"Cheetahpaw, it wasn't you fault, it's nobody's fault" she nuzzled her fellow apprentice and spoke again "I could be warning us of a really bad leafbare, and StarClan's giving us a heads up, so that we're prepared" she told the other apprentice, not wanting to worry over it, but she kept her hopes high, she has never let them down, not even when her mother dissapeared along with Tallpaw's, but she had to be strong, for herself and for her clanmates, she smiled at Cheetahpaw hoping that made her feel better.

Fogstar nodded to Smokestep and was about to speak when an apprentice began to yowl up at him. His jaws once more parted in responce but he was silenced by the scene the young cat was making. Their lithe body was trembling and a distant sheath clouding over their optics. The tom's oculars stared blankly at the fae before she bolted towards one of the rabbit holes that was barely ever used. He assumed she had a nest in there, one of the odd cats that slept cornered in a den instead of under the open sky.
Another appie, Breezepaw; he believed, had ran off to comfort Cheetahpaw. Hm. He turned his attention away and decided it would be best to descend from the boulder and seat his frame next to his clanmates. From there, Fogstar leaped down from the giant rock and plopped down his rump at the front of the crowd.
Finally, he took a deep breath and analyzed quickly what Smokestep said. "I agree. Starclan definetly would not get this involved if leaf-bare was just going to be really tough." He paused for a moment, thinking and smiling lightly. "VVe could not be certain that the other two clans id not receive a message. In fact, if half of us got it, I am almost certain that the others received a message. Frankly, I find it odd that the Shadowclanner came all this way to tell us she had gotten a message from Starclan but did not tell what it was." His eyes scanned over the VVindclanners, looking for any reaction.
"I believe it would be the best course of action to have a clan-wide meeting, an emergency gathering of some sorts. Send out three scouts to wait at the border of all of the three clans and invite them to a meeting at Four Trees. Any thoughts?" He inquired softly. Many times throughout his speech he paused and chewed lightly on his lip.

Cheetahpaw smiled back at her den mate. She was lucky to have such a good friend. "Well, we had better get back out there Breezepaw." Cheetahpaw twisted her ears in order to hear what the tom was saying. "I think Fogstar is saying something about a meeting at Fourtrees with the other clans." Cheetahpaw felt a surge of excitement at meeting the other clans at a time other than the full moon truce. "Cheetahpaw whisked her tail over Breezepaws shoulders in appreciation before heading out into the light.

Meadowpaw twitched her tail excitedly. A gathering! A gathering when it wasn't a full moon! How weird. She had no objections to speak when he asked if they had any thoughts so she just did her best to sit still and be quiet. Though she hoped she got picked to go! Meadowpaw would be fine with staying back if no one else wanted to, she would fine out what happened anyways but.... She really wanted to go!

Juniperwish, WindClan, Warrior, Mentions - everyone, location - Below Tallstone

Juniperwish looked surprised. A gathering when it wasn't full moon? That was weird! She wondered if the other clans would even agree to it. Thunderclan, maybe, and maybe also Riverclan but what about Shadowclan? It would be harder to convince Shadowclan to come. juniperwish stared up at her leader, she didn't speak her thoughts out loud, she knew he could figure things out. He was smart enough to know how the other clans would react.

