Personality: Ainsley is a pretty face, and she knows it. She's a total flirt and likes to flaunt off just how beautiful she is. She is also very persuasive and has people eating out of her hands, believing whatever she says. Ainsley is nice but can be very seductive. She holds grudges for a long time and absoleutely can't stand being ignored. She has high dreams and is determined to make those dreams and hopes become reality one day. She likes laughing and can be very sarcastic at times though she usually knows when to knock it off.

To say that Ainsley was afraid was the understatement of a century. Tremors of nervous shaking kept racking through her body, shivers running down her spine. So many thoughts were running through her brain, and she began ti worry that she hadn't thought this through as much as she should have. That she should change her mind while she still had the chance, but did she not owe him an explanation. Did he not deserve the truth? She wondered briefly what he would think when he saw her again. Would he even know who she was? It'd been almost three years since he'd last seen her, and so much had changed about her. Her pale skin had finally grown a bit of color. Her cheeks were always pink now. She'd finally let her hair grow out, and it touched below her breast. Her skin had evened out, and she no longer wore the boyish clothes she'd worn when the two of them had been dating. She wondered briefly if he had changed any. Then she wondered if he could forgive her? Before Ainsley could ponder too long, she rung the doorbell and waited. Thomas, Tommy for short, was in her arms. She;d named him after his grandfather, the grandfather on his father's side. Tommy looked around, and then the door opened. And Ashton felt old memories come back and hit her hard. He told her she had the wrong house, and she shook her head. "Lucas, don't you remember me...?" she's cut off by Tommy squirming around. "Mommy, pee pee." he murmurs, trying to leave her arms.

All of this was so strange. She was shocked that Lucas didn't remember her. They'd been together three years, and he didn't remember her face shape? The sound of her voice? Her eyes? She remember him. His eyes were as grey as they had ever been. The grey eyes he'd given Tommy. Tommy had grey eyes with green flecks and were the best eyes shed ever seen. His hair was still curly, as it'd always been, but no longer did he have it touching his shoulders. It was cut, and it looked good. He was still just a bit taller than six feet but not by much. And it could have been ten years, twenty, and she still would have remembered him. He'd been the only man that she had ever loved. Ainsley saw him grit his teeth, obviously annoyed, asking if he should remember her. She felt her heart drop, sad that he did before she just nodded. AT Tommy's outburst, Lucas tells the boy, almost two now where the bathroom is, and Ainsley knows that he'll need help. She follows her son inside, stopping once she entered. "Thank you." And then she goes to the bathroom, trailing behind Tommy. Once finished she walks back, Tommy walking behind her legs. She had so much explaining to do. "It's me Lucas," she says softly. "It's Ainsley."

Ainsley didn't know what to expect when she told him her name. When she made him remember her. She thought about the way their relationship had ended and gulped. They'd been together three years, and then she packed up and left. She changed her number, she didn't leave any clue as to where she was going. She left him behind and didn't turn back. And she hadn't contacted him in two years until now. She felt extremely bad and immediately bit her lil, wondering what was going through his mind. Ainsley had done it for his own good. So he didn't have to grow faster than he wanted to. She'd done it to help him, to allow him to keep the life he wanted and deserved. She did it out of love. His eyes looked up at her, full of fury and anger and hatred, as he repeated the name, making her let out a breath and look down. She didn't know where to start but knew she better soon or they'd face some problems. She ran her hands through her hair, biting her lip before slowly looking back up at him. He was still th Lucas she remember, kind and handsome. He would understand, right? Even as Ainsley thought it, she doubted it. "I can explain everything," she whispers.

She wasn't dumb, and she knew that Lucas was trying very hard to control his anger. Lucas came back not too long after, drawing her attention, a wide grin on his face before he yawned, rubbing his eye, obviously tired. Ainsley saw Lucas' eyes soften at the kid before he gritted his teeth and drank from his glass of water, obviously reeling in his temper and the questions she knew he had. How would she even begin to answer them? Once he finished, he put the glass down before gesturing to a room, telling her to let the kid go to sleep because it was light. She wondered how'd he'd feel knowing that 'the kid' was his. But she didn't say it, biting her lip. She knew what he was doing. Tommy would have been the barrier, the thing keeping him from losing his temper. Without Tommy, he had no problem revealing his true thoughts. But Ainsley didn't argue. She picked her baby up, smiling before taking him into the room and laying him in the bed. He kissed her cheek and whispered good night before curling up in the covers, his eyes closing. It wasn't long before his heart race evened out. She inhaled, preping herself for the conversation she knew was taking. Ainsley left the room, going back to where she'd been before. She bit her lip. "Where do you want me to start?"

Ainsley wasn't blind, and she saw the way his eyes ran over her but she knew that it wasn't with lust in his eyes that he did. No, he was getting her new look in his head. She looked far different from when she did last time he'd seen her. Aging had done her well thag was for sure. It was a comment that she found herself hearing more and more lately. After his once over, Lucas told her to start from the day she left, and his voice was so foreign to her. Of course there were minor changes in the sound of. The years put that there. But there was coldness, something far away in his voice that she'd never heard before. And it was him who had changed rather than his attitude towards her. She nibbled on her lip before scratching her arm. To say she was nervous was an understatement. "It's not what you think. I didn't leave because I wanted to, I had to. It would have been unfair if I didn't. I have you a better life."

After the words had left her mouth, she heard Lucas scoff, obviously not believing her for a second. Her eyes went to him, and she wished that she could read him like she'd been able to do once upon a time. She'd been able to look into his eyes and tell exactly what he was feeling, what he was thinking, but those times were long gone now it seemed. She heard his words and could tell he had reeled in his temper so as not to scare her or not to wake Tommy. Ainsley shook her head. It was for Tommy, not her. She doubted he'd ever do something for her again. She inhaled, rubbing her hands together, knowing that she was going to have to tell him the truth, the full truth, and she needed to do it now. Who knew how long he was offering to listen to her? To give her a chance to explain herself. She started wondering how to form what she was about to say to him before deciding to go straight for it. Ainsley moved her eyes from the floor to the man who'd she fell in love with so long ago, to the man she no longer recognized. "I didn't want to force becoming a father onto you," she whispers, knowing she couldn't go back now.
