Felis comes back today looking just as worn as Nephthys... at the mention of the space dragons his head shoots up.

"My Queen had mentioned something like that before she passed.... We were thinking she was imagining things in her age... but the night she passed she told me about how I was going to have to take over her duties and how this is a once a lifetime occurrence.
It has been a trial by fire since then... so I bow to your bravery to go through this!"
Felis bows and then goes to look around for Horizon, pausing before he puts his foot down to move a rock and looks into the little space it opened.

" Hello little princess. Your Queen tells me you are embarrassed by your fur changing colors? Would you like to talk about it? I had a ....similar problem as I grew up..... and even now I wake and my markings and fur colors seem to change as the day passes."

Siren’s Song paced over to the small cubby, peering at the cub within.
“Hello, little one,” they comforted. “I love your blue fur.”
The cub only backed further in, presumably intimidated by the large pink lion.
“I’ve never seen fur like that,” they persisted. “I’m unique too, you know!”
They turned to Nephthys.
“Space dragons? Honestly, given the ancient deities who hang around, I’m not surprised.”
They licked one dainty paw before turning to leave.
“See you tomorrow!”

Sir Floofypaws nodded at Nephthys and slowly padded towards the rock that the cub was in. “Hello, Horizon,” he quietly whispered to the clouded piebald. “Your fur is beautiful, and you make you unique. Even if your fur colour is special, it is you. Whatever you do or say, that’s what you will be remembered for. Nobody will judge you for your fur.” The king paused and looked at Horizon. “And if they do..” he looked and smiled widely at the cub.

“You can fight them! Raawrrr!” he let out a roar but tried to make it not too loud. “Okay but seriously, please don’t fight someone for that,” he chuckled and placed his tail tip on Horizon’s shoulder. “Have an awesome day, kiddo.”

As Sir Floofypaws began to leave to go back to his pride, he went to say goodbye to Nephthys. “Hello again, Nephthys!” He purred and flicked his tail in the air as a goodbye. “Hopefully I’ll see you tomorrow!”

Visiting alone today, he too was tired from having to play with all the cubs today and putting them on thier nap. He approaches Nephthys and greets her back. Hearing about how Horizon was embarrassed about how her fur seems to change everyday, he slinks on over to help her feel better. "Hey Horizon, how ya doing today?" The cub only looks at him from behind the rock, refusing to respond to anyone. "You dont have to be embarrassed about your fur, many other lions and lionesses all have very different furs, patterns and color combinations, I myself get stares from other lions and animals all the time,I was very embarrassed of my fur at first but over time I've grown to be proud and happy of it, now, will you come out from behind that rock and show the world how special you are?" Horizon, feeling less embarrassed now, crawls out from behind the rock. All of a sudden Oil picks them up and sets them down on his back, "Hold on Horizon!" Oil zooms off with Horizon on his back, them both laughing the whole time. After playing together for a while, Oil decides that it's time for him to take his leave for the day, "I think I helped Horizon and their fur problem now, have a great day Queen Nephthys!"

N’Kai slowly returned, tired from the long trips he has been taking for this cub. he arrives alone today, and seems spiritually out of place. Nephthys makes small talk about how chaotic it has been lately for their pride, with all the dragon attacks and Horizon being embarrassed by her fur. N’Kai prays for things to get better for the other queens pride. he then decided to approach the cub, curious to see why she would ever have to be embarrassed. He crept right over the rock to get a good look around all the other kings/queens. he spotted the young cub dodging the gifts and praises of all the other kings and queens (nobody take offense to this- i dont mean it, but it just helps my bit-) quickly he sprung around behind the cub, and found a crevice for the small cub to hide in. “psst- Horizon- hide in that corner so they will leave you alone.” N’Kai whispered to the frightened and overwhelmed cub. Horizon jumped a little, not expecting someone behind her. she nodded quickly and crawled in. N’Kai then sat in front of the small hole, leaving enough room to supply oxygen to the cub, while the kings and queens scrambled to the other side of the rock. N’Kai built up a lie about how the cub needed to make dirt outside. the other kings and queens scrambled over each other to get outside and pester the cub more with questions, gifts, and praises. little did they know she was right behind him. he moved aside to let the cub out of the crevice, and gave her a small nod. she thanked him quietly and started to go behind the rock again. “Horizon, you want to know a secret?” he whispered. the cub turned around and came a little closer so that she could hear N’Kai. “Horizon, you are quite special, and while i know you have already been told that way more than any other cub, you must know its true. but that doesnt mean you should feel like you have to hide. hiding only makes people seek you out. but if you dont give them something to find, you wont be pestered to the end of your sanity. do you understand?” he ended his inspirational words with a deep and meaningful question. Horizon perked up a little during all his talking, and she was now happier than when N’Kai had seen her yesterday. she nodded vigorously after his question, smiling brightly. “well then, seems you can handle the crowd now. it’s like a bull, take it by the horns and dont let go! thats how i know, you will find the right pride for you. now when you are ready-“ N’Kai didnt even get to finish his sentence before Horizon raced to climb the top of the rock. N’Kai crept around the other side to find Horizon standing prioudly in front of everyone, looking like she had the power of a god, greater than the stars and the sun in the sky. N’Kai decided the cub would be alright for now, but before he left he went back to talk to Nephthys, who was smiling at the cub lovingly. “wonder how that happened.” N’Kai spoke proudly. Nephthys turned to him with a little bit of a thankful grin. N’Kai respectfully dipped his head to the queen, before he took a clear path out of the den, while everyone else was distracted.