Smokestep listened to Fogstar's ideas, her gaze on the apprentices who had returned to mingle back into the clan meeting. She was glad to see the closeness in the young cats, it was that unity that would keep them strong in troubled times. Returning her thoughtful gaze back to Fogstar, she nodded her own agreement with his statement, although she paused after a few bobs of her head, looking thoughtful as a new concern crossed her mind.
"I think finding out if the other clans have had similar prophecies is important, but if they haven't, should we still ask them to join in a meeting that doesn't involve them? "
The dreaminess that was usually present in Smokestep's expression faded slightly as her brow furrowed. Fogstar's words on the matter did seem to allude that the whole of the territories were going to be affected by whatever was coming, but she knew they had to be cautious when presenting their potential problems to the rest of the clans, least the get taken advantage of.
"There's still so much mystery behind this." She spoke the last few words rather quietly, before shaking her head to clear the slight distrust of the others from her mind.
"You're right though, Fogstar. That really does seem to be the best way to see. I volunteer to sit the for Thunderclan, if that's alright." She bowed her head slightly to her leader, and settled down with her paws tucking under her chest. Glancing back at the apprentices, she watched Meadowpaw's excitement and she resisted an amused purr. Perhaps she could convince Fogstar to let her bring the young cat along as well, give her some extra training experience.

Fogstar - leader OF windclan - SEASON: Almost leaf bare - LOCATION: Camp, Next to Tallstone - MENTIONS: All, Smokestep. - TOPIC: Prophecy

As Smokestep spoke, Fogstar nodded and listened intensely while his eyes tracked the pair of apprentices coming back to the meeting. He was glad that they were bonded, as cats of a clan should be, and took it as a good sign that they cooperated with and comforted eachother. He turned his gaze back to his deputy. It was a good thing to consider. VVindclan should not be known for wasting other clans' time if this plan is a fluke. As he parted clenched jaws to begin speaking, his optics dropped and he focused on his feet. They were flexing upwards and slacking downwards in repetition, over and over and over while he thought.
"Maybe, the three scouts would be sent out to the clans to see if they had received a message. If they had, they would be invited to the meeting. If not, then the scouts would simply return back, or, give a fair warning? You could go to Thunderclan if you wish, of course. I would never hold back any of my clanmate's desires, especially when it benefits all of us." His voice was rather quiet and soft as he thought outloud. At his ending inquire his eyes rose to meet Smokestep's own as if to ask her opinion silently. He had raised his head just in time to peek at her slight head nod towards him. Honestly, Fogstar was surprised. VVhy be so formal to him? In turn, he dipped his head a tiny bit back. After doing so his ears began to flick and his tail wiggled around his paws.
His stare only lasted a few moments before he looked around to the others in his clan to seek ideas.

Please PM me if you are interested in scouting to inform the other clans of a meeting. It will be mostly first come first serve, with ranks kept in mind. (Meaning, appies may be partnered with warriors if we have both to volunteer and have spare. :) All you will have to do is make a post waiting at the border and inform a patrol about the emergency gathering hosted by VVindclan at Fourtrees, to discuss our prophecies. *hopefully, the other clans will realize and take initiative to not leave our kitties waiting too long haha*

"I think that is a good idea," Cheetahpaw spoke in front of the assembled cats her fur beginning to prick in self-consciousness. She gave her chest fur a couple of embarrassed licks. "It gives us the knowledge that we need and keeps the other clans informed of what we are going to do." Cheetahpaw looked at her paws, her embarrassment ebbing. This clan was her family and she should not be worried about them. They all cared for each other and whatever happened they would stick together to the end.

Tallpaw looked at Fogstar "I could go to ShadowClan if you need me to Fogstar" the tom said firmly, looking at his clanmates, then he quickly added "I can go alone, I know how to take care of myself" he said with confidence dripping from his voice, he got up from where he was seated and waited for Fogstar's response.

NightStar padded into the windclan camp, by herself, a sign of peace. She approached the Wondclan leader gracefully, her green eyes glowing bright. She bowed her head respectfully "Good afternoon, FogStar."

"Well if Tallpaw can go by himself, then I should get to go to Riverclan!!!" Cheetahpaw shouted then quickly realized that she was being really stupid added: "Well...ummm... with my mentor of course..." Cheetahpaws face grew hot when she realized everyone was looking at her, but she lifted her head high in order to not show her embarrassment. "I just think that if anything goes wrong, then I can sprint over here really fast and inform you all." Cheetahpaw looked up to Fogstar, waiting for a response.
