Darkwater Pride is an evil pride, controlled by a tyrant of a king, King Caster, current ruler of the Darkwater Pride. He rules the pride with an iron grip and his evil demeanor. He will not hesitate to kill anyone who gets in his way. But he's looking for something. He is mate less and will do anything to get a female to rule next to him. Every year, he gathers all the females, examining them as possible mates to rule besides him, but never choosing one. He swears that he will do anything his mate asks, maybe even treating the pride better if she wishes. He has some rules that the pride must abide by. They are as follows: -Males can not breed, they are for guarding only and must get permission to breed with any females. It is rare for a sub male to breed with a female, so he must gain the King's grace and will have to work hard for the privilege. -Females are not allowed to breed with males other than the king. -Male cubs will be cast out and females will be kept for hunting and breeding -All females must be gathered once a year to be candidates for the possibility of being Queen to rule by Caster's side. -Anyone who opposes the King will be killed. All rules can be broken in secret, but the consequences if the rule breakers are caught are dire. Be careful. (All of Caster's "Rules" CAN be broken, as long as he doesn't find out in rp/the character isn't obvious about it. That means that Forbidden Relationships ARE allowed, just be careful that your not caught. The real rules CAN NOT be broken as they are not part of the rp story, if that makes sense.) Her tail flicked at the end as she seemed almost emotionless. Again lapping up the life of the river. Her frame was strong, but slim, built for speed, but had a taste of strength too. The strong must protect the weak. The lioness listened to the others words carefully and eventually lowered her guard a little, it was slowly becoming clear that the Lioness wasn't going to lash out. She asked herself that same question many times, but always got the same answer. “Because I was raised to be a part of the pride. Someone has to teach the young how to stand on their own.” She turned back, her eyes falling on the two as she slipped to lay next to the water, a heavy breath escaping her lips. “I am the Main Brood Mother, I left for some time, between generations to deal with a part of my past. I have returned for the next season of young, to help guide them.” True, her way of teaching was sometimes harsh, and quite effective, but she had a way of teaching all her own. She waited, waited to see the day the King fell, just never stood against him herself. “If you value your life you will stay out of his way. Those soft eats rolling, listening to the area around them. “Many spoke Highly of my family, their training.
