It wasnt rare for members of Scorpius Nephthys’ pride to leave, she pushed for it, actually, calling over queen and kings alike to see if they’d be interested in taking in one of her lioness from across the waterhole. But this was, well, extreme. She trodded around, calling out for all attention to her as her few permanent pride members followed behind her, in a huddle and equally as excited.  0 players like this post! Like? I’m currently at work and can’t update the doc just yet, but reminder to everyone that the fifth and sixth are counted as one since I had to post the thread yesterday night and not that morning, I’ll be responding to everyone, but the next ticket opportunity is on the 7th! Reappearing in the morning, Oil walks around, greeting all the kings and queens that have gathered here. He watches the special little cub play around, meeting all the new leaders excitedly. Slinking on over, he greets Queen Nephthys. "Good morning Queen Nephthys, I sure hope you've been well. I have brought my own little special cub, she was very ecstatic to meet your cub once I told her about it yesterday. " The special little cub waddles on over with her new friend, geeking about how colorful Oil is, "Haha, well that's where I got my name from, my colorful fur. Now now little cub, it's time for me to watch over my own family again, have a wonderful day, I will see you tomorrow, come on." Iris, say bye to your new friend." 0 players like this post! Like? |

Alyr reappeared at the gathering in the morning, now followed by four other lions. This included his two submales, Hemlock and Nightshade, and his oldest lionesses. Lantana makes her way over to the cub, reaching down to touch noses with it. "Hello, little one. It seems you've had a lot of visitors lately. Hopefully, one of them will be taking you to your new home." Aria repeated the older lioness's action, though she didn't speak, giving the young cub a warm smile. Their king sat back and watched, allowing his most trusted pride members to introduce themselves to her. When he caught sight of Nephthys, he smiled in greeting. As Nightshade crouched down to greet the cub, his large paws leaving indents in the dirt, a young lioness appeared next to Alyr, breathing hard. She spoke to her king in low tones, her brightly colored pelt glittering. Hemlock, along with the lioness, approached, and the male introduced the newcomer as Viviana. "She's got such a wonderful pelt, just like you!" Viviana smiled at the compliment, brushing her tail over the ears of the cub. The two returned to their king's side. After a moment of speaking with his pride members, he made his way over to Nephthys and the cub. "You've seen I've brought more of my pride with me. I wanted my most trusted members to see this brilliant little cub. They all believe she'll grow to be a wonderful lioness, regardless of where she ends up. I hope you are doing well, Queen Nephthys, and I hope this cub finds a good home." He dipped his head respectfully, just as he had done the day before, and returned to his chosen spot. The small group decided to stick around for a bit more of the day, waiting to see which prides would appear to view the cub. 0 players like this post! Like? |

(I’m only responding to those that have new tickets just because of time constraints, since today and the first day of the thread were counted as one as stated in the thread and as I reminded everyone! Everyone who double posted don’t worry! Your efforts won’t go to waste!!!. Thank you to everyone being patient, I worked from 8 am to 8 pm today and haven’t had a chance to update the doc I use to keep track of everyone since last night!  )Horizon puffed her chest out, looking proud at the praise, her queen laughing. “Thank you, I do my best!” She cooed as the cub began to blabber to the king about “the coolest feather” she’d caught. After a while she takes the lead, another leader catching her eye and bouncing off. Nephthys smiled, catching Marbled sun’s eye for a moment “watch your paws next time, okay?” She joked, bouncing off. (@Frostblight your tickets been counted for today!) Nephthys hummed at Jagan, “I take great pride and in my cubs being prized and healthy.” She chirped, Horizon trotting around Jagan before bouncing off with a giggle. (@Altalune_skie your votes been counted!) Nephthys seems rather pleased with Mandaña, her smile only growing as he spoke, she couldn’t get a word in before he was gone, but it was clear she was flattered by his kind words, the cub seemed confused that he hadn’t stay to play like others, but shook it off, bounding towards another lion! (@Swampy4804 your ticket has been counted!) The queen watched as the others approached, taking a deep breath as they came closer. It was definitely not every day that she was blessed with the scent of sea that she enjoyed so much, she was cautious at first, eying them carefully until they got closer. Horizon seemed rather immersed by their presence, watching the two lioness with bright eyes as they got close, hiding behind her mother. Nephthys met to greet them, calling out to her other pride mates to drag over some food. “I’d be happy to, but for now you all seem tired, please, rest.” She said softly, she looked at Dawn with a seemingly knowing expression, not wanting to break her strong and proud leader facade, but still signaling she was more then aware the pain the two had gone through. The cub pattered quickly behind her, greeting the two with a small wave, before tugging her mother to meet another lion. (@Scirocco I genuinely appreciate it! Your ticket has been counted and I loved reading your reply!) Horizon was immediately draw to the thump Kulman’s paws, she squealed, running for her own broodmother before Nephthys gently stopped her, comforting her. “Don’t fret dear,” she began, “he’s a lion, just like you and me.”