we do need to pick up our stuff and start trying to put things back together, no matter what was lost because of this fix.



And true, if you were not effected, you don't need to say anything at all. People have the right to feel a certain way without getting bashed for it.

Ely | Ѕama'el (#106865) Please no name calling, your also being rude by doing that. Were all here trying to talk about it. Were literally trying to reach out and discuss a "fix" for this. As i've commented already we checked and checked, I cannot literally figure out any better way to be more thorough about finding and breeding clean lions. There are inbreedings I had no way of determining in my king's heritage, from users that don't exist anymore to boot.