(again- nobody take offense to a certain part in my bit- made it up to help me write a bit since im not exactly that good at it ;-;)

Horizon shuffles to look at him, she doesn’t seem to convinced, “I think I look funky.” She mutters, after a little while it seems like she feels better, she gives Keii a gentle nose boop with her paw as a thank you! (@wanderer you’ve been counted for the 8th! Also please feel free to share, I’ve got a mouth the make a sailor blush :’))

The clouded cub seemed a bit shy to the new prince at first, but eventually warms up, making sure he “promises not to laugh!” Before slinking out from her spot in the rocks just long enough to play a couple rounds of hide and seek before tuckering back away. (@magpie your tickets been counted for the 8th, also I admire your dedication to makin a whole cub up for this )

Nephthys couldn’t help but be flattered by her words, and Horizon looks very happy with Bandits words! She gives herself a little shake, as best as she can while in her spot, seeming a little less sad about her growing fur! (@Zephyr your ticket for today has been counted!)

Horizon seemed to immediately perk up at the mention, in fact, no one had mentioned her eyes before, “thank you!” She squeaks out, tapping her paws softly. “I um, I like your fur! It’s real pretty .” She squeaks. After talking for a while, Horizon seems comfortable enough to squeeze out and meet William, only for a moment, before scurrying off when another group appears. Nephthys can’t seem to be anything but happy with their interaction, genuinely appreciating the time the two lions had taken. (@Sentiant Being your ticket for the 8ths been counted!)

The cub looks amazed at the large zebra, scurrying out just long enough to try some and compliment the king, thanking him for the meal! (@Ushanma’s Pride, your ticket for today has been counted!)

Horizon seems very, very hesitant at first… but the rocks are uncomfy… and Mandaña looks very content where he is. While she’s still upset that her baby fur still hasn’t seemed to pick a color, she does crawl out and go sit with the king, falling asleep for a little while, and when the two wake up she does let herself talk about why she’s upset. Chattering about how she “looked like her ma when she was lil, but now it’s like her fur couldn’t decide! One day she was all sparkly like some of the pretty rocks Nephthys brought home, then the next she was almost as red as her brood mother. It made her little head spin. After the talk she decides to head back to her little cave, but this time she’s got more pep in her step! (@Swampy4804 your ticket for the 8th has been counted!!)

Nephthys and the broodmother, Harvest, thank Tide for the advice, and Horzion seems to perk up at the mention that other lions coats had also changed!! The cub thanks her as well and asks her to tell Zodiac “I hope her cubs at the bestest of best hunters!” Her childish version of a compliment, in a sense. (@Dragon Painter, your ticket has been counted for the 8th!)

Nephthys seems disheartened that the other queen had passed, but congrats Felis on his newfound takeover, she gives him a gentle nudge on the shoulder with her head before letting him take his moment with the young cub. Horizon does question where the other leader went originally, almost refusing to talk about her pelt before he mentions his own experience. Suddenly she seems very comfortable again, Felis even convincing her to come out for a drink of water! As he goes to leave, Nephthys pauses him, giving him gentle advice on how to handle the otherworldly, and a blessing for his safe travels. (@Daimas your tickets been counted!! Also I think you might be the closest to knowing what the fur changing is a reference too!!)

The cub puffs up with pride at the compliment, and Nephthys seems shocked that another lion seems to know what she’s referring too! (@Wally. Your tickets been counted! And you’re not too late! :D)

Horizon seems very excited to see the king, and takes his words to heart, nodding to him and letting him know that she’s SUPER strong! And she’ll be sure to keep training so she can be even stronger and fight EVERYONE. Well.. hopefully not everyone. Nephthys thanks him with a laugh as he leaves! (@Turkey, your tickets been counted!)

Nephthys thanks Oil immensely for his help, and as he leaves he can see Horizon excitedly telling her broodmother about the ride, she definitely doesn’t look happy. Oh no. Welp! That’s a problem for tomorrow. The good news is it seems very clear that Horizon took the conversation to heart, she’s got pride in her walk as she moves to and from each lion! (@Zhāng your ticket has been counted!!)

