Des - Light - Earth
Des nodded in agreement. "Sure, I'll take care of the tracks." I suppose I can just turn over the earth and make it look like nothing ever happened...It shouldn't be toohard.... Des was just about to walk off as Fellan started speaking again. He tilted his head as he thought. "I don't know exactly when, but it'll probably be on us within the month." He sniffed, his nose wrinkling in distaste at the thought of snow. He hated being cold, and hated the fluffy white mess even more.

Adeline - Dark - Spirit Portals
Addie dipped her head toward Frost. "Thank you. I bet a full stomach will make Wick feel better." I know it'll make me feel better.... She turned and trotted through the forest, twisting between trees just as she had before. She arrived at the camp, and spotted the deer Frost had caught. She walked up to the deer and sat down in front of it, waiting for her companions to show up before digging in.

Frost/Dark/Mist
Frost slunk into the makeshift camp her companions had stayed in for the last few months; though it was far from their first. Even though she was far from the type to settle, she couldn't really stand to be in one place for long periods of time, she was breggining to tire of the seemingly-endless treading from one site to the next. The fae was still young but the constant wandering left her drained and tired.
She practically flopped onto the earth close to Adeline and where Wick would be, with little doubt. Resting her horned head on her front paws, she sighed, taking a few breaths and taking in her surroundings: the trees, the rocks, right down to where the leaves fell signifying the coming of winter were all too familiar. She left the carcass for Wick and Adeline, not being much in the mood for eating.

Kuji/Light/Extase
Kuji shuffled about the nests the three wolves had made, sheltered snuggly behind an outcrop of grotesquely twisted trees, rocks, and roots. He shook himself out if the harness and gently placed it on the forest floor near the base of a tree as he set about the work. He tossed the leaves, twigs, and grasses out of the piles and into more natural-looking groups. He kicked up dirt filter everything to make it look more aged and weathered than it was, the movement from one temporary settlement to the next enabling him to accomplish this job quickly and well.

Fellan/Light/Fire
Fellan nodded as Des half answered her. After they decided to go on and do their own things, she decided to go on and do her own things, too. She headed off into the woods a little ways. Maybe she'd scout a bit, find the safest direction. Or maybe this would be totally useless for them all, and it was just busy work. It was, probably, the latter. She sighed to herself, but kept going, startjng to make a spiral around the camp, catching whiffs of whatever she could. Maybe they'd like to travel towards wherever the most prey had gone. Wherever the wind had decided. Maybe the wind would take them wherever they needed to go. That would be nice.

Wick/Dark/Electricity
Wick, after drying off, followed the scent of Adeline, Frost, and a fresh kill. He took his time, wondering how Adeline would be acting. He didn't think he'd be the same, not because of the fight... It seemed as if what happened was normal. And that sickened him. The dark pack had brainwashed them, every wolf there. Wick was ashamed to say he stayed there for as long as he did. He felt a ghost itch in his rear end, where a scar had been laid. He didn't remember who gave it to him, just that it was a fierce fight and that the wolf on the other end came out worse. Wick shook the thoughts off as his companions scents came upon him. He entered the clearing quietly, avoiding making any loud crunches from leaves. He sat down on the other side of the kill and looked at the two other fea. "We need to move soon. Winter is coming. and this is not an ideal spot to be. It's pretty much in the open, and easy to track. We should probably find a cave... Something to hide our scent in case something unpleasant decides to come after us."

((Soooo sorry this came so late. I know. I'm ashamed in myself. I'm a mess. v.v ))

Frost/Dark/Mist
The she-wolf nodded in agreement with Wick, a sound of confirmation vibrating in her throat. "Indeed. We don't want to be caught here in the snow. It'll only end basly -not just if the pack finds us."
She got up, stretching as the tip of her tail twitched in thought. 'We should follow the prey..' she thought, shaking her coat.
"The question is: when and where?"

Kuji/Light/Extase
Kuji went about doing his deemed job. He was a bit odd compared to the others. He rarely talked unless spoken to and when he was focused, forget any kind of interaction. He saw Des and Fell finish and wander off, probably searching for a good direction. He finished up, making sure every detail was just as if they'd never been there.

