Radia looked out every window they passed until they got to her room- cell- whatever. "Well, I'm sure you have better things to do than entertain a captive with your presence." Radia wanted to go into her room and read. She wanted more insight on the magic book she picked up. Maybe she would learn a few things while reading it. If the king and queen wanted to train her powers, maybe she could surprise them. That sounded like a good plan, that is, if they actually sent her a tutor, which she doubted.

(i feel like they should make james her tutor, kind of? more of a mentor, i guess, so they can interact more, mostly)

James stood by the door, and nodded slightly at her. "Not really, but I'll leave you alone, I suppose." He said, and nodded again. "Tell a servant to get me, if you ever do want to talk, or something." He offered, before turning, and walking away, rather slowly, in case she wanted to say anything else.

Radia nodded. She looked at her door, and then back at him as he started walking away. She took a deep breath and then slid into her room. She went over to the table where the food still sat. It had cooled considerably, but Radia wasn't one to give up a meal. She put her books down and started to eat. When she finished, she went over to her bed and laid down. Her exhaustion from earlier had crashed down on her again, and unconsciousness took over right away, engulfing her in darkness. She didn't dream.

((Yeah, that sounds cool! I lidke that. Want to time skip a week? Like... They haven't talked at all, and then suddenly James is appointed to tutor/mentor her?))

(yeah, sure. im gonna go ahead and skip?)

Initially, James was rather outraged, more so annoyed, when his father told him to help their newest "captive" learn about her powers more, and figure out what she could really do. He frowned, as he walked to her room, not too happy about this, so he walked a bit quickly, wanting to get it over with. He was especially unhappy, since they hadn't even talked in about a week, so he wondered if she developed some kind of hatred for him, or something. Who knew? James sighed irritatedly, as he knocked on the door to her room, though he didn't have to.

Radia had just finished her third book and now had started skimming over the magic book. She likes to think she had learned some stuff, but only a little section was on her type of magic. Most of it was elemental, stuff like that. She startled when a knock came to her door. She groaned and got up. She threw the book on her bed and walked over to the door. She swung it open. "I'm not-" she started but hen stopped, seeing who was at the door. Her cheeks redeemed. "Uhm... Sorry..." She mumbled. His last words to her rang in her head. She wondered if he was mad at her. "Uh, what brings you here?"

James did not look too amused, anyways, and that didn't change when he saw her. "So, I'm told that I'm supposed to teach you, to use your magic. Or be better at it, at least." He said, crossing his arms over his chest. "Kind of being forced to, but my parents figure I have nothing better to do, and they're not wrong." James added, with a sigh. He wasn't irritated at her, so his attitude wasn't really directed at her, more towards his parents, for making him do this.

Radia's eyebrows furrowed slightly. "You're going to help me?" She asked, a bit confused. They mentioned about sending someone to teach her, but she would never imagine it would be him, the Prince. "They're not wrong? No princely duties to attend to? No... Going into town and kidnapping commoners?" She asked with a small lopsided smile. She leaned against the door frame and looked him up and down, as if he'd changed much over the week. Well, he didn't.

James shrugged rather dismissively. "No.. We find commoners with magic through specials means, in towns we suspect of having them, and lately, it's been a bit slow, to say the least." He said. "Another reason why taking commoners is a bad thing, hm? You lose commoners with magic, because of it." James stated, with a small grin. He stepped back a bit, indicating that he wanted to go and get this over with.

"Special means?" Raz asks skeptically. "Never mind," she slightly shakes her head. "I honestly don't want to know." She looked into her room, looking at the two books on the table and the one on her bed. "One sec." She disappeared into her cell and grabbed the three books. She reappeared in the doorway with the books close to her, reluctant to give them up. "I finished these..." She looked down at her books. She tilted her head slightly. "Where will we be going?" She asked.

James nodded slightly, as he started walking, glancing at the books. "We can stop at the library, after, if you want." He offered, before facing forward again, remembering which way to go, and then walking said way. "Training grounds. Just a fancy name for a big, sandy clearing. One that usually features young children fighting each other and sometimes small animals with magic." He said his last sentence in an almost joking tone, with a small grin, too.

Radia hurrefly followed after him, not wanting to fall behind. "That would be nice." She responded to his offer to going to the library. "Sounds dangerous." She said. She caught up and now walked beside him. "Will I ever get my tour of the castle? I mean, it's been a week, and I've made no efforts to escape." No visible efforts, at least. She kept that out, though. She really, genuinely wanted a tour of the castle. From what she had seen, the castle was beautiful, but she'd only seen a small part. Now she wanted to see the rest.

James nodded slowly, as he considered her question. "I'd have to check with my parents about that, but as long as you don't steal, or try to kill anyone or escape, you probably could take a tour of it, I suppose." He said, glancing back at her. 'I'll probably get stuck doing that, too.' He thought, with a small frown, perhaps of disappointment. He'd rather be doing some kind of kingly training, or something, anything but things such as that, tours and training, things he thought someone else should be doing. It just, shouldn't be his responsibility, really, in his opinion.

"Me?" Radia asked innocently, looking up at him and batting her eyelashes. "Kill someone? Escape?" She slightly poured before laughing. "I think they should be more worried about you escaping, or killing someone. You don't look like you enjoy the jobs your parents give you." Radia turned and faced ahead again, keeping pace with him with a little extra skip in her step. Did they really think she would... harm someone? Her magic certainly wouldn't kill anyone. Not what she has learned of it, so far, though. Maybe her magic wasn't fully developed and there are still things she hasn't learned. Like being able to show herself to people as their worst nightmares.

((Low-key really thinking that could be part of her magic. She'd be so scary!))

(it totally should ;0 like her powers develop fully because of the training and she figures out how to do that)

James scoffed lightly at her response. "Okay, maybe not kill someone. How about disguise yourself as a guard, to slip past the rest of the guards and normal people? Would you do that?" He said, briefly narrowing his eyes at her. "I hate the jobs they give me, actually. I could be learning to be a decent king or something, but no. Random jobs that nobody else will do, so they make me do it." Clearly, he was quite bitter about this, and he had to stop himself from going on a total rant about it.

"That's a good idea. I didn't think of that." Radia said with a sly smile. "I wouldn't make it out." Radia imagined how much energy that would take from her. Disguising against the non-magics is easy enough, but she was in the royal palace. Population comprised of magic users. Radia could kill herself trying. "I'll can help you with your being-a-better-king classes. You can't exactly be tutored by someone who has never even been outside of the palace. Honestly, I'm probably your best bet." She pursed her lips. "Lets make a deal. You give me a tour of the castle, a small portion, every lesson, and I help shape you up into a king." She looked over at him, her expression more or less serious. A little hopeful.
