My suggestion was added in latest development update and honestly, I dont really care to be credited? All that matters is other people who supported that suggestion, thanks to whom it was added and made the game more convenient for everyone. Its really more than just about who suggests it first... its about the overall supports of ALL people that made it get considered.

So... no support, sorry. Making game better with your good ideas is not about being listed in the news. Its about the idea itself. Not about the credit.

I totally understand, but some people do want to be credited. People who do things for Lioden should sometimes be known. And I totally get your side, and THANK YOU FOR ACTUALLY GIVING ME CRITISCMS.

Support. I do understand @Mad Hyena's point but like. . . it's just simple. It's not even that hard to say "hey, (user) did this suggestion! thank you!"

I understand you feel the need to be credited, but think about this - nothing is better credit to you than Knowing you suggested it.

For instance. Did you know it was me who suggested the entire Battle Beetles idea? It was my original suggestion, I worked with Xylax over Skype to help developing it, etc. But even if listed in the news - its a part of the game by now, nobody by now pays attention who originally suggested it, even if it was listed in the news post back in the day! AND without the support of other users it would never have made it to the point where it was considered - so its NOt just my idea that mattered, but the support of other players given to it. If nobody liked the idea, it would have still sit in the Suggestion forums with 1 support hit and never get a chance to be implemented. Whoever suggests the idea first, does not matter as much as how many other users support it to make that idea possible.

The best credit is that your idea makes it into a game, THAT is the best credit there can be. The mention in the news, optional, really. The greatest legacy there can be is idea being implemented in a game.

Sadly all I can say is - if you want fame and glory for your ideas... suggestion boards is not for you. Suggestion boards is for people looking to improve the game, not to get praised. It was the admins' own decision to sometimes mention users in the News post, and that bites them back now unfortunately. Suggestion boards were NEVER about being mentioned in the news, you guys are misunderstanding it.

My comment is directed to people upset about not being mentioned in the news! And that is why I dont support.
It doesnt really matter WHO came up with which idea, as long as the idea makes it into the game, ALL users benefit from it. Making suggestions is about making the game better/more comfortable/more steamlined, for yourself and for everyone else. Its not about being featured in the news. And a big part of suggestions is other users supporting it, so its not like its just your own personal achievement it got added - its of all people who supported it, also.

I personally delete all my suggestion topics as soon as they get added to the game. Because Im not in here for fame - Im in here for making the game better, for myself too, not just for other users! And once its implemented, the topic is no longer needed, it just takes space. Another new idea could take its space instead.

The only reason I don’t support is that I don’t think that they left out credit for malicious intent at all! In this update there were THIRTY TWO new features added or features changed. Any of them might have been suggested more than once, suggested after devs were already planning on adding the feature, or just buried in the pages and pages of development suggestions.

EDIT: This is only about small update features, I 100% think that anyone who draws up base/marking/eye/skin/mane ideas needs to be credited!

I agree with @Adam here. In contrast with user-suggested bases, which are all individually unique and on top of that have user-designed artwork (which would be art theft if it wasn’t credited), most QOL suggestions are suggested by a large amount of people multiple times and can’t really be attributed to just one person imo?
Also, I’ve had some of my achievement suggestions added to the game. Mostly I’m just happy to see my ideas in the game; I don’t care as much about whether my name appears in a news post or not. I know it was my suggestion anyway c:

I support. The devs did NOT come up with these ideas on their own, in fact, a lot of the stuff mentioned was mentioned to Abbey explicitly in main chat when she asked last week.
It's disingenuous to take full credit for this without at least mentioning that they were user suggestions, even if they don't want to link the exact user. The stuff that Lioden staff DID come up with that weren't already suggestions are honestly almost atrocious, such as changing the price of an item that has been at that price since it was added, changing the den page. People are thanking the devs for ideas that were not theirs. Sure, they did it, but if it weren't for users making the suggestions, who's to say any of these changes would have actually happened?

They also didn't originally credit the user who suggested the Spice Marking Color and the Roan Recolors in the last Development Update, meaning most people who saw it didn't actually know it was a user suggestion and assumed staff made it. I worry about the precedent this is setting.