(OOC: Short, I know, but I decided to give this a tiny nudge aha)

Adeline - Dark - Spirit Portals
Adeline looked breifly at Wick as he entered the clearing, but soon looked away. She couldn't look at him right now - not after what's she'd done. She looked down at the deer in front of her. She took a small bite of the kill, but not because she was hungry (she had lost her appetite after the fight). It was more of a reason to not have to look at Wick. She quickly ate a few more bites of the kill, nodding along as Wick and Frost spoke. She licked her chops before speaking. "If I were a rabbit, I'd go south. It stays warmer longer there." She paused for a moment, thinking. "But at the same time, the deer go west, deeper into the forest."

Des - Light - Earth
Des retraced their steps and walked back through the woods. With every pawprint he found, he flicked his ear and overturned the ground. Fresh soil took the place of the prints, burying their scent as well. He used his magic to make sure that he didn't leave any new pawprints - the earth held its form underneath him. Before long, he had cleaned the forest of theur tracks. Happy with his work, he trotted back to the clearing.

Fellan/Light/Fire
Fellan finished her hurried search, and finding nothing, she returned to where Kuji perfect I g the area. "So! When are we going to train again?" She asked, trotting up besides him. She was itching to get a good flame out of her, and she would have no problem with it if she was with her pack. There was a water wolf always admonishing her, but at least it meant she couldn't cause permanent damage. "We can't just stay idle, what if something attacks us? You're going to need my help." She flicked him with her tail, a small nudge, a goofy expression on her face, that to her was both seriousness, questioning, and puppy-eyes. Fellan hoped her practicing of the 'puppy-eyes' had paid off, and then he would help train with her, but she also knew that Kuji wasn't the easiest to talk to, being lost in space most of the time. If he didn't help... Maybe she would get Des to help...

Wick/Dark/Electricity
Wick took a large chunk of meat off of the dead deer and started to rip at it. Deer wasn't his favorite, but it was pretty high up there. He swallowed his bite and licked his chops before speaking again. "I'd say follow the deer. Since there is three of us, one or two deer should suffice, while if we followed the rabbits we would need to catch tens a day. Especially in the winter with them not getting their food easily." He took another piece and swallowed. "Anyways, we can survive the winter, we just need to be even more careful of our tracks and such."

Kuji/Light/Extase
The male looked down at the young(er) she-wolf. "Perhaps if we have time we can get some training in before we leave." He said, his ears pricked forward as he continued toward the clearing, waiting for Des. "Let's just wait for Des, then we'll see." He fluffed his fur out, sitting on his snow-white haunches.

Frost/Dark/Water (Mist)
Frost'a tail flicked calmly as she watched, more like listened, to her comrades eat. She thought about everything that had happened over the last few months, and where they were going. She nodded in agreement with the idea of following the deer. She stayed silent, eyes clouded as she remained confused in her own head.

(If you haven't gathered, Frost has some issues lol)

Des - Light - Earth
Des padded into the clearing toward his friends. He couldn't help but chuckle as Kuji fluffed out. He looked just like a rabbit! Des smiled warmly at his companions before sitting down next to Fellan. He flicked an ear as he began to speak. "So, what was it Fellan wanted to do? Train?" Des looked over at the swirled female, feeling his heart drop a little. He understood her want to train - they should stay in shape, and they needed to defend themselves ; ontop of the fact that training felt nice. But.... Des internally shuddered. There was always something about training that made him feel uneasy, though he could never put his paw on it. Perhaps it was the ever-looming fear of someone loosing control.

Adeline - Dark - Spirit Portals
Adeline nodded along as Wick spoke, listening to his reasoning. She finally mustered up the courage to face him. "How do you propose we keep track of our tracks? It's so much harder in the winter, with the snow and such....Man, I really wish one of us could control snow!" She chuckled and took another bite of the deer.

Fellan/Light/Fire
Fellan half pout and fell, laying down, to the ground with her paws stretched out in front of her. She laid her head down on her paws and caught the scent of Des before actually seeing him. Her head popped up and her tail started moving faster. I have an idea! She registered his saddened look towards her, and decided to change it. She ran over to him and tackled him, running into him, over him, and off him. "Of course I want to train! And I have an idea on how to keep it safe!" She wiggled back up to her feet, and faced both Des and Kuji. "Des, why don't you just put up four dirt walls? I'll attack them, Kuji will distract you, and we've all got our training in that way!!" She says, excitedly, looking between both wolves.

