Horizon squeals, popping her head outta one of her many dig outs, “yes! Yes! Go over there, see if you find somethin shiny!” She squeals, diving back into the dirt. (@Daimas your tickets been counted! And thank you! Still reeling from the pon )

Horizon seems a little shocked, someone can HATE dirt? But it’s so fun!! She shrugs it off after a while and enjoys her time with the elder lioness, she seems very sad when they have to part ways, and Scorpius Nephthys’ gives the lioness some food before their return journey! The cub pops her head out of the hole she was digging, she waved to the younger lions, saying hello to Carly. “I’m lookin for gemstones! My mom uses them for pretty things!” She squeaks, tapping her paws. Nephthys, speaking to the older lion, merely laughed. “I’m sure you remember being young, it’s hard to let that go.” She chuckled, sitting down to talk to him. Little horizon seems to have the time of her life digging with the other lion, squealing and running gems to her moms as she went, Harvest rinsing them off in the waterhole while Nephthys thanked her in between conversations with other leads. They all wave off the king as he leaves! (@Turkey, your tickets been counted for today!)

Intrigued by the lesson, at the end of the day Horizon could name most of the gems they had found! She thanks him for his help and skips off to tell her moms what she learned! (@Lilpeep your tickets been counted for today!)

Harvest, the broodmother of Nephthys pride, assured him that the cubs would be going home as clean as they came, and after the eventful playdate, Harvest dragged the two off to wash their paws, dealing with the whining from both. The cub returns to Jagan with squeaky clean fur! Horizon says goodbye to both and bounces away. Harvest gives Jagan a gem as a sorry before they leave! Horizon complimented to adolescents coat, making an offhand comment about how “hers just hasn’t picked what color it is yet.” Oops… looks like there’s still some self confidence issues there. They spend the day digging away and Horzion seems very sad that they have to leave, waving off the primal and king while snuggling into her mom. The cub is more the eager to agree with a digging contest, even after she loses miserably, she asks to “GO AGAIN!” Clearly, letting her pride get to her. By the end of their time together, she’s exhausted, walking to her moms and flopping on them. Nephthys thanks Oil for his time as always, happy to see him, she gives him one of the gems Horizon had dug up as a thank you! (Zhāng, your ticket for today has been counted!)

Horizon squeals when she sees Mesa Red, more then excited to run over and help her with her cubs. Nephthys, on the other hand, disappears for a few moments, reappearing with the broodmother, Harvest looks excited to talk to William, hey…. Is she blushing? Horizon tries time and time again to give her the gemstones, “mom won’t mind! You can have them!” But it seems futile, and she seems very very upset to see Mesa Red, and her cubs, go but goes as far as she can to walk them off, waving goodbye until they aren’t in sight anymore. Nephthys’ hands fhem a stone in secret as a thank you, and a hope for a good journey! (@Sentiant being your tickets been counted!)

Nephthys chuckled as she watched Nigthtmare and Horizon dig, rolling her eyes, “oh to be a cub again.” She joked, smiling. She talked with Zodiac for a while, enjoying the other lions company. By the end of it all, Horizon went to go curl up and nap, and Nephthys thanked to two, waving them goodbye as they left. (@dragon painter, your ticket has been counted for today!)

That’s it for day eight everybody! I rolled three random entries to get a gem from this encounter just for fun (this was a last minute idea, lol) so you three will be getting a random july gem, day 8 will be up soon!

Felis carries a young cub with him today, the coats starry look matching his. when he sets the cub down and bows to nephthys the cub fumbles a bow as well and tumbles over with a squeak.

Queen N’Kai arrives close to the time that Queen Nephthys’ pride did. after hearing about the stars falling, he stayed a little longer before leaving so that the pride could have their time to watch. Queen N’Kai crept atop a tree sort of nearby to watch the stars fall, as that is quite important to her pride too. near the end of the event, her hunting patrol spotted her and watched it with her. it was a while longer before Queen N’Kai led them to the waterhole to meet the cub, a short meet-and-greet where they talked about their stories, Horizon got to see her friend The Sassy Demiurge again, and got to meet a new friend just like her! The Humorous Cloud got to play with Horizon for a while before the hunting party and Queen N’Kai left, as they figured Horizon (and the 2 adolescents that he had brought with) were tuckered out from staying up all night for the falling stars, and playing together early dawn. Queen N’Kai said her goodbyes to Queen Nephthys and Harvest before leading the hunting party back home.

Sir Floofypaws nodded and plopped down to watch the falling stars. He didn’t see Horizon, so he assumed she was somewhere else, perhaps at home. After a while, he politely said goodbye to Nephthys and headed back to his pride.

Kali had snuck out of her Pride to go on an adventure. She noticed that there were prides and lions gathered for the stars that were going to shine so bright tonight. That was exactly why the she-cub had snuck out of the broodmother den. "ooh, new friends!" The female chirps happily and races towards the crowd. She notices a cub next to her broodmother and decides to say hello. "Hello! I'm Kali! Are you here for the stars as well? I love watching the stars fall and being able to make wishes. Even if they don't come true it's still tons of fun!" Kali's tail sways happily as she talks to the cub and broodmother. "Maybe we can be friends? I mean that is if you want." The she-cub was full of energy and couldn't stay still for long, so she played in the dirt with her paws while she waited for an answer to her question. Although even if the cub did say no, she'd still be friendly and play with her. I mean why wouldn't Kali be friendly? She's friends with everyone she meets.

