Radia watched his movements, and waited a moment before following after him to her room. She, again made sure there was some space between them. She absentmindedly followed, leaving herself to her own thoughts. She was somewhat startled when they'd made it to her room, not realising, quite, that it was this close. She stopped a few feet from her door, not completely ready to be confined yet, but eager to get out of this situation. She took a step closer, forgetting to lift her skirt, and stumbled into James. "Ah," he cheeks flamed. She played it out, or tried to, and gave him a small hug. "Th-thanks again."

James glanced back at her from time to time as they walked, making sure she wouldn't try and leave, and also making sure that nobody was following them, either. He was a bit startled, when she stumbled into him, and apparently hugged him, too, more surprised by the hug, though. "You're welcome?" He said rather uncertainly, his hands on her shoulder,s like before.

Radia pulled back, regaining her balance. If she had a shell, she would have hid in it long ago. She pulled back, looking around, making sure no one saw. She, now, more than anything wanted to return into her room. Fall asleep, delve into a book, no, she wanted to get out of these embarrassing clothes. Why'd they need to dress her up? She pushed it aside, she was rambling to herself.

James looked down at her, possibly still processing what she just did. He didn't let go of her shoulders just yet, though he could tell she clearly wanted to get away, but he did hold onto her pretty loosely, so she could leave, if she really wanted to. He also wasn't too sure, why he was still holding onto her, anyways, and carefully considered that, whilst looking down at her, calmly.

Radia felt time slow, like in the stories they always told in the village late at night. But the slower time seemed to go, the faster her heart rate sped up, clearly unaware of the time difference. She didn't move away quite yet, not exactly wanting to. She cursed herself as she found herself looking up into his navy blue eyes. The image of melting ice, again, popped into her head. And maybe he was melting, or maybe Radia had just gotten so used to the cold, any sort of warmth seemed like too much.

James didn't move away yet, either, and he showed no signs that he would. In fact, he even eventually moved his arms, sort of wrapping them around her, like he was holding her, which, he was, but he wasn't too sure why. He figured it was an impulse, or something. He continued looking at her, softly, as his face seemed to inch closer to hers, but it was hardly noticeable.

Radia didn't pull away when his arms more or less wrapped around her. If anything, she herself moved closer, extremely slow, uncertain about where her thoughts had wandered to and brought her. She tilted her head back slightly, looking up at him, their faces inches apart. She could feel his breaths, lightly passing over her.

James blinked at her slowly, seeming to consider some things, for a moment. He wanted to kiss her, and it felt right, to want that, and she seemed to want it too. But, heaven forbid, if anyone saw them, they'd probably tell, and he had no way of knowing what would happen. At least, James was technically a suitor of hers, so it wasn't as bad as it could've been, like if he was kissing a servant or something. He stared, somewhat calmly, at her for a moment longer, before he rather suddenly kissed her.

She was about to pull back and apologize, again, when his lips suddenly met hers. She closed her eyes, and melted on the inside. How could something so wrong... feel so right? Any thought of being seen, at this point, had completely left her thoughts. Or maybe she just didn't care anymore. That was probably it, she didn't care. Her life couldn't possibly get any worse from this point on. Yes, maybe they'd get punished, but she was bound to at sometime sooner or later, why not give them a good reason?

James soon closed his eyes, once he was sure that she didn't seem to want to pull away, slap him or whatever, for doing this. Maybe storm off into her room. He was glad that she didn't, of course, and only continued kissing her, as it just felt so right. His worries, about them being seen, practically disappeared, focusing solely on what was happening right now, making himself not worry about what might happen, in the near future.

After a few moments, sense caught up to Radia, and she pulled back, almost hesitantly. She took in small breaths, her heart pounding faster than ever. She couldn't quite believe what had just happened, much less that it actually happened. Hadn't they been fighting earlier that day? She felt her cheeks flame. She wanted to say something, anything, but words didn't pop up and her lips couldn't form any specific shapes. As if she was still mesmerized. She started, almost, to regret pulling back, but it was too late now.

James was almost a bit surprised when she pulled away, but to be honest, he wasn't terribly shocked that she did, all things considered. He glanced down at the floor, choosing his words carefully, before looking back up at her. "I'm sorry, I just.. If that was too weird or sudden, I'm sorry.." He trailed off, speaking quietly, anyways. He wasn't sure what he could say, really. He was hoping, that she at least wasn't mad at him for it, since he did enjoy the kiss, himself.

Radia looked down at the ground, and then back up at him. "N-no!" She answered, quietly. She gave a small smile. "It's fine, you don't need to apologize." Radia wondered what would happen now. She wondered if he actually meant it, or if he was playing with her and would discard the memory the next day, as if nothing happened. She hoped he didn't, and that it was something he meant.

James seemed a bit relieved by her answer, and glanced around, making sure nobody had seen them, before looking back at her, smiling softly. "Well, good.. I never was great with apologies, honestly." He said, somewhat jokingly. Perhaps out of an impulse, he reached a hand out, to lightly hold and softly caress her cheek, his other hand seeming to linger on her shoulder.

Radia had just kissed a prince. And not any prince, but the prince. And he'd kissed her. She followed his gaze, looking for anyone who might have spotted them, but no one seemed to be in sight. She'd been slightly startled when she turned her head to look at him that his hand had met her cheek. It wasn't a bad startle, more of just surprised. It seemed to, if anything, calm her nerves somewhat. She gave a small smile. "I don't see that as a trait that would come easily to you." She responded, playfully.
