James couldn't really express how he felt right now. He didn't regret kissing her, not one bit, of course, and he was sure that doing it was right, and he wasn't really doubting that she thought it was right, either. Yet, he couldn't really put how he felt into words, if he tried. He chuckled a bit, at her playful response. "You'd be correct, in assuming that." He replied, in a similar, playful, and joking tone, not moving his hand away from her face.

Radia felt it hit her then. They'd just left a room with her possible future betrothed, and here they were. Her headache had disappeared, but the slight queasyness had returned. She glanced towards her room, and then back at him, not knowing which one she'd rather be with. She decided to stay here, if for just a little longer, before letting him go. She didn't exactly want to be spotted, and rattled out. Radia didn't think that the results would be pleasant at all.

James eventually let his hand fall back to his side, keeping the other on her shoulder however. "If you want to leave, in case someone else shows up, I won't mind, or be mad or anything." He said, with a small, soft smile at her. He almost didn't want to let her go, not after the kiss, but he'd hate to risk someone seeing them, and they'd get in massive trouble for it. He knew her punishment would probably be worse, though.

Radia gave a small shrug. She wondered what his family was thinking, what was taking them so long? She should probably let him get back to them, but... "I'll let you get back, before they," she briefly paused, looking for right word, but it only took a moment. "Worry too much." She gave a small smile, a bit apologetic. But she couldn't just keep him there, it had gotten a bit awkward anyways, though it was nice, she fought between staying with him and going to sleep-- something she needed.

James smiled softly, giving her a small nod of understanding. He knew eventually they'd get suspicious, rather than worried, and probably send someone after them, make sure they weren't doing anything the king and queen disapproved of. Which, kissing a woman, who was technically a prisoner, and not actually betrothed to him, probably fell under said things they disapproved of. "Of course. You get some rest." He said, luckily not attempting to argue. James seemed reluctant to leave her, but he knew it was for the best, so, he turned to walk away, but not before giving her another small kiss, on her cheek this time, then walking away with a somewhat casual wave of goodbye in her direction. That wave, was just in case anyone could see him, that was approaching, sent by his family.

Radia watched as he left, also glancing down the hall in the other direction, wondering if there actually was anyone watching. When he disappeared around the corner, she scurried into her room and shut the door behind her. She leaned her back against the door, and slid down, her knees up to her chest. She wrapped her arm around her knees and then her other arm brought her hand up to her cheek where she cupped it, the place he kissed. She was in slight shock, but now wasn't the time. She had to think of other things now, like his cousins. How was she supposed to escape now? She felt her stomach drop, she really... couldn't escape. She pulled her knees in closer and put her forehead on top, between the tops of her knees. She tried clearing her head, but her thoughts always returned to him.

James got back to the dining hall as quick as he could, taking a moment to relax a bit, make sure they didn't suspect something, by how he acted. And, they didn't seem to, everyone was just finishing their meals. He explained that Radia really didn't feel well, so she'd gone to bed early, and they seemed to accept that excuse, luckily, and his cousins didn't seem to care much, in James' opinion. When they were done, they all left, heading to their quarters, or suite, in the king and queen's case. James was quick to get to his, settling down for the night, thinking of Radia for a bit.

Radia had eventually crawled into bed, after changing, and fallen into darkness. Sleep wrapped around her like a blanket, but no dreams adorned that blanket. When she woke, gentle beams of light filtered through her window, dimmed by being indirect. She sighed, and slowly got up and out of her bed. She went over to the small dresser that held the clothes she arrived in, two more outfits, and would soon hold the nightwear she wore currently. She picked out a pastel green green shirt, and light brown pants. She went to her desk, and picked up her book, but it was hard to focus as she kept thinking of the events of the past night.

James eventually fell asleep, after an hour or two, and he did sleep in for a bit, but that was mostly because nobody came to wake him, tell him he had some morning responsibility, which was often what happened. So, since he had some free time, at least for now, he decided he might as well go and see Radia, maybe see if she wanted to talk about last night. All, of last night, preferably. He got dressed fairly quickly, in clothes that were a bit simpler, a bit more comfortable, than what he typically wore, since he obviously didn't have to dress all fancy, for going to see who the rest of his family interpreted at a mere prisoner, or new addition to the family. Or both. James quickly headed to her room, knocking on the door, in case she was still asleep, or changing or something, glancing around for anyone that he didn't want seeing him there.

Radia had finally gotten into her book when a knock came at her door. She was confused at first, but then a small blossom of hope popped out. Maybe it would be him. She shook her head, trying to clear it as she got up and walked over to the door. She took a deep breath in, and out, and then opened the door. She gave a small smile. "Hello." She opened the door a bit more, inviting him in, though she knew he'd be able to come in whether he wanted to or not. She wondered if he was still training her, though yesterday he had said that he would find a suitable trainer... She didn't know if he'd take her meanwhile, or if he'd dropped it.

James waited patiently for her to open the door, briefly glancing around again, just to be sure. He did hope that if anyone did see them, they'd mind their own business, or assume he was just taking her for training again, though it didn't really go well last time. He brought his attention back to Radia, when she opened the door though, giving her a small, soft smile, soon walking into the room, but only really because she'd invited him in. He could've gone in, without her invitation, but to be honest, he didn't want to be that rude. Not this time, at least. "How'd you sleep?" He asked, seeming genuinely interested, continuing to smile a bit at her.

Radia shut the door behind him, noting his glance around. She wondered how much it worried him, if someone spread any type of rumor. She didn't know what would happen, but he didn't make it look like it would be anything good. "Fine," she answered placidly. A small part nagged at her, why does he only care now? But she ignored it, instead looking out the window and staying quiet. She traded views of looking out the window, to looking at her book on the desk, or rather more into space. Looking outside made her feel like even more of a prisoner.

James watched her carefully, before nodding at her response. Honestly, he was sort of just making conversation there, but he was a bit interested, at least. "Alright." He responded simply, slowly looking away from her, to glance out the window briefly as well, thinking carefully of what else to say, before looking back at her once again. He briefly wondered if she wanted to talk about what they did last night, the kiss, but he chose not to bring it up, just in case. "Would you like to go on a walk? Not for training, of course. Maybe out to our gardens?" He offered, eventually.

Radia look at him, suspiciously, for a moment before lighting up. They have a garden. Radia hadn't thought about going outside to see a garden in.... well, a week. The day they'd taken her. She had just finished with one of the Gomes she had planted a beautiful garden I not too long before. "Going to the gardens sounds wonderful." She answered with a small smile, trying not to let on how pleased she was.

James nodded slightly, giving her a small smile, noticing how pleased she seemed, and he just had to smile at that. "There might be a couple servants there, they're the gardeners, so, watch out for that." He warned, before turning to the door, to walk out, but he waited a moment before doing so, in case she still had something to do, or whatever.
