James watched her for a moment, before eventually nodding, and pushing the doors open. The vast table in the room was only occupied by a small group, the king and queen, and the suitors, chatting rather loudly, the otherwise empty room, except for servants milling around and doing their jobs, not helping, since there was an echo. James led the way to the table, where he, and Radia, were greeted by the group, the suitors on one side of the table, the king at the head of it, and the Queen on the other side, where James and and Radia would probably sit, too.
All of the suitors were his cousins, Trevor, the drunk one, was a bit shorter than James, but a bit bigger in terms of weight, with equal muscle and fat, and a bit of a beer belly. Older than James, too. Clearly, he was drunk already. A rather ugly man sat next to him, who was very thin, in a sickly way, which didn't help his looks much, at all, and his name was David. The other, Ryan, sat stiffly in his seat, his arms crossed over his chest, looking like he did not want to be there. Compared to David, Ryan and Trevor looked at least better than him, and Ryan was probably the most sober one.
James simply nodded at them, moving to pull out Radia's seat for her, pushing it in when she sat down, soon doing the same. "What's your name again?" Trevor asked her, slurring his words a bit, as was common for him.

Radia froze for a moment, looking around the room. It took her a moment to regain her senses and follow after James. She sat in the chair he had pulled out for her, looking around the table and studying the occupants. She could guess which one was which-- the drunkard, the ugly, and the obnoxious. Now, she would need to get names. She waited a moment before responding to the drunkards question, looking him up and down once before choosing her words. "Radia," Maybe going with the drunk wasn't such a good idea. She noticed his choice of words, again. She didn't remember giving her name to anyone. "I don't think I've ever had the opportunity of hearing yours, though." She looked at each one, keeping her gaze light, though her heart was beating a million miles a minute. "Any of yours, actually." She gave a small smile.

James seemed to ignore his cousins almost entirely, only paying attention long enough to hear Radia's name, as he didn't know it before. Then, he simply engaged in small talk, with his mother, mostly, only really speaking to his father if he had to. Trevor nodded, with a sort of lazy smile on his face, pausing to take a quick swig of his drink, before he spoke again. "I'm Trevor, he's David, and that one's Ryan." He said, still slurring his words a bit, gesturing at each of the others as he mentioned them, Ryan seeming to ignore him, in particular.

This isn't so bad. Radia thought. Trevor seemed to be the only one who wanted to talk. Radia glanced over at James who had been studiously talking to his mother. Radia wondered if James was overexaggerating on purpose. Maybe he'd just wanted to scare her. She returned her attention to the three suitors. "So, you're unmarried royals, looking to steal a wife?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. She got a glare from the one on the end-- Ryan, his name was. Trevor seemed to be lost in his newly found drink, and David... Radia didn't know if he had any emotions. If he did, they all seemed the same. She tapped her dress, over her thigh, under the table, feeling a bit awkward. "So... you're all related, you're all royal, what types of magic can you do?" She asked, trying not to sound too interested.

James glanced at Radia, when she did the same to him, waiting, for something to happen, because he was certain that something would. Especially once Trevor got a few more drinks in him. "Water magic, kinda like James over there, just, less ice, I guess." Trevor responded, with a dismissive hand motion in James' direction. "Can't turn water into wine, though, and believe me, I've tried, so many times.." He said, rather wistfully, clearly a bit bitter, that he couldn't. "I don't pay attention to what they do, though.." He added, with another motion at Ryan and David, Ryan glaring at him for that.

Radia forced a light laugh. "Too bad you can't turn it into wine. I'm sure you need more." She subtly jabbed, keeping her tone light, hoping he didn't see the underlying sarcasm. She glanced over at the other two boys. So, one had water magic. She wondered what the other two had, if they would prove useful or not. Trevor probably wouldn't be useful. James could easily over power him, and James knew Radia's intentions of escape. Radia would need to look into the other two. "So, how about you two? Water, ice? Do those run in the family, or do you two have something new?"

(ah, i dunno, i didn't put much thought into these guys, lol. eh, david can like, have some kind of disguise magic, somewhat like radias, because he's pretty ugly and would like to hide it? and maybe ryan has some kinda poison stuff because of his personality?)