Wick/Dark/Electricity
Wick finished his piece of meat and went in for another one, savoring the juices, as if he might not have this again for a long, long time. And maybe he wouldn't. So he better get his fill now. He swallowed a piece before speaking again. "Well, if we are far enough away, then we shouldn't have to conceal our tracks too much. Just wait for a winter storm. And if worse come to worst, then you," he looked over at Adeline. "Can just summon a monster to make more haphazard tracks that lead to everywhere and anywhere." He was about to take another bite, but then paused. "If you're okay with that, that is." His mind flashed back to the fight. She left the pack so there wasn't an alpha, and he imagined himself, right then, acting much like one. He inwardly cursed, not wanting Adeline's wrath again. He stopped down again to get another piece off.

Kuji/Light/Extase
"That's not a half bad idea." He tilted his head, his ear flicking as a snowflake landed on the sensitive fur lining the inside, "But, earthen walls don't attack back, or even move, so overall, they're pretty useless for training purposes." The silvery male stuck his nose on the snow, licking some of it.
"If we were going for skill, training with each other would be best. I do understand your concerns of losing control, but I can deal with that."

Frost/Dark/Mist
"And even when we need to cover our tracks," Frost interjected, "Mist will freeze in this tempurature. I can just breathe over the tracks and they'll be frozen over." The fea's odd accent lilted.
"I'm sure Addie's abilities consume huge amounts of energy. We should wait and use that as a last resort, and only if we are absolutely certain that we are being persued." Her violet eyes flashed toward the end of the sentence.

Des - Light - Earth
Oof. Before Des even knew what was happening, he was on the ground. He blinked, confused, and tried to piece together what just happened. He had seen a rush of white and red fur, and then it was gone. Did..Did Fellan just tackle me? He jumped to his feet and shook humself, sending dust flying. He smiled widely at the young wolf. That lil punk! His excitement slowly died down and he became more serious as he turned to Kuji. Des nodded slowly after hearing everyone speak. "Well...I suppose we do need to stay in shape...." He was still hesitant, though. It still felt.....wrong, in a way. Too much like the ways they had tried to escape. But if they ever caught them... Des shuddered at the thought. I suppose you have to fight fire with fire...Good thing we have Fellan for that. He snorted at his joke, then turned his attention back to his friends. "Where would we go? To train?" he asked with a tilt of his head.

Adeline - Dark - Spirit Portals
Adeline nodded along, listening to her companions. She felt a little nick in her pride as Frost spoke, but the older wolf was right. Summoning did take a lot out of her, as little as Adeline wanted to admit it. But she still wanted to think that she could do it whenever, whenever, without being hindered. She took another bite of the deer, then sat back on her haunches. She licked her lips, finished with her meal. "Well, good thing we have that planned out...We'd be in a lot of trouble if we didn't."

Fellan/Light/Fire
"Well, I was thinking it would be more strengthening exercises rather than... Fighting. Des can strengthen his defense, I guess I'd see how long I can hold fire, how hot, and, Kuji, you could excersice extase, use it on both Des and me." She suggested. She half sat and brought her back paw up to her ear, making a weird face as she itches behind her ear. Once satisfied, she laid down, looking back and forth between both wolves. "If we are to travel together, I think we need to get to know each others powers a bit more."

Wick/Dark/Electricity
Wick continued eating, listening to the two others. "I guess that could work." He agreed, to Frost's suggestion. "But it's not going to be cold enough to turn the most to snow right away. Unless you can cool it down, the most will just melt the snow before freezing over in a half ice half snow form. Which would be fine if the surrounding snow was like that, but if its like the normal puffy stuff, then I don't think it would work quite as well. And if it only freezes over, then you'd need to fill in each seperate paw print track, which will be hard if the snow is deep." He finished his chunk of meat and started cleaning his chops, and sliding his tongue around, cleaning between his teeth. "Our best hope is to keep from traveling after snow. Before a storm would be ideal traveling time, allowing the wind and snow to conceal our tracks."

Kuji/Light/Extase
"That would work." He added, rolling his head so his neck cracked. As for where...he could use his sword to make an area but that would be hard to cover up.
"Wait!" He said suddenly, his ears, head, and tail perking up in excitement. "I remember a clearing not too far from here. We could go there."

Frost/Dark/Mist
A deep chuckle reverberated in the she-wolf's throat. "Well, then, it's a good thing I can control the temperature and chemical makeup, within natural bounds of course." A smile played across her muzzle but didn't meet her eyes. Last time she tried this, it went badly.
