Together they created SunStar Pack, a fierce but just pack that ruled Monti for hundreds of years. They united all the smaller wolf packs together. Life in SunStar was considered the greatest a wolf could have. But exactly a hundred years ago, the current ruling Alphas were shot dead by a hunter. The power automatically went to the Betas, but a huntress known as Starlight objected against Sunlight (The Beta Female) from becoming Alpha and challenged her to a fight. Now, only the males can challenge each other in fights, so the pack was horrified at Starlight’s breaking of the ancient customs. But she managed to convince at least half of SunStar Pack that she should be Alpha. The other sided with Sunlight, and a vicious battle broke out between the two, breaking SunStar Pack into two different packs: Sunlight Pack and Starlight Pack. Even though Sunlight and Starlight are long dead by now, the two packs still fight, but not for the same reasons. Each’s objective is to gain control of all six mountains in Monti and either conquer or annihilate the rival pack. Starlight Pack currently has control over Stump, Sharp Point, and Jagged while Sunlight Pack rules Pulch, Magna, and Acri Quadratum. Both packs despise the other, and currently peace is out of question. Her voice was strong as she spoke, "Everyone up! It's time for the morning patrols! Hakati, Void, Teine, and myself will go on a boarder patrol. Breeze, Terra, Firefly, and Jorden, you will go on the morning hunting patrol. Be ready to go in five minutes." As for how I learned about this place...." she broke off and laughted a little. Rowan turned and went to a bare spot in the cave and nestled down in the dirt. "I fell in. From the top." Siatra/Female/Star/Healer/Cave Siatra giggled, padding over and looking up at the hole. "I'm guessing rain also comes down through there, which fuels the stream, and that waters the plants!" the cream wolfess was beaming. "It all works together so well! It's all so perfect!" SIatra giggled and flicked her tail happily. Padding over to a tall, leafy plant, she plucked a huge leaf and began to gather some herbs that she had not seen before. She bundled the leaf up into a small wrap and placed it beside her first one. She turned back to Rowan. "By the way, I'm Siatra, healer of the Starlight Pack. Rowan got up from her spot in the floor and walked over to where Siatra had already gathered the herbs she knew. "I thought these were poisonous." Rowan looks down at the herbs. She had no training what-so-ever in the way of herbal medicine. Or any training for that matter. She knew she could survive. Siatra/Female/Star/Healer/Cave Siatra followed after Rowan like a shadow. "Oh, no. That's tansy, and those are mulberries, and that's pepper root. Pepper root is poisonous, so that's why healers mash it up and put it on infected wounds, if you ate it, you would most certainly die." The small cream wolf tied the herb packages up and padded after Rowan to the stream. "Though there's a lot I don't know. Hekari never had the chance to teach me everything before she died." "Look, I'm on my way to a pretty little lake not far from here. You're welcome to come along. Though, the lake isn't really anything special." Rowan turns to walk out of the cave. When she arrives at tye mouth of the tunnel, the sunlight blinds her, as Rowan was accustomed to being in the dark. Her eyes adjust and Rowan turns the corner. Siatra/Female/Star/Healer/Cave Siatra sighed. "I suppose. But it depends on what a pack can be defined by." she pricked her ears and followed Rowan. "I'd love to!" she picked up her herb pouches in her mouth, beaming. Not having to work and sort herbs, getting to simply hang out with a new friend, it was a nice change of scenery for the young wolfess. She padded through the tunnel after Rowan, entering back into the sunlight. She smiled. Unlike most Starlight wolves, she actually enjoyed sunlight. Hearing the birds chirping, feeling the sun's heat on her back...it was wonderful, while the cold embrace of nighttime usually only made her shiver and feel alone. 0 players like this post! Like? |

bear / male / sun warrior / camp the male wolf emerged drowsily from his den, his maw wide open to reveal his sharp canines as he yawned. pausing at the entrance, his eyelids blinked a few times to adjust to the outside brightness, and his gaze surveyed the vicinity. there was little camp activity, so the warrior assumed that most packmates were still asleep. he continued onwards, focus pinpointed on the fresh kill pile. his stomach growled with morning hunger. he dipped his head to grab a hare carcass, enclosing his powerful jaws around the limp body and dragging it away. his mouth salivated at the prospect of food, but he paused, eyes once again scanning the vicinity, to ensure that there was no one else who needed the prey more. 0 players like this post! Hakati/Male/Sun/Lead Warrior/Pack Camp Hakati snarled a little, padding up to Bear. "Ey buddy, you know the rule." He flattened his ears. "The Alphas get first pick." His eyes narrowed. Maybe Bear had just forgotten the rule. Either way, he would not tolerate this. "Anyway, me and the mates are going on a patrol. WHy don't you come with?" Hakati gave Bear a look telling him he best not argue, especially with the lead warrior. (Hakati is just a bit rough around the edges!