. Horizon seemed intimidated to say the least, but still walked forward anyways, she hadn’t met many primals, in fact she’d only met one, and that was her prides own neighboring king, and he was MUCH smaller then Kulman. She listened to him speak from behind the safety of Scorpius Nephthys legs, though seemed to perk up at the mention of a friend! (@Magpie your tickets been counted!!) The queen doesn’t keep Jeremiah long, but clearly takes note of him, giving him a smile. (@Tina your votes been counted! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Keii, now returning for the third time had brought a few cubs, closely guarded by their two sub males who were nothing like each other. Sora remained close to the cubs, pointing out new creatures and answering questions while Lucky stalked next to Keii, mumbling about how he could be spending his time alone. Away from chattering cubs. Keii lets out a stiffled chuckle as the cubs crawl over one another, eager to meet the cloudy cub in question. "What do you like to eat?" asked one, while another asked "Do you have any lions that you hope to get into their pride?" A clawless male sat at the back, with his protective adoptive mother hovering over him. Lucky grumbles amount making space for him and Keii, while sizing up Nephthys. Keii bows apologetically. "The cubs were insanely curious about why I kept returning to the water hole and wouldn't let me leave without them. I hope you don't mind extra company." 0 players like this post! Like? |

Kulman would return the next day with his brother. As he strolled through the grass laden with morning dew, he told him of "a fine young cub he had met recently", and that "the opportunity seems like a great pride extension for both border relations and their own lineages". He pointed with an extended paw, still a bit in the distance. His brother nodded with a smile, then turned back, galloping back the way they came. Kulman continued forth, approaching the queen and offering yet another gracious bow before he spoke. "Madame, I am aware I am but one of many lions representing their pride here, but I could not help but spread the word to my brother Kagar, who is in turn spreading the news further. We've discussed introducing the young King in our neighboring pride to your young Horizon, but we will have to await a response. I wanted to ask if you'd be welcome to this, or at least allow the young squire to approach behind me! " He continued, mentioning that his brother had even considered suggesting a play date, but Kulman felt it would be inappropriate to ask of the Queen, especially while so many lions were approaching to meet the princess. Again, he spent a few hours of the day speaking with other lions, mingling with the friendly prides and discussing prey routes. He laid with cubs, both visiting and local, bellowing his stories of his accomplishments and heroic adventures! Some of the cub sitters, however, got a little annoyed with him for rowdying the cubs up with his outrageous stories. Back home, his queen certainly wouldn't have allowed that for long. She'd have covered up the younglings ears and scolded Kulman for "sharing that kind of violence". Of course, to Kulman, it was just training stories! How else was a young cub to be a motivated fighter? He laughed as the cubs romped about, eventually egging him on to play "elephant" as they "hunted" him. With a dramatic choke, cough, and gurgle, Kulman was "slain" by the local cubs! He opened one eye and winked at Horizon, hoping she too was having fun! Tuckered out from the commotion, Kulman returned to his pride for the evening to rest up. His lionesses awaited him, oggling and cooing over stories of how cute the little princess was. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Zodiac walked into the cave once again surveying all the kings and queens before making her way to Queen Nephthys,“ I came for another visit forgive me if I’m being a bother..“she said softly doing her best to give a bow having some trouble moving around. Zodiac greeted the cub and her mother as well as noticing the cub looking at her newest battle scar with interest,“ Oh that’s from a rouge male introching on my kings lands while he was away I’m considered to be them first line of defense for or pride besides Merlin..“,she chuckled answering all tye cubs questions about her many other scars and fights she has had and before she had to leave,“ Have a nice night Your highness you have been blessed with A fine cub,her gorgeous mother, and a Stunning an Protective brood mother..