Pride Lore

Many moons ago, a fierce king ruled these lands. His reign was mighty, and nobody dared to oppose him. One day in early March, the king had fallen. His blood ran through the rivers, fueling the land around him to grow into lush terrain. This king had no offspring, but one daughter he called his own. Eclipse'Sight. She had taken the throne in his place, watching over this new lush forest in his honor. She vowed that her pride would never be let down, creating a line of worthy children that would take her place someday, and then on forever. In hopes to keep her pride safe, she rallied a group of jaguars, that would guard the forest from outsiders. With their new queen, the pride was renamed "The Fallen Moon Pride." This pride would go on to be secluded in the thick woods, having an unusual tradition of being ruled by a queen.
