Njau simply fell to the side and crushed the smaller male, rolling quickly to his feet and grabbing Makoto by the scruff before giving him a hard shake. His shoulder stung, but it was not the worst injury he'd ever gotten. And definitely not the last. He held fast onto the flesh in his maw, muscular neck tossing the form in his grasp side to side like a toy.

Kivuli finally came up beside Donnie, silent on his paws, like a moving shadow. He sat down beside the dwarfed male, curling his tail up beside himself. "Enjoying the show?" He asked in a smooth, silky voice, venom just behind those gleaming, grinning fangs.

Makoto
He wimpered in fear and pain as he felt his flesh being ripped off his body. He tried to grab the bigger male's chest and dig his claws in, but he could never reach it close enough. He started coughing up blood that fell to the floor violently being spilled everywhere.

Donnie
I squeaked as the dark male got beside me. I wasnt even able to speak, i could barely throw myself into the floor and started crying in silent. -Please dont kill me...- i begged at his paws.

Njau dropped the cocky male to the ground and pinned him in place with a massive paw. He put his muzzle right against Makoto's ear before he spoke. "Younger doesn't mean stronger. I am claiming this watering hole. Understood?" A constant growl was present in his voice, a dominant and commanding tone that declared him to be the ruler of all he saw.

Kivuli chuckled cruelly. "Kill you? What would be the fun in that?" He frowned as he saw his brother fall, but not out of worry or sadness. It was purely disappointment. "And he was so sure of himself..." The Onyx male said before getting to his paws once more, approaching Njau with pure confidence. "Is that what this nonsense is about? The watering hole? We aren't even staying here, simply passing through on our way to a business transaction." His voice was silky and calm. "You could have just asked." He moved like a blur, ramming his head just under the much larger male's front leg, striking a pressure point that made Njau momentarily freeze. Snatching Makoto up and across his shoulders, he turned around and began to walk away. "Come, Makoto. We're going to be late. And you two... we will be back through this way. And next time... you'll be facing against me."

Donnie
I stood quiet on the ground. still crouched, as i saw both males leading away. I slowly walked to Njau, who was still seemingly frozen. -S-Senpai?- I squeaked. -I...im sorry...- i said with tears still rolling down my eyes. It took me all i had not to start crying again.

Makoto
The young male pante heavily trying to catch air. Blood still pured out of his muzzle, as he had been just a claw-length away from drowning in his own blood. Yet he didnt speak. Fear consumed him in the thought of what his brother would do to him as soon as he knew he was still conscious. And of course he didnt want to make him angrier than he already was.

He loved his brother so much, he had told him so, but Kivuli had mistaken affectionate love with fraternal love, maybe that was the reason to all his hate towards the red male.

Njau glared down at Donnie, snorting at the young male. "It's obvious you can't fight. Why did you even try? You let your emotions control you, and it could have gotten you killed." He rolled his shoulder to relieve some of the tension from the Onyx male's attack, and turned to the water's edge to drink. "Next time, stay out of it. I'm not going to keep saving you, you know."

Kivuli padded toward a towering shape on the horizon, a massive termite mound surrounded by bones, feathers and shiny objects. Letting out a long roar to announce his presence, he dropped Makoto onto the ground beneath a tree. "Open your eyes. If that Aardwolf thinks you're dead she'll strip your corpse for parts." He sat down and glared at the other male with toxic green eyes, face devoid of emotion.

Arty lifted her head, awake in a heartbeat. "He's here. Izzi, wake up! He's here!" She poked the big lion in the side before crawling over his body and out of the den. Shaking the dust from her fur, she gave herself a quick grooming, and then was off like a shot up to the top of the mound. There, in a secret hole that couldn't be seen from below, she extracted a large leather pouch and the skull of a brown hyena.

Donnie
-Y-Yes Senpai.- i padded next to him and took a sip. My backbone was still shaking. -Now where are we leading?- I asked.

Makoto
The brute opened one eye and stared at the horizon, then blinked and opened both eyes completely. He streched out and yawned, lick some blood from his paw and stood up, following his brother.