“she complemented before making her way home. 0 players like this post! Valentino approached the waterhole as his eyes rested on the beautiful queen.. He smiled as he slowly approached the queen, then gasped as he caught a glimspe of the cub’s fur and it was gorgeous! He introduced himself as a local king to the beautiful queen and warmly asked for the cub’s name, before letting out an “ooh” sound. He then stalked over to the cub and smiled at her. He told her a quick story about his few years as a king before gently bowing his head at the queen and the cub. Valentino then stalked off back to his pridelands, but not before leaving a small token for the young cub! Sir Floofypaws stepped forwards and watched the cub again, smiling. “Hello again, little friend.” He flicked his tail, hoping to tempt the cub to be playful but calm. The male silently laid down and gave her an inviting grin. As he watched the cub, he hoped that the piebald would join his pride. Chances were slim, but the cub was pretty and felt.. unique. As if she was going to lead a pride. Perhaps she would travel. Or perhaps she will just be a huntress or scout. Maybe a broodmother. Alyr, returning for the third day, had arrived with the same group as before. However, as he approached, the lionesses and accompanying males found a spot to lounge. Following behind the king was an adolescent lioness, her tan fur bright and well-kept. "Greetings, Queen Nephthys. I hope it's alright that I've visited again. I'm rather enjoying coming to see this little one." The usually vicious king spoke warmly of the young one, as he did all his cubs. The adolescent behind him stepped forward, and after a look from Alyr, stepped in front of him, murmuring a greeting. "I've brought Carly here with me today. She's the oldest of our younger members, and she just had to come to meet Horizon." Carly had already stopped paying attention and was now greeting the cub. Just as Alyr's lionesses had done the day before, she touched her nose to the cub's. It was clear she had been shown this just before leaving, as she nearly stumbled over her own paws and stepped back quickly to avoid toppling over onto the cub. One of the lionesses from his pride, one who hadn't been there the day before and was not lounging with the rest of the pride, came to stand behind Carly. Alyr's eyes brightened and he began to introduce the lioness. "This is Madeline. She's recently begun to travel to different prides in the area. She's been a wonderful member of our pride." The lioness only nodded to her king, and then to Nephthys, and returned to her group. Carly had lowered herself to the ground, batting at the cub's paws as she had done with the cubs in the pride. Lance and Styx had always loved it, so surely this cub would enjoy the game too. After a moment of watching the two play, Alyr nudged Carly, and the two returned to the lounging lions. Carly was speaking excitedly to her king as they walked away. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Felis returned today to greet Horizon, carrying a tiny pink flower. Stopping to bow to Queen Nephthys and Horizons broodmother, he smiles and offers the flower to Horizon. "Hello little one. I see you have many more friends visiting you today. I brought you a gift to play with..... they grow around our caves and our lionesses like to decorate my fur with them as you can see." After heading back to let the next lion take a turn with Horizon, Felis blushed deeply as he heard other lionesses making remarks about his stars and big paws and what they could do for them..... The young heir sits back beside a rock and shyly waits for the day to play out.. watching to see who all this beauty brings in. 0 players like this post! Like? |

N’Kai decided to come back to this event, for whatever reason - he couldn’t figure out why. but he returned this day with a lioness, so she could get a look at this beautiful cub he had talked about in the flowery caves of his home land. The Grumpy Cherrywood slowly padded along inside the cave, her sight was not great (due to old age) but she agreed to come along as she was worried she wouldn’t be able to see this sacred cub, worried she would soon die before she could witness its glory. N’Kai slunk around the crowd, careful to stay near the old grump trailing behind him. He then led her straight to the cub this time, not dilly-dallying around. he let The Grumpy Cherrywood meet with the cub, she doubted it was anything special, but as soon as she saw it, her eyes lit up for the first time in many long years! she stayed a little longer pestering this gifted cub with questions, before N’Kai stepped in to drag The Grumpy Cherrywood away from the cub, letting the other kings/queens visit this cub. The Grumpy Cherrywood didn’t want to leave the cub, but wouldn’t offend the new leader, as she didnt want to retire quite yet. instead, she milled around with other visitors, while N’Kai preferred to talk about his adopted father’s (for about 7 days) death. N’Kai took The Grumpy Cherrywood back over to the cub just before he decided it was time to leave. they gave the cub another blessing, another prayer, and N’Kai left for the entrance to the cave. But The Grumpy Cherrywood decided to give this cub a gift of an extra prayer and blessing. “I have asked the starter of our pride, Arynn, to watch over you. I forever grant you good luck, peace, prosperity, and speed. Farewell, Young One. May his soul guide you to a good pride, and i pray that Arynn will watch over you no matter where you go.” she stated proudly, then bowed her head respectfully and left. (i wish everyone goodluck, but i assume The Grumpy Cherrywood doesn’t care about luck, she just wants to tell the little cub some stories lol-) 0 players like this post!
