Together they created SunStar Pack, a fierce but just pack that ruled Monti for hundreds of years. They united all the smaller wolf packs together. Life in SunStar was considered the greatest a wolf could have. But exactly a hundred years ago, the current ruling Alphas were shot dead by a hunter. The power automatically went to the Betas, but a huntress known as Starlight objected against Sunlight (The Beta Female) from becoming Alpha and challenged her to a fight. Now, only the males can challenge each other in fights, so the pack was horrified at Starlight’s breaking of the ancient customs. But she managed to convince at least half of SunStar Pack that she should be Alpha. The other sided with Sunlight, and a vicious battle broke out between the two, breaking SunStar Pack into two different packs: Sunlight Pack and Starlight Pack. Even though Sunlight and Starlight are long dead by now, the two packs still fight, but not for the same reasons. Each’s objective is to gain control of all six mountains in Monti and either conquer or annihilate the rival pack. Starlight Pack currently has control over Stump, Sharp Point, and Jagged while Sunlight Pack rules Pulch, Magna, and Acri Quadratum. Both packs despise the other, and currently peace is out of question. Kiona/Female/Sun/Beta/Boarder Kiona heard Hakati's howl that he had caught a trespasser. "Friend of yours?" he muttered, then sighed. She saw how scared Moon looked and remembered being that scared herself, when she was a pup. She looked to Bear, then back to Moon. She leaned down like she was going to bite Moon's. "Hurry." she whispered in Moon's ear. "Run. We've already got one of you. Just run. Be safe, wolf. And Bear, let her go. We've scared her enough." 0 players like this post! Eclispe /female/Starlight/omega /Location: Sunlight camp " Thank you," she said with hope that she wouldn't be punished too badly " you're not like many alphas I have known" she smiled before looking at the bush where the wolf that brought her here had left. Kiona/Female/Sun/Beta/Camp Kiona heard Hakati howl for her. She turned and ran toward his voice, hoping Moon would get to escape. "What?" she asked Hakati once she reached him, but he said nothing but 'Come with me'. She followed him reluctantly into the pack camp. Upon seeing Eclipse laying down and Destiny healing her, Kiona gasped. "What happened?" she nodded to Eclipse's wound. She could hear Hakati snarling faintly in the background, but she ignored it. The only time I had spilled the blood of your pack members were to protect mine. I never kill for the sake of bloodshed." She gave a soft look up at the sky before knocking herself out of it. "Come. Let's get you in the cells so you can rest. You need all the strength you can get if that leg is going to heal." "Kiona! Watch out!" Turning her head to the new female who she assumed to be the beta before looking away. Kiona/Female/Sun/Beta/Camp Kiona tipped her head in confusion. "Wha--" she gasped as Hakati landed on her, his paw on her head. She yelped as his claws dug into her skin. She swiftly rolled over, knocking him off her, and jumped up. She snarled at him. "BROTHER! What are you doing?!" Surprise and betrayal shone in her eyes. It's true, she very much disliked her brother. But she didn't hate him. In fact, she loved him. She tried not to tuck her tail as they circled each other. She had fought in many battles, and killed many. But now...she wasn't so sure how....and if....she'd survive this. Hakati/Male/Sun/Lead Warrior/Camp Hakati gave a simple smile. "Beta." he barked, refusing to say Kiona's name as he always had since she'd joined the pack. "It's about time I challenged you. I was growing tired of being a lowly warrior. You're weak, sister! And you're affecting Destiny! This pack needs a strong wolf to be future Alpha. And that wolf is me." he snarled, Leaping at her once more. Kiona narrowly evaded him, still staring at him with horror. Hakati let out an angry howl and ran at her, biting her in the shoulder and latching on. Hakati/Male/Lead Warrior/Sun/Camp Hakati pulled away, ripping a small chunk of flesh from Kiona's shoulder. The she-wolf let out a scream, her eyes blazing with fury. She slammed into Hakati with all her might, taking the breath from him. He hit the ground with a thud, trying to regain his breath as she grabbed onto his leg and dragged him through the dirt. She growled and jerked her head. Upon hearing a 'snap' come from his leg, Hakati howled out in ear-shattering pain. He leapt up, favoring his leg, and came at Kiona with his claws aimed for her eyes. Kiona ducked and slipped under him, head, butting him in the chest. He staggered backward, while Kiona regained her bearings. While she was shaking her head, dizzy, he lunged for her and ripped his claws down her head, clearly trying to kill her. Kiona howled in horror, as Hakati grinned. He thought he'd won. But when Hakati turned his back to her, she leapt up and pinned him, digging her claws into his throat. Hakati squirmed and whimpered. "K-Kiona! I'm your brother!! Destiny! She will never be my Beta, to my dying breath I'll--" he was cut off as Kiona bit down harder on his throat, causing blood to drip and bubble from her teeth. "!" Hakati's eyes widened with fear. "I-I submit! K-Kiona!!" Kiona dropped him, licking her teeth as blood dripped from the large cut in her head into her eyes. Hakati staggered upward, gasping for air. "Destiny!" he growled. "I loved you but I now realise that you were always this way! Too soft, too caring! You'll never survive like this, Destiny! I could've been your Beta! I could've become Alpha! We could've been mates!"he narrowed his eyes and snarled. "I see what my sister's turned you into. A soft weakling! Destiny, appoint me as Beta now and we can be mates!" he offered her a smile. "What good is Kiona, anyway?!" KIona/Female/Sun/Beta/Camp Kiona blinked, astonished at what her brother had just said. He loved Destiny?? She looked to Destiny, but her vision was blurred. She was suddenly aware of all her wounds now that the adrenaline was wearing off. The chunk out of her shoulder, the large gash on the top of her head. The slashes she had across her back. Wagging her tail to see the two siblings alive tho, she hated to watch any wolf die.
