You are just a average lion trying to make it to the top of the pride. You must ban anyone in your path from the pride. When you ban someone, I will determine if it works or if it fails. If it works, the person your banning is set 1 rank lower. There is 2 prides, so specify which you are in and who you are banning! Rules 1. You have to ban someone RIGHT above you, not at the top. 2. NO drama/fighting. Go do that in each others messages, not here. 3. No 18+ stuffz. Jackalstar let out an aggravated sigh, glancing towards the river. The trash in it was cleaned out with haste— however, the rage within her lived on. She curled up into a ball near the river, concealed by the bushes around her. She made no attempt to mask her scent- if Midnight came back again, she'd put up a fight. Her breaths were shallow gasps, though even the slight noise was wracked with shudders. It was so hard to not spring up and bite the RunPride king's smug face off his snout, but she knew that his retaliation would be reasonable. She had to lure him in if she had any attempt to send off revenge. Jackalstar slowly counted the amount of lions in her pride, suppressing a cold laugh when she only counted one. Her mind set moved in a slow circle, edged with the unbearable anticipation to pounce on Midnight and with the crippling anxiety of her pride's chances. If she were going to claim so much territory, she had to have allies to help. Her fur pricked with an odd feeling. The lioness would have to wait. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Midnight slowed down near the river, watching it flow. The smirk was slightly gone, replaced with a frown. His pride was empty, that was true. But... Why? He had provided them. Oh, right. He didn't. He slightly laughed, turning around to see his small camp. He looked at the mountains in the distance, nodding. "Tonight, I make it longer." He turned around back to the river. He smirked. Midnight stepped towards the river, and in a swift movement, had stolen a rabbit that had crossed to the other side. he easily killed it and tossed it aside, ready to take back. He swiftly tried to jump over the river- he failed, falling into the strong river. Midnight slightly yelped, surprised. He tried to claw his way up, but the water was pushing him away slightly. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Jackalstar shot up, hearing distant commotion. By the time she broke cover from the bushes, the leader saw a pitiful shape swirling through the river. Her nose wrinkled when the smell of RunPride hit her. She ran forward with graceful strides, skidding at a stop to the river- and a few feet away from Midnight. She reached in with outstretched claws, hooking her paws onto his body. However, the mix of the king's weight and the speed of the river had her lurch forward. When she disconnected from his body, she yelped, "A downed log's in front of you! You'll be able to heave yourself out of the water then." A surge of anger coursed through Jackalstar. Oh, she longed to see the scrap of fur vanish underneath the surface of the churning water. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Midnight struggled, keeping his snout over. He glanced over at Jackalstar in realization, and sudden he was clawing at the log, trying to get on it. His paw went over the log, and he tried to pull himself up. He let out a frustrated snarl, then swiftly would be pulled under, the log just barely missing his head. He popped up on the other side of the log, and easily climbed up since the water was pushing him to it. He leaped over to his side of the river, wet and cold. He snarled. "Yeah, no help. The lioness grinned in return, though it wasn't friendly. "Why would I help a RunPride lion, let alone their leader?" She cooed, forcing the hair on her neck down. "Besides, I could've left you to die. I didn't have to warn you of the log- you could've hit your head." Her smile was gone. Her expression was now unreadable, and she tipped her head up. "I have to do what I need to do for my pride. Midnight, king of RunPride," she declared. "You are banned from my territory. You are to leave, and I have no hesitation chasing or killing you or a member of your pride should they cross the river. Not only is it for my pride, it is for your safety." She dug her claws into the dirt, suddenly in an aggressive pose. "Leave now, before I give that pretty face of yours a scar." 0 players like this post! Like? |

*please do rip me if not* Jackalstar tilted her head sideways. A pride whose paws are ahead its head will fall to its doom, she thought warily. If Midnight is so adamant on claiming more territory than his pride can patrol, he'll lose it quicker than he can earn it. A slow, maniacal grin stretched across her face. "Go eat your tail," she barked at the leader angrily. The lioness whirled around, her long limbs moving gracefully. She snickered to herself, before finally cackling aloud. "We're SwimPride!" She shrieked. "We control the water. Scared of crocodiles? Watch your paws, RunPride! We'll bite them off just like the lizards that live in the water." The facade didn't last long, however. By the time she made it back to camp, she was exhausted. She glanced over the pile of carcasses in the corner of the base— she'll eat something. Lilyriver had watched the whole scene from a clump of tall grass, crouching low so she was practically invisible. What attack could Midnight plan to launch? There was no one but her and him. Narrowing her eyes, she examined Jackalstar- she was well-built, fast, and obviously well fed. That either meant her pride was filled with skillful hunters and warriors. But it was a new pride. How could they have come up with such skilled lions so fast? Her mind made the connection, and she continued to watch Jackalstar. Her body was tense, ready to run back to camp.
