It wasnt rare for members of Scorpius Nephthys’ pride to leave, she pushed for it, actually, calling over queen and kings alike to see if they’d be interested in taking in one of her lioness from across the waterhole. But this was, well, extreme. She trodded around, calling out for all attention to her as her few permanent pride members followed behind her, in a huddle and equally as excited.

“Greetings!” She called as she climbed one of the large rocks on the side of the body of water, a smile on her face, “I’ve come to announce something special!” As she spoke, the lioness moved out of the way, showing a small cub saddled in the middle, “Not too long ago, my pride was blessed with our first gifted cub!” She spoke with such pride, the cub herself squealing and tapping her little paws with glee, the queen smiling at her from the rock, ”Ill be here looking for her perfect pride the next while, please come visit me if you’re interested.” with that, she jumped down, swaying as she rejoined her lioness and lead them to a shady spot under some trees.

The pride approaches the waterhole, Horizon stepping up to meet the lions that had come to see her. Her fur has settled into a nice red, no patterns move under her fur, and the color is bright a vibrant. Looks like Nephthys was right, it did settle as she got older!

She thanks everyone for coming one last time, her smile bright, she gestures behind her, the cubs running over to see her, squealing and tumbling over eachother.

“My mother told me that if anyone was to pick the proper homes for my siblings, it’d be me, so I’ll start with them.” She chirps.

“Shimmer.” The cub giggles, tapping her paws and rushing over, she gestures to Kulman and Norok, muttering something to her sister before the cub nods, running to them. She greets them both with a gentle hello, turning to Norok and telling him he’s “the one my sisters been talking about so much? Cool!”

“Ripple.” The next hops up, a large smile on her face, she seems more then excited to get moving, tail flicking. Horizon laughs, pointing out her pride, to which Ripple takes off, rushing towards Felis, she fumbles, falls, then gets back up and shakes herself off. She greets him with excitement, chattering on about how cool his land must be! Horizon sends Felis a happy smile before moving onto the last cub.

“Atmosphere!” She calls, waiting a moment while the cub stumbles away from his mom, for ease of everyone involved, Horizon tells him his pride, to which his mother scoops him up and brings him over, apologizing to Keii, as he wasn’t done nursing just yet, and as soon as he was done she’d scurry off!

Horizon takes a deep breath, watching the rest of the prides as they waited for her decision, it takes her a moment but finally her paws move. Soon she’s standing in front of who she’d chosen. Mesa Red and Sweet William. “I guess you’re stuck with me now.” She squeaks. Before breaking into soft laughs, it’s clear she’s emotional. She gives them both a nudge on the shoulder with her head, and Nephthys takes a moment to shout out, proud of the event.

The rest of the day, Scorpius Nephthys celebrates, food is given out, cubs play, and she gives her blessings to everyone!
