Tallpaw thought for a moment before speaking "I'm confused, why did StarClan decided to told me this instead of Ashleaf?" the apprentice was going in a small rant "I-I'm not even a proper medicine cat yet, I don't understand" his face was full of concentration, the only thing that he could think about was the prophecy 'Ashe rays, what does that mean?' the thought for a second before muttering "I just don't understand"

OOC: There has never been a time when the VVindclan meeting call has been said, so, I made one myself that seemed accurate.

Bowing his head slightly forward, he touched his nose to the apprentice's forehead in a sign of respect. He drew his head away slowly while speaking quietly. "I know you may be confused. You may wonder why you were chosen to give this prophecy to our clan. I do not know. Only Starclan does. But, Tallpaw, I am certain of one thing. VVe will be able to get through this, and I have a feeling you telling me of this message could have just saved our entire clan." A small smile crimped his cheeks. "I will go announce it to the clan to the best of my ability. I'm a little frightened, to be honest." He dipped his head at the apprentice.
As the ashen tom lifted to his feet and squeezed towards the exit of the den, he paused. "Thank you."
VVith that, he padded out and saw the figure of his deputy retreating towards the cracked rock that held the medicine cat den. "Smokestep! How are you? I have some very, very important news to announce to the clan." He called across the camp, a small grin softening his bland features for a moment. The tom flicked a feathery tail at the fae before turning towards Tallrock once more.
VVith as much grace as possible, he ascended to the top of the large boulder in leaping jumps. His claws scrabbled with the slick surface for moments before he found his footing and let his rump fall to a seat. Pearls of aquatic stone scanned the camp. It was a dazzling view at this height. "May all cats old enough to run the moors gather here beneath the Tallstone for a clan meeting!" Strong vocals rippled across the chalky silence of the territory. He awaited for his clan to gather beneath him, tail wrapping around his feet.

Hearing Fogstar's call caused Smokestep to stop, to quickly for her own gait. Tripping forward, the she-cat spun around once more, a look of amusement glinting in her eyes. Apparently it was her day to think of all the wrong things. Twitching her ears in a good natured acknowledgement, she followed Fogstar to the stone, watching as he ascended with practiced ease. For a moment, she watched as the clan stirred into life, from where they rested or shared tongues. Fogstar's summons were not one to be ignored.
With that thought, she continued forward, taking her place slightly raised and facing the clan, but respectfully under her leader. Settling down into a comfortable lay, she tucked her paws, and turned her attention with a pleasant expression upwards, curious what all this was about.

Breezepaw eyes opened when she heard he leader talk, she panicked why didn't she wake up earlier, she quickly walked and sat under the Tallrock, hoping that her mentor wouldn't notice her just walking ou tof the apprentices den, Tallpaw walked out behind of the Tallrock and sat next to Breezepaw he looked more worried than ever, both apprentices waited for the other cats to join them to listen to the leader's word

Meadowpaw, Windclan, Apprentice, mentions - everyone, location - Below tallstone

Meadowpaw trotted a little ways forward, to the edge of the crowd to listen. She looked up curiously at her leader. What was the meeting about? She hoped they'd get to do something cool! Despite being excited, she kept a calm and focused gaze.

Juniperwish, Windclan, Warrior, Mentions - everyone, location - below tallstone

Juniperwish walked over to the clearing and sat down. She neatly curled her tail around her front paws, she hadn't listened to what Tallpaw and her leader talked about, but it must be important if there was a clan meeting. She hoped nothing bad was going to happen. Maybe their was going to be a fox attack or something? No why would the medicine cat apprentice say something the? That made no sense. She just sighed and listened.

Cheetahpaw woke up with a start. Her clanmates were chattering around her making her head spin. Her dream that night had been disturbing, reminding her of the day that her mother had died. Her mothers' sweet scent had filled her nose just as she was roused from the reverie. Arching her back in a long stretch, she ambled into the clearing. Her eyes adjusted to the coming light in the clearing and she made her way down to the other cats. "Good morning everyone!" Cheetahpaw sat down and started to groom her spotted fur, waiting for the deputy to call the patrols.

As Fogstar spoke, Cheetahpaw got up from her position and padded to a seat beside Breezepaw and Tallpaw. Noticing the worried look on Tallpaws face she wondered what this meeting was going to be about. "Hi guys! How are you both this morning?" Cheetahpaw tried to lighten the mood but was cut off when the leader began to speak.

FOGSTAR - leader OF windclan - SEASON: Almost leaf bare - LOCATION: Ontop of Tallstone - MENTIONS: All - TOPIC: Prophecy