Izzikhumba
The vanilla male opened his eyes and stood up, trying not to crash against the roof. -Huh? Who's here?- He questioned, padding out of the burrow and yawned. Out of the den stood a magnificent black male, his emerald eyes held an amazing glow of power. Khumba froze for a few seconds and looked down, avoiding the larger male's vision. -Uh...Arty?- He squeaked.

Njau shrugged. "Go fetch the rest of that zebra. Once it's finished... we head east." The massive golden male didn't know what lay out that way, or what he was looking for, but it seemed a solid direction. The rising sun would hit their face in the morning and lead them on, being at their back as they grow tired. Hopefully they would come across something worth while.

Arty cleared her throat, mumbling out the corner of her mouth before the black male could get close enough to hear. "Just stay quiet, let me do the talking. He's a very important customer." She straightened up and cast a wide, lovely smile as the pair drew closer. "Greetings, Kivuli! I trust the walk here was pleasant?" She noticed the scent of blood on the breeze, and saw the state of Makoto's fur. She didn't say a word about it.

"As pleasant as can be expected. Next time, we meet at my place." Kivuli said flatly. Sitting at the base of the mound, just a few feet from Izzi, he untied the leaver pouch from his side and set it on the ground. "The agreed payment. Five hundred Silver Beetles and a bauble from the humans. I think you'll find it to your liking." He cast a smile of his own, smaller than hers but dripping with charm and venom. The aardwolf slid down the side of the mound, pouch in her jaws and skull balanced on her tail so as not to damage it. She set then both down, but placed a dainty paw atop them both.

Donnie
-Ok- I replied as i led back to where the zebra meat stood still (DUH, its dead). I grabbed it and sped up to catch on Njau's stepping. Watching him walk this close to me was going to make me burst into flames.

Makoto
Makoto still panted. His injuries still burned into his skin, but he couldnt complain. Instead he headed straight into the termite mound and circled it, looking for some shade. He laid down somewhere behind it and tried to forget everything about what he was doing in there. An echoing "Hey" called his attention and he raised his head, seing a pale shadow in front of him.

Izzikhumba
-Hey.- He said to the larger male in front of him. Khumba was a curious cub, he had always been and he just thought this particular fella was interesting enough to follow. -You ok, dude?- He asked with just a bit of worry. He smiled when he saw the mahogany male look at him, a spark of light shone in Makoto's green, bright eyes.

((hey would you mind roleplaying Makoto just for this scene? i dont find it too interesting having a chat with myself XD we can leave Donnie and Njau apart just for now))

Njau led Donnie and the carcass to a shady spot to rest, deciding to eat more of the zebra now that he had worked off some energy. Whenever he got a large prey animal, he did nothing but eat and rest until it was finished with it. Thinking on it, that tactic probably helped him grow to the size he was now.

Kivuli opened his satchel to show the writhing beetles, and deep at the bottom lay an item like nothing found in the desert world they lived in. A large black paw plucked it from the sea of silver bodies, holding it up to show it off. It was a necklace made of red and white bottle caps, shiny and strange. He could just make out the masterfully concealed interest in the aardwolf's face.

"That is certainly interesting." Arty stated smoothly, and opened up her own satchel, identical to the lion's. They always traded the same two satchels back and forth, with the only difference being the treasures inside. "The entire, intact skeletons of three large rabbits. All you have to do is stick them back together with sap." She could see the greedy gleam in the male's emerald eyes, and knew he liked her offering. "I even marked the ends of the bones to separate the individuals. Red, blue and green dye."

((I don't know if I could do a character that isn't mine... I mean, I'm RPing with myself right now. It won't be for too too long.))

Donnie
I laid down on my paws with a smile as i watched Njau eating, i still couldnt believe i was this close to him. It was so amazing. Watching him so closely, taking notice of how his mucles moved in an oh so very detailed way, i was practically in a dreamland.

Izzi and Makoto
The vanilla male yawned as he waited for the other male to respond, wich he shortly did. "Peh, not your bussiness" he gruffed with an annoyed glare at the other adolescent. He instead took to looking back at his brother and the Aardwolf, quite interested in what they were doing more than this lion's chat