Horizon seems incredibly thankful by the time they were all gone, all that were left were the king and queens that she knew, and she felt safe coming out. She stays with N’Kai a little while longer, hiding against him. She looks tired before finally speaking. “Thank you.” She squeaks. “They’re kinda creepy, everyone else I met has been so nice… they scared me.” After a while Nephthys gets the rest of the crazed leads out of the area, leaving those she deems worthy, she thanks V’kia immensely as she leads Horizon to her broodmother. Horizon plays for a while, but she eventually gets tired, thanking him for his time and leaving! (@Lilpeep your tickets been counted!,)

Keii cocks his head. "Woah. Another one? That's pretty cool." he smiles, showing off his glistening teeth. "I'll be over at Horizon if you need tabs on me." Soon after, he pads off, presumably to the small cub. "Hey! How's it going? Are you tired from climbing? I've brought a small thing, cause your broodmother said you've been training." He drops the slightly larger than average meercat at her feet, grinning proudly as he does so. "Caught it myself." He puff up like it was his first kill, and gives a chuckle. (A second cub sounds wonderful! However, please only do it if you'd like.)

Mandaña beems at the news of a new cub, happy for the pride and it's mother. "How wonderful to hear! And trust me, I understand wanting to keep your child safe. To respect your wishes, I'll keep myself and Horizon in clear view to you." Mandaba bows his head and starts to head over to the tree Horizon is climbing in.

Looking up into the canopy, Mandaña can't help but smile at the sight of leaves falling due to Horizons best efforts to climb. Spotting her on a branch, Mandaba sits directly underneath her. "Make sure you hold on tight up there. It's all about claws and grip!" He holds up his paws and flexes his claws as an example.

Ushanma came and brought some of his cubs in hopes to lighten the little raffle cubs mood.
His cubs tried playing with the little cub and they had lots of fun. Ushanma was happy to see the cubs bind with this little one. “I hope you didn’t mind me bringing them over, I just thought she’d get lonely.” Ushanma said his goodbyes and hoped they had a wonderful day

Feliz pads over and bows respectfully to Harvest, Dropping a tied-up pile of bedding material at her paws-

"Hello Milady. I hope we are not causing you too much of a disservice by our continued visits. When my pride found out that I was coming to visit Horizon again they scolded me for going to leave without bringing you anything. They helped me tie up a bundle of bedding materials to refresh your nest as well as some toys to keep all the cubs entertained." -he blushes sheepishly- "I'm still learning the proper etiquette of being a ruler."

walking over to the Tree Horizon is in he sits and watches her practice her climbing, keeping a bit away from the tree but close enough that if she falls, he can dive, and she will land on him instead of the hard ground. he waits patiently to see if she chooses to talk to him, not wanting to break her concentration as she climbs-

dustystar didnt seem too pleased at the broodmother's quick irritation, but couldnt help feel slight sympathy as well- he had cubs of his own, and understood their ever growing excitement could often be tiring. he chuckled slightly at the she-lions warning, flicking an ear as his eyes glimmered. "don't worry, i ttrust you to keep me in check, no shenanigans while youre around." he approached the training area, picking up a feather along the way, and looked down at the cub in greeting. "hello, horizon- it's a pleasure to finally speak."

“ Another adorable cub has been blessed in this pride how marvelous!”Tide gave her a grin before moving to the side slightly to reveal red and orange primal cub that she had brought along,” H-Hello my name’s nightmare..” the little cub stuttered hiding behind the Elders leg.
Tide gently nudged the cub forward,”I actually brought This little one here to help out with Horizon’s training or to at least join in she’s is a bit shy however were hoping To have her become more social..” she sighed softly chuckling when Nightmare squeaked in surprise as horizon greeted her in excitement noticing that the laters fur was also changing colors to have onyx patches,” Oh and here i brought the candles as well as a snack!”.
After a bit Tide and Harvest slowly slipped into conversation as the cubs practiced. After sometime nightmare and horizon became tired. Nightmare wobbled to tide and flopped on her paws tiredly,” Seems that it’s time for us to leave take care and have a nice afternoon !” She said before giving a polite bow then picking the cub up by its scruff and taking them back home for some rest.

Approaching the Harvest, he tries to make some small talk with the brood mother, "Another special cub? It seems your pride is quiet blessed, not everyone can have such special cubs in such a short time. Terribly sorry if the ride I gave Horizon yesterday offended you, I just wanted to help her out a little in the way I know how." He bows his head down with an apology, "If you need me I'll be over by the cubs, it seems my little has already run off to meet her friend haha." He waves goodbye to Harvest and starts walking in over to the cubs, they're both trying to see who can climb up the tree first. He lays down watching to see who climbs up the tree first, it seems Horizon has come out victorious and is now celebrating her win along with Iris. 'Such good friends they are', thought Oil, 'I wonder if they'll be as good of friends when they're adults as they are now.' After about 2 hours both the cubs finally seem tired out, that's the cue to leave. "Come Iris, say goodbye, we have to go now. I hope you have a great day Harvest, Horizon is well tired out now so I belief she will be taking a nap soon, farewell!"
