Not somewhere lions would normally go...I know. But hey! Lions aren't usually Jungle creatures either.

Here I'm going to make an argument for an explore zone of Coastline. As far as I know, this has not already been suggested or is in planning already.

We've already got a few explore zones and have some that are being worked on. Here I would suggest having a zone for the Coastline. We have rivers, marshes, deserts, among others. One could argue the Marshland is similar to the coast, but it's not the same. The wildlife and encounters there would differ.

And let's be honest....The Coastline would just be gorgeous.




Some samples of possible encounters:
- Penguin encounter
' Perhaps even Jackass Penguins (with a chance of decor?)
- Whale/dolphin spotted in the distance
- Beached Whale/Dolphin
' Evil/Neutral with taking what you can as food or ignoring
- Finding a seat turtle nest
' Good/Bad/Neutral Karma for Protecting/Eating/Ignoring
- Seals basking:
' Possible interaction with them
' Irritate, Ignore, ?
' Also the opportunity to battle some of them (Multiple or one?)
- Gannets Encounter (They're funny birds. Look them up.)
- Opportunities to find shells
' Possible amusement item or more shell decor
- Sandpipers, the crazy birds constantly running from the water
' Encounter: Perhaps imitate the birds? Hunt the birds? Play with the birds?
- African Ghost Crabs
' Oh, you know this can be a fun encounter!
- Pesky Human Litter
- Human Encounter with them relaxing on the beach
- Fight encounter with Dune Buggy?
- Message in a Bottle Washed Up
' Can you open it?
- Leopard Tortoise


#5838 suggested: "I'd personally prefer the Skeleton Coast(Namibian coast), or at least LD's version of it, and its an actual place lions might live. Just did some reading up on it, and apparently one group call it the "place God made in anger" and another called it "the gates of Hell""

Note: I'm biased towards the more South African coasts above, partly due to the wide variety of animals and possible encounters. However, this is a very neat idea and would love to see it worked in some way.
Possibly the Skeleton Coast could be an encounter exclusive to the Coastline area and for Evil lions? Or as another chance encounter where your lion took a "wrong turn".