Trevor nodded slightly, as he finished up his current drink, making a servant get him some more, making James slightly fear for the fate of their wine cellars, honestly. He didn't drink much himself, but it was still a bit worrying. Trevor merely glanced in the direction of his cousins, barely remembering what they could do, other than James' magic, he couldn't quite remember what their magic was. He didn't seem to care much about that, though.

Radia waited for them to respond. David spoke first. "I can make people see whatever I want them to see, as long as I have come in contact with them once." Radia felt herself lean away from him slightly. Their magic was similar, but his had to be stronger than hers, and she did not want to be trapped in someone else's illusion.

"How... Nice." She tried, giving a small smile. She turned to Ryan, who seemed to still be in a pissy mood. "And you?" She asked.

"I can turn any liquid to poison." He answered. Radia thought she saw a glare in Trevor's direction, but she wasn't sure. If happened so fast. Radia wondered if he would actually poison his cousin.

Trevor merely glanced at his cousins when they spoke, not particularly interested, and not seeming to notice what could be considered a quick glare and threat, from Ryan. He probably would forget what their magic was, within minutes, too. Maybe assume that Ryan said wine, and not poison. It wouldn't be too strange, for him to do that.

James seemed to ignore them, as well, simply continuing to speak with his mother in a hushed voice, so the others wouldn't hear as much of their conversation, since it was about his cousins, mostly. He glanced up briefly, when he noticed the servants starting to bring out the food.

Radia was about to inquire further questions, but was interrupted by the servants coming in with food. She decided to stay quiet, seeing as the rest of the table had also quieted. She watched as the servants put the food down and uncovered them. There was so much... Enough to feed at least three full families. Another reason to hate the royals. People starved while the royals feasted at every meal. She kept her mouth shut, keeping her thoughts to herself as she silently glared at the food.

Trevor, as soon as they'd brought out all the food, immediately started digging in, probably with less manners than what was expected of a royal, and far sloppier. The alcohol didn't help with that, either, since that was common behavior for him, anyways. James glanced at Radia briefly, noting her glare, assuming she was a bit upset about the abundance of food they had, while the commoners had very little. Usually, they didn't even give the leftovers to the servants, if anything, and ended up wasting a lot of it, but it was his parent's decision. A few servants had been caught taking some food, from the leftovers, before, and it did not end well for them, at all.

Radia watches as David's face comforts into pure joy as the food was set down. Or, at least, it should have been joy. She couldn't accurately tell. Radia looked around the table, chewing on her lower lip, and studdying each person. "Let's feast!" David said, quite loudly. He looked like he hadn't eaten in days, and yet... Radia didn't know she was staring until he looked up at her and winked. She gave a weak smile and adverted her gaze. Trevor seemed to keep getting more and more drunk. Radia wished she could do the same. The dinner wasn't obnoxious. It was just... unpleasant.

((Tbh, I have no idea how I'd play Ryan. Idk, I just don't understand his personality >.< ))

James made a soft noise, similar to a growl, when David spoke rather loudly, since it was totally unnecessary. Trevor didn't seem to mind his volume, focusing solely on his food and drink, or already, he was just too drunk to really notice. Maybe both. Ryan, on the other hand, seemed even more annoyed than James did, very tempted to poison his drink, his cousin already getting on his nerves. Though, it wasn't hard for anyone to annoy him, so quickly. "Be quiet, and eat your food. Or don't yell. I'd prefer the quiet, though." He ordered his cousin, rather rudely.

Radia noted that all the servants had disappeared. The room seemed extremely large now, the table only taking up a small part of it. She internally flinched at his tone, not expecting it. She was suddenly reminded of his power, ice, and how much he did resemble it. She'd forgotten... She couldn't think about that now. She had to deal with this dinner.

((Sorry it's so short. Having a big of a writer's block.
Also... the dinner is kind of... borning. Maybe if we backtrach slightly, and say that the dining room was actually full. The dinner had two reasons. One, to find her suitor, two, to... Advertise? Or have a family reunion... Or show their wealth...?
Or we can do something else.))

(it's fine. and if be okay with some lesser family members and a couple servant and staff members that are trusted enough by the royals to eat with them)

James gave David another warning glare, Ryan not bother to get involved, himself. He did hear Trevor snicker a bit, though, and James glared slightly at him, too. A few moments later, when he was sure that they wouldn't have any outbursts, like David's whole thing, he started eating, casting small warning looks and glares towards his family, occasionally.
