Hey guys! So I've endeavoured to start off the new year by improving on my art skills, and I thought a good way to do that might be to draw some Pokemon! Pokemon come in a wide range of shapes and colours, with so many different animal/creature bases to work with. They're definitely good for practice in drawing different animals :D Thing is, I haven't really been into Pokemon since I was a kid, so I'm not really up to date with all the newer Pokemon ^^' So I'm looking for some help! I need some Pokemon suggestions! I've reached out on places like deviantART and tumblr but I don't have much of a following on either of those sites, so I thought maybe the members of Lioden could help me out! Just try to keep the suggestions down to one per person for now, yeah? I get excited over Pokemon too, but it gets a little hard to keep track of 100 different suggestions XD It's worth noting that I'm not super great at drawing machine type creatures, so let's try and stick with biological animal types for now ^^ Currently Working On: 1. Latias 2. Lugia 3. Charmander Suggested Pokemon: Murkrow (and Shiny) Shiny Umbreon Lairon Noivern Goodra Mew Greninja Tauros Raichu Lickitung Mightyena Having Difficulty With: Charizard X Persian (just the pose, I should be able to fix this later)  0 players like this post! Holy guacamole! You have a fantastic style. Those smooth lines and the stunning eyes - I love it so much, haha. (and yay for pokemon! I'm not a huuge fan (not for the newer ones, anyway), but I've had the (older) games for ages; I love playing every now and again.) If you're okay with it - it's no problem if you decline, of course - would you mind adding Jolteon to your list? It's been my favorite (tied now with Typhlosion) for a long time; I would love to see it in your lovely style. But, as I said, it's more than okay should you choose not to. Thank you for sharing! I'm just gonna hang around a bit, and stare at the pretty work a little longer, haha. @Mots~ Sure thing :3 Lioden's taught me a lot about drawing felines, so I've sort of come to actually enjoy it now hehe. @Robert~ Ahh, thank you so much! I'm super glad you like my style! :D I have OCD something terrible, so if my lines are anything but smooth it drives me crazy XD I'm not really super into it anymore either, Pokemon was in its prime when I was a kid so I enjoyed it then, but when it came to the card games I ended up growing into Yugioh more lol. But even though I don't really play the games or watch the show anymore, a lot of the new Pokemon designs are really interesting! That's a really hard choice.. I've recently taken a liking to Pyroar, and I've always liked Rayquaza too. But in my younger days, Raikou was always my favourite <3 (No worries, I'll add Jolteon to the list as well once I get to it :3 I've got a soft spot for the Eeveelutions too hehe) 0 players like this post! I never collected any of the Pokemon cards. Yugioh - oh man, haha. I have a stupid collection of those cards stashed away somewhere, haha. I collected them for fun, watched the show whenever it was on, but never learned to play it seriously. Geez, you took me back, haha. What a time. (I love your lion by the way! I haven't watched the abridged version yet, but I totally see who he's based on. Fantastic work!) Pyroar is a new one for me since I don't keep up with the later ones, but out of curiosity, I'm going to check it out. The other two you listed, I've probably drawn once in my life, haha. Your thread has me itching to give them a try though, that's for sure! I'm going to see if my hand is feeling well enough to give this a go. :D And thank you so much! <3 This is for you! :D My apologies if the messy look isn't your taste. I was trying to be quick (it's 2AM now), and I kind of liked how it was looking, so I figured I'd roll with it. I've never drawn Pyroar before, but this was fun, haha.
