Raz followed in silence, thankful that she wasn't being pushed or pulled anymore. The Prince seemed to want to rush through everything, getting to the castle, greeting his parents, throwing Raz into her room to rot. When they got to the room, Raz gave a once over, looking at the small quarters, bare walls, lack of furnature. "Wow. You guys know how to woe a captive. This is high end for a prisoner-who-isn't-actually-a-prisoner, right?" She asks, raising an eyebrow. Thoughts betraying her tone of voice, Raz was just thankful for a bed. She just wanted to crash and fall asleep for days and days to come. She turned slightly, showing her back to the Prince. "Now, when do I get this off?" She asked, wiggling her hands that were still wrapped in rope.

James rolled his eyes slightly, and shrugged just a bit. "I think it's at least better than a cold, dusty dungeon, though." He said, with a small grin, to show he was probably joking, though his tone didn't really convey it, though. He seemed a bit wary, to take the rope off, but he eventually nodded. "Alright, and I'm going to trust that you're not gonna try anything." James said, and to cut the rope off, used his magic to simply create a sharp icicle, which he proceeded to cut the rope with, then simply toss the icicle out the window. "There."

Radia gave a small laugh. "Perhaps." In regards to the dungeon. When the ropes were cut, she brought her hands in front of her, rubbing her wrists. She turned to face him. "So... I'll be staying here... For a while?" She asked. What would she do? She didn't think that she would be able to stay in that room for the rest of her life, or stay in this castle, even. She wouldn't accept being sold off to one of his relatives. She'd sooner run away and face the consequences. She did not run away to begin with just to be trapped again. She glanced over at the window. She might be able to slip through... It would take some time to actually get through. No. She still needed to figure out the layout of this place before she could actually leave. She looked back at the Prince.

"Yes, you will." James said, nodding a bit. "We'll see what happens, in terms of how soon you get out, or move somewhere else." He replied, glancing out into the hall, thinking for a moment. "There will be guards around, by the way, maybe posted outside your door. Probably with magic, just in case, though." He added, not much of a threat, or he at least didn't intend it to be one. James stepped out of the room, and nodded again, for a moment. "I'll let you get settled in, maybe?" He said.

Move somewhere else. Ice. Radia debated telling him how much he reminded her of ice. She went against. The guards didn't surprise her. She didn't intend to be left completely alone. She knew the Prince was smarter than that. She took another step into the room, looking around. "What's to get settled in to?" She asked, looking back over her shoulder at him. "Will I get to see the rest of the castle?"

((I'm sorry about how short it is, I don't know how to lengthen it any more >.< I don't know when I'll be responding again today. Hopefully at least once or twice more.))

James shrugged, leaning against the wall slightly, grinning just a bit, though. "I don't know, make the bed, or something? Admire the view outside the window, whatever works." He said. James considered her second question, briefly narrowing his eyes at her. "At some point, maybe." He replied, with another shrug.

Radia rolled her eyes. "Make the bed? It looks made to me, unless my standerds are that low." She walked back over to the door and leaned on the door frame. "Am I confined to only this room?" She asks. She looks around it once more. It was so boring... She'd need to spice it up later somehow. That is, of course. if she stayed. She hoped she could leave. But before that, she needed to rest. Maybe she would take advantage of those magic lessons... It would help her escape, being able to control her powers.

James chuckled lightly. "Eh, there's not much to do, so I mean, you might as well, hm? Or just try to, at least." He said, smirking slightly. He thought over the room question, since he really didn't have an answer, himself. "That depends. I think you might get to live, actually, so at some point, you will be meeting some of my relatives and such, so, yes, you won't be in here forever." He said, and shrugged.

"You think I'll get to live?" She asked, tilting her head. A small smile played on her lips. "And why is that?" Improvement. Radia thought to herself. He didn't say if or probably. Of course, meeting his relatives didn't seem like too much fun, going off of what he had said earlier. She did want to meet the knight who had restrained her... She hadn't heard James say his name. Thinking of that, Radia realized he hadn't even asked her of her name, yet. She'd rather keep it that way. Harder to find her when she escaped.

James thought for a moment, briefly narrowing his eyes, as he did. "Well, I don't have an exact reason, myself." He said. "But, I can say that we have any people with your kind of magic, and my family somewhat enjoys bringing new magic, into the family. It's a bit obsessive, if you ask me." James replied, and shrugged.

Radia let that settle in. Bringing new magic into the family. That would never settle on, no matter how much time she would give it. It reminded her why she was there, and assured her not-so-favorite scenario: getting sold or being given away. She didn't let her uneasiness show. "You don't seem to approve. What will you do?" She asked. "When you become king, that is." She added as an after thought. She knew he probably wouldn't do anything even minimal until his father died and he got power, and she wasn't even sure he would use that power to do any good.

James watched her, almost warily, as he thought about her question. Really, he did not have any plans, or hadn't taken the time to think of any. He was sure his father wouldn't die very soon, so James thought he had time, to put it off for a bit, worry about his plans for when he took the throne, later. "Oh, I don't approve of it, because it's forced marriage, and I don't really think that that's very right at all." He said. "But, it's tradition.. Though, as king, I'd try and put an end to it, though. The only commoners marrying royals, would be doing it because they actually want to, if I was in control."

Radia let out a small laugh. "Well, if you went by that last idea, the royals would get a whole lot of commoners at heir steps, wanting a chance at their hand." She gave a lop sided smile. She ran a quick hand through her hair, and looked down.

Maybe James wasn't such a bad royal. He only took her because his parents had threatened him... No. He didn't have to. He could have taken the punishment. Radia knew she was being unfair... But she was never one with fairness. She looked across the room, out the window.

"Well, the public wouldn't know who wasn't already married, I'd make sure of that." James said, with a bit of a shrug. "I mean, the guards can only chase off so many trespassers, all desperate to marry a royal. Might get a tad annoying after a while." He added.

He almost wondered if she was the type to try such a thing, if she wasn't already going to be married of to a royal, anyways. To him, she didn't, but it wasn't like he knew her well, or anything, so, who knew how she'd react? He sighed just a bit to himself, looking out into the hall thoughtfully.

Radia looked back over at him. She tilted her head and her eyebrows raised slightly. "Rumors spread like wildfire. Especially rumors concerning the royals." She pointed at I'm as she said royals, but returned to her side just as quickly. "If I was a royal, I'd want to be able to choose how I live. I wouldn't want to hide behind anyone's protection, either." She kept her gaze on him, almost in challenge, but not exactly. She wanted to see how he would react to her comment, mainly.