Both Mesa and Will seemed eager to see the others today, though they didn't move too quickly so that the little cubs could keep up. They were walking now, babbling something similar to words and batting one another's ears. Normally Mesa would have come during the day, but today they were late. "I'm sorry we weren't here sooner," Mesa said to Nephthys, looking around curiously.

"This is a sacred day for us, we were celebrating," Will explained, craning his neck to look for someone.

"What's going on here?" Mesa asked, flicking her ear.

As Nephthys explained, Mesa got an excited look on her face. "On this day, of all days! This could only be good news! Oh, we should really be with our pride on this special occasion." She paused, looking around, and for a fraction of second her happiness seemed to vanish. "But . . . it would also be nice to watch it with all of you as well." She smiled again, pulling her cubs towards her.

"We'd love to stay," Will said, far more comfortable than he had ever been with Nephthys. "I'll be over there, Mesa." He flicked his ear towards the silhouettes of Horizon and Harvest.

"The sky is sacred to my pride as well, you know," Mesa said, looking up at the darkness. She stuck around for a little bit, curious about Nepththys's pride and their own beliefs, but soon went over to where Will, Harvest, and Horizon were. Will was talking extremely animatedly, and as he turned quickly to greet Mesa and her cubs, he accidentally hit Harvest in the face with his mane. He apologized about a dozen times, his face beet red, before he finally settled down again. As the first comet streaked across the sky, they all sat and watched quietly. The cubs tumbled around with happy squeals, one of them trying to reach Horizon's ears to bat them. The night was filled with light that cast strange shadows, and they sat with only a few low remarks, overwhelmed by the elegant mystery.

Upon their arrival Nightmares fur had gotten darker onyx splotches while Zodiacs Elysian mane sparkled as she commented,”It is quite nice out i dont star gaze often our pride is rather busy..” Setting nightmare Down carefully before laying down to rest her sore limbs, “ what i would give to be young again..” she chuckled watching Nightmare hug horizon before wrestling around near the water having fun.
Nightmare noticed Harvest and Nephthys and waved happily to them before letting out a yelp when they were wrestled to the ground again by Horizon. Zodiac yawned her mane twinkled a bit,” I find it weird that some lions fur sparkles at night..” She commented looking at a king who’s s fur looked glittery in the moon light she rolled over and began to make small talk as the cubs played around.
A few hours later Nightmare yawned attracting Her attention,” I think its time for us to go.. It was nice to talk to you two again..” She purred warmly hauling herself up and scooping Them up giving Horizon a hug before she left carrying a passed out Nightmare back home…

Carly had approached the waterhole alone, looking around anxiously. Though she couldn't see any of her pridemates nearby, eyes glinted from a bush further away. She greeted Nephthys quietly, "That sounds like a wonderful tradition." She didn't comment on her lack of companionship, simply padding away to sit by herself. She looked up at the sky, though her posture was still tense, and she whipped her head around at the slightest noise from nearby.

Kaula padded up to the grassy clearing, he had heard of an event that was important to one of his neighboring prides...the falling stars. He let his eyes gaze upon all of the lions who were resting under the blanket of stars, but he was looking for one in particular. Horizon. He soon spotted the cub pouncing on her broodmother's tail. He padded over to where Nephthys was prying the cub off of the other lioness's quivering tail. Horizon perked up as you approached.
"Hi!" She let out with a mrrow. "Are you here to watch the stars?" she asked, looking up just in time to see the first comet. "Look! Nephthys! I saw one!" she squeaked.
"Are you sure?" Nephthys purred, teasing the excited Horizon. "Hello, Kaula. It's wonderful to see you again so soon." She remarked in between licks between horizon's ears."
"It sure is." Kaula replied. "She sure is a handful." he said with admiration. "Of course, she will mature with age. She will be fit for a queen." he added. Was he hinting at something?
"Many lions have stopped by." Nephthys informed, "But not many have stayed to see the stars. They were all interested in her." She let her eyes rest on the eager cub, who was practically shaking with excitement to see the stars. "Well, have a seat, if you would like to stay." She advised. Kaula slowly lay down, letting his paws scrape up the cool earth. He let out a purr as Horizon tugged on his ear. This is going to be a great night.

Visiting during the near night, Oil is intrigued by what Queen Nephthys is saying about these "Falling stars", he approaches with Nephthys and notices that Harvest and Horizon are both eith her today. He greets all three of them, bowing his head down in courtesy. "These falling stars seem very interesting, I've heard from those Celestial Lions visiting that if you make a wish on one of the falling stars them your wish might just come true! Doesnt that sound exciting little one?" Horizon seemed very excited to watch the falling stars even more than she already was.

Trotting off near the back of the pride, Oil lays farther away from the reat of them since hes just a guest visiting them on thier special event..

With everyone ready they eagerly wait for the falling stars.