As cats gathered beneath him, Fogstar took a deep breath. "Hello, cats of VVindclan. It's a beautiful day to be making these announcements, ay?" He chuckled quietly to himself and hoped that other cats would find the humor in it. A great chill had settled the air and it was biting into his skin, even through his unusually thick pelt.
"First off, just looking over our great clan makes me proud. It seems like we have grown well compared to many moons ago. Our apprentices are shaping up into full members of our clan and the warriors training them are doing a great job. Thank you." He nodded in the general direction of the clan, not looking to single anybody out.
"If any of you smell Shadowclan and think there was a Shadowclan cat in our camp, there was. A strange Shadowclanner came bursting into our territory and invited herself into our home." He paused for a moment and sucked in a deep breath. The stench of the unfamilar washed over him. The intruding feline's scent had yet to wash away. "A quick note: Don't do that. VVe had every right to rip her to pieces. Luckily for her, she wandered into one of the most forgiving clan's sleeping quarters. " He looked into the eyes of all the apprentices one by one, then making eye contact with all the warriors and so on.
"She had a message to tell that she deemed so important that she could not wait for us at our daily border patrols to tell us. Starclan had given them a prophecy." He looked down at Tallpaw and gave the slightest head nod at the apprentice. "Tallpaw also recieved a message. If I can recite this correctly, it goes as the following:
Grass blocked out by ashen rays.
A prey's will of silence on leafless days.
Long of limb, pink in skin.
Revival of the moor shall begin.
Trust once, no avail, trust twice.
No rabbit upon rabbit,
but minnow of thrice."
He took a deep breath and paused for a few moments to let the words wash over his clanmates. "Tallpaw and I are not sure of what it could mean. VVe came to you, VVindclan. VVe both want to hear your opinions on what this message could possibly mean. Thank you."
At the end of his speech the tom slid onto his stomach, neck grinding against the edge of the boulder so that he could be as close as possible to his clan. Frankly, he was too cold to make the travel down the rock and hoped that this leverage would suffice.

With a twitch of her tail, Smokestep was the first to rise to her paws, glancing between the assembled cats and Fogstar. Wearing a far off expression she took when deep in thought, the deputy took a moment before speaking in a slow, thoughful voice.
"Obviously it must be a warning of some kind. Yet, I'm curious. Have the other clans had such prophecies? If Shadowclan is involved, can we be sure the other two are not?" The wind ruffled her smoky fur, and she shook her head as if to clear away the breeze.
"I mean, it must be something bigger than a rough leaf bare, or why would Starclan bother getting involved?"
her amber gaze went from her clanmates, to flicker up to where Fogstar lay as she shrugged her shoulders and rested back onto her haunches, plumy tail wrapping around her paws as she contemplated the words. She wanted to ask why Tallpaw had received the message and not Ashleaf, but she did not want to call the apprentice out in front of his peers.

Cheetahpaw was disturbed by this prophecy. Starclan had not spoken to them in quite a few moons, and when they had it had been to Ashleaf and was positive news. Cheetahpaw felt deep in her bones that this was going to shape Windclan and change everything they had known prior. "What can we do?!?!?" Cheetahpaw yowled to her leader. "Surely this cannot be good news! It sounds as though something is coming to destroy our clan!" Cheetahpaws vision began to blur as fear overtook her. She could not lose any more of her family members, not after her mother's death a couple moons ago. She remembered the day with a pang. The skies were grey, promising a days snow. She had gone out hunting with her mother and a couple other cats and they were scanning the area above the gorge. Suddenly a harsh cry screamed in her ears as an eagle flew straight at her and the other cats. Her mother gave a mighty leap and grabbed the bird as it came close. The bird squawked and threw the she-cat off and into the raging waters below. Cheetahpaw leaped into the waters after her mother, knowing that their chances were slim. She found her mother flung against a rock and grabbed her scruff. She began to paddle toward the shore but was overcome by a crashing wave. Her mother's body thrown from her and the black waters sweeping over her, she began to feel the life going on her. Just as she was heading into the darkness, a head flashed in her vision and teeth grabbed her scruff. Her head broke the surface and she vomited water when they had reached the shore. "Where is my mother?" She whispered as her vision came back.
"I'm sorry little cat" A gray tabby smelling of Riverclan loomed over her "I could not get to her."

The vision ended. Cheetahpaw noticed the other cats looking at her with pity in their eyes and she ran to her den.
(Sorry about the long post, I just wanted you guys to know my character's backstory.)

Meadowpaw, Windclan, Apprentice, mentions - everyone, location - Below tallstone

Meadowpaw noticed the other apprentice looking worried. She remembered when the cat's mom died. It was hard for the poor cat. Meadowpaw couldn't remember her own parents. They'd abandoned her at an early age. Death, or just becoming loners, she didn't know. Meadowpaw wanted to go comfort the sad apprentice and was about to get up to do so but she didn't. What help could Meadowpaw be? She never had a mother to loose, her mentor was the closest thing to a parent for her. Meadowpaw sighed and looked back at her mentor and then her leader wondering what they'd do.

Tallpaw and Breezepaw-9 moons and 8 moons (respectively)-Under Tallstone and Apprentice den (respectively)-Mentions: All

The two apprentices who were close as littlermates looked worriedly at Cheetahpaw, Tallpaw nudged Breezepaw to go after her, he wasn't ready to do anything yet, he still questioned StarClan's desition to give him the prophecy instead of Ashleaf, the younger apprentice went after Cheetahpaw, her paws padded to the apprentice den, meanwhile Tallpaw just sat there, looking up to the sky searching for some kind of answer from StarClan.

Cheetahpaw was panting by the time she entered the apprentice's den. Oh, she was so mouse-brained! What in Starclan had gotten into her? Now she had made a huge scene and obviously frightened some cats further! She went and flopped into her nest, a paw over her face. She was so terribly embarrassed. What had she done???

Breezepaw-8 moons-Apprentice den-Mentions: Cheetahpaw

Breezepaw padded over Cheetahpaw, and she sat besides her, Breezepaw's tail wrapped around Cheetahpaw, and she looked at her in silence, she looked back and looked back at Cheetahpaw "It's going to be ok" she said quietly, trying to light up at least a little the mood.
