Hah, I was the person who made that original thread. Was on a hiatus for a year or two and came back wondering where that thread had gone- if maybe they'd implemented it. Sad to see it's still a problem, and the suggestion was essentially minimized? Bizarre and a bit irritating... Needless to say, support once again.

Yeah nope, they closed down the one with more attention, feedback and support just because it was newer. It's irritating. Glad to see you back. Know we're still pushing, but I'm sorry we don't have better news for you.

Mods back at it again with the arbitrary enforcement of arbitrary rules like can we get some consistency with this kind of thing ?

Just change the notification to a banner. It’s not the kind of complicated coding that makes this a tough decision. It’s being repeatedly asked for and changing it doesn’t hurt the game in any way. Going years without minor QOL updates like this is so disappointing.

Also real quick, why does the number of supports not influence a suggestions viability to be added to the game ? If you have a huge portion of the player base asking for something - especially in this particular case of a pretty simple coding adjustment, why does that not prioritize the suggestion ? I get it, your house your rules, but it’s hella frustrating to see you come on here to just to say that the majority vote means nothing and mods are allowed to stamp out active discussions as they please.

Why are mods locking active discussions yet suggestions like this and this, and their duplicate topics like this that have been given a definitive rejection by staff, remain.

I’m also raising my brow at That One Topic being locked for “derailing” despite just being a compilation of well outlined critiques. This was an active and organized thread.

I am becoming increasingly irritated by the lack of transparency and the inconsistency in both enforcing rules, and communication and interaction from mods/staff. Yall are really letting the player base down.

Don't know, but it's tiresome, and I'm just glad they unlocked one of my duplicate suggestions in the past.

I had to fight for it, and had proof the previous author hadn't logged in, in A LONG TIME, and since we're not allowed to post others' suggestions, that was why it got unlocked.

These are arguably tiny changes that would be helpful to the playerbase, and while I'm glad they finally addressed previous lack of transparency, I don't understand why it's taking years to roll back a change players have expressed not liking from the get go.