A few minutes fly by in a flash before all the lions gasp seeing the falling stars light up the sky. Oil sees Horizon whispering something under he breath from where he is but he cant make out what shes saying, he can only guess shes making a wish. After all the falling stars have past, he stands up and says his goodbyes to the pride, promising he'll come back tomorrow.

Harvest was indeed, very tired, she forced herself to stay awake as long as possible, finally falling asleep. Queen N’Kai and Queen Nephthys taking some time to chatter while the cub snored away on her broodmothers back. (@Nothing_Special, your ticket has been counted for today!)

Horzion was very excited to see Jagan, telling him about the many other gems she’d found the day before after he left. Harvest looks distraught, likely at the memory of having for give the cub ANOTHER bath. When he leaves she tells him goodbye with a smile! (Altaune_skie, your tickets been counted!)

Horizon eventually pops up, having gone off to play with the appearing fireflies for a while. Nephthys explains a bit about her prides tradition, mentioning a particular lioness that she’d known, connected to the sky, but sadly no longer with them. Sir Floofypaws leaves just as Nephthys seems to get into some.. well… conspiracy theory stuff. Weirdo. (@Turkey, your ticket for today has been counted!)

“Wishes?” Horizon asks, turning to her broodmother, who gives her a nod. The cub politely bounds up to Kali, happy to have a friend, she asks questions about how stars grant wishes and such, explaining how her pride saw the meteorites on her end. At the end of their time Horizon is incredibly tuckered out, and flops against Scorpius Nephthys, while Harvest makes sure Kali gets back to her pride safe and sound. (@Ryoka, your ticket has been counted for today!)

Nephthys smiles at the two, not taking any notice to the cubs clambering over her, she chirps it’s a pleasure to see them, and replies to the lioness’ sadness at the lack of her pride, with a sweet “well, at this point, I’d count you as part of mine, come sit and rest your paws!” and a smile. Some of the other lioness bring her food.
Harvest seems to relax when William trots up, she doesn’t even raise her head for a moment, humming a soft hello. Horizon is playing to the side, batting at fireflies and running around, she looks even more tired then before, and suddenly it’s very clear why, as Horizon proudly shows will the three little cubs Harvest has tuckered up to her. She’s so tired she doesn’t even seem to mind the smack she got from his mane, merely laughing it off. By the time the stars start to fall rather regularly, she’s absolutely tuckered out, as is Horizon, curled with next to Nephthys and sleeping like a rock. (@Sentiant being, your ticket has been counted! Also please don’t feel bad, I love getting entries like that, I just wish I could respond it kind without it being a whole novel! It makes me so happy to see people write as much as they do!)

Horizon made a small comment about that, how apparently her mothers fur did that at one point, but doesn’t anymore. She runs and runs with the other lion, tumbling and bumping into almost everything before finally sitting down to watch the stars with her moms, by the time to others leave, she’s asleep! Harvest quietly left her cubs with Nephthys for a moment, going to sit with Carley, Horizon running around and splashing at the edge of the waterhole. Harvest greeted Carley with a small nod, asking if she could sit, and settling down with the other, making sure she had company. (@Zephyr your ticket has been counted for today!)

Nephthys seemed to enjoy the company of the other lions, Horizon continuing to play with Harvests tail. After a while more lions come, and Nephthys’ attention diverts. (@Soup, your ticket has been counted for today!)

Horizon seems fear about the idea of a wish, having heard about it from other lions, and goes to tell him about a few she ideas she had. Nephthys quiets her gently, reminding her that wishes don’t work if they’ve been told, two which the cub gasps and nods. Nephthys pushes politely for Oil to stay, happy to have the other lion there. Even after he refuses, she tells him that he’s always welcome to come back over.
Horizon says goodbye to Oil, promptly slumping over onto her mother, and Nephthys thanks him again, wishing him a pleasant walk home, just as the sun begins to rise! (@Zhāng, your ticket for today has been counted!)

That’s closes the 13th! Today and tomorrow are the last two days, and please know that I appreciate everyone who’s been here. It’s been so fun writing and at the end of the night I enjoy being able to try and make myself think thunk thought up some replies, I didn’t expect so many a night and I’m happy to see people into it!

I just want to remind everyone that incase you feel burnt out or tired, do not feel like you have to write the worlds longest reply, you guys were kind enough when I was having an emergency, and if you need to write a simple “(king) appears today, and says hello!” I’ll just be excited to see you in the replies <3

"My your own litter? I now how tiring it must be, even though I myself cant have a litter of my own many of my lionesses have gone through it. Sometimes I have to take care of the cubs and it tired me out all day haha!" Waving a small goodbye to the tired brootmother, he walks on over to Horizon.

"Hey there little cub!" Horizon doesnt respond and instead turns around, sending him a flick of her tail which he can only assume is a hello. Understanding that Horizon didnt want to talk today, he opts for sitting down near her to keep watch for the rest of the day.

((Usually I write these rp's the second you out out a new prompt and only finish them when it's like minutes before the day is over but I finally replied early today , take care of yourself and have a great day! This rp has been very fun and great to look forward to everyday
