Together they created SunStar Pack, a fierce but just pack that ruled Monti for hundreds of years. They united all the smaller wolf packs together. Life in SunStar was considered the greatest a wolf could have. But exactly a hundred years ago, the current ruling Alphas were shot dead by a hunter. The power automatically went to the Betas, but a huntress known as Starlight objected against Sunlight (The Beta Female) from becoming Alpha and challenged her to a fight. Now, only the males can challenge each other in fights, so the pack was horrified at Starlight’s breaking of the ancient customs. But she managed to convince at least half of SunStar Pack that she should be Alpha. The other sided with Sunlight, and a vicious battle broke out between the two, breaking SunStar Pack into two different packs: Sunlight Pack and Starlight Pack. Even though Sunlight and Starlight are long dead by now, the two packs still fight, but not for the same reasons. Each’s objective is to gain control of all six mountains in Monti and either conquer or annihilate the rival pack. Starlight Pack currently has control over Stump, Sharp Point, and Jagged while Sunlight Pack rules Pulch, Magna, and Acri Quadratum. Both packs despise the other, and currently peace is out of question. Rowan Bloodmoon|Female|Rouge|No clan|Blood of both clans Rowan froze. She didn't think anyone would be here, because of all the memories of the fallen wolves. Her hair stood on end making her body look more massive than she actually was. Her voice was deeper then the average female wolf's voice. "This land belongs to Starlight?" She stalked a little closer to the other wolf trying to get a sense of how much danger she was putting herself in by talking to the stranger. Siatra/Female/Star/Healer/Pack Camp Siatra shook as the stranger wolf padded closer. "Y-yeah! Well, this s-side of it, at l-least." she was obviously scared, her eyes were huge. "A-are you a Sunlight wolf? You d-don't smell l-like a pack w-wolf." Siatra tried to look brave by puffing out her chest, but as Rowan got closer, she seemingly deflated. "Don'thurtmeI'mahealer!!!!" Rowan let her fur smooth back down and became considerably smaller. She bowed her head toward Siatra saying, "Healing is a noble cause. If only the world could be healed. Siatra/Female/Star/Healer/Battlefield Siatra gulped. Was this wolf friendly? Well, she hadn't attacked yet. Or was she tricking her? Siatra's mind was going a million miles an hour to the point that for a moment, she was frozen in front of Rowan. She blinked then began to speak, her voice still small and high-pitched. "Well, Healer, there's a place I know hidden away in a secluded cave that is quite full of different plants. Perhaps you want to come with me to see if there is any useful herbs?" Artemis/Male/Beta Male/Starlight Pack/ Moon Watcher Art paced back and forth, his tail twitching in agitation. He pulled back his lip and revealed his fangs, growling deeply. He was still upset about Sunlight's victory. They had no honor. They didn't deserve to win. At least they had lost some wolves...The majority of which he had killed in his thirst for revenge. He stopped, breathing heavily. He couldn't admit to loss. He yearned for their blood spilled on his talons, for more and more and more of it. He turned to the sun shining down on him and let out a vicious bark at it. Why did it always have to be there, as a constant reminder of his enemies? He longed for night, when the stars and moon that were always present would finally reveal themselves. He then sighed, and sat down. He needed to know what Sunlight was planning. He turned his head and caught sight of a small, black wolf. MoonWatcher. "Moon!" he barked at her. She jumped a bit, startled, and then looked at him. "Yes, Beta Artemis?" "Go and spy on Sunlight...See if you can gather information on how they are recovering from the battle." "Y-yes Beta Artemis," Moon said shakily. I honestly forgot how much fun.....fun can be!" she giggled and looked to Destiny. "I think, sometimes the weight of the pack is so heavy I forget to look at the beautiful things in life. Like fun." she smiled once again. "Though it mus be harder for you. You are the Alpha female, after all. You have to look out for the whole pack and worry for your future pups as well as the future of the pack." Kiona chuckled. "Though I suppose it must also feel good, being in charge of the pack. I could heal so many wolves and..." She grinned, looking about ready to burst. "Thank you, thank you! Lead the way!" She pricked her ears. "Oh-wait!" she ran back to the Buru patch and grabbed her large leaf. "Alphight, nowph Iph pheady!" she said happily, her speech almost intellegable by the leaf in her mouth 0 players like this post! She took them on the main path but quickly deviated from the main road and went down a rougher path into the dark. Rowan shouted back towards Siatra, "Don't worry, this is just a tunnel, the path is actually quite smooth. Rowan continued on and led them both into a cave. The top was open, allowing su light to filter through. The cave floor was alive with various plants and small animals. A stream of crystal clear water flowed through the cave."Well? Siatra/Female/Star/Healer/Cave Siatra let out a large gasp. She couldn't help it- plants of every kind, some of which she had never even seen before, grew along the walls or on the ground. It looked like a healer's haven, so many herbs in one place. Siatra was frozen for a time, glued to one spot as she took in all the earthy smells and all the many, many herbs growing there. "Wow!" She finally exclaimed. "How did you find all this? It's amazing! No- it's perfect!!!" She dropped her large leaf down and immediately got to work at plucking some plants she knew- Ragweed, more Buru, Juniper berries, Hatli seeds, and more! She giggled, stopping to drop her hoard in the leaf. And there was still so much more! She hadn't picked nearly 1/5 of all the ragweed, and there was bazillions more Hatli seeds. And she had found several plants she didn't know the name of. It was possible they were some of the plants her mentor had never gotten the chance to teach her yet, but the idea of new, never-before-seen plants excited her beyond compare. 0 players like this post! But hearing that you only care for the well-being of the pack and you'd rather not fight- I really respect you for that, Destiny." She gulped. "I-I mean Alpha." Kiona knew it was okay to call alphas by their name, but she normally didn't. She had been raised strictly before her mother had left her, and there were some habits that died hard. "Anyway....hearing you say that really gets me thinking. What if everyone thought that way? I know it's impossible- there isn't a doubt about that- but what if they did? No battles, only loyalty.
