@Clawdina - Kiman and Mandarin do have a higher pass rate from hybrid parents, but even then scry tests showed it passed at around the rate of combo bases (iirc, it may have been less), not the rate of other breed-only bases like the raffle bases. So even at full odds (Hybrid father and mother) I believe it passes at around half as often when compared to normal bases.

Honestly still crying over pass rates. I use ~8 hybrids w special bases to breed to them and STILL can’t get them to pass. Even had a Kiman Pon and she never passed it either. This is just too much. ;___;

I’ve had lots of Kiman kings over the last year or so but my current king is pretty close to 500 cubs now and the previous one before heritage replacing was at 340 cubs. That’s a lot of cubs without a Kiman. Just breeding within my pride which is all the correct genetics and has included lots of Pon breedings including Kimanjano pons. But still not 1 Kimanjano cub.

Hello Saf! Unfortunately it was 100% intended, the staff made the decision to bring the pass rate down that low. There was a conscious decision to do this and unfortunately even after doubling it, it is unable to pass. I have heard of an interesting theory before from my friend Serval (who heard of it from Berenos) that sometimes, when cubs are born with Dudley skin and their base doesn't have that default skin linked, that those cubs were supposed to be born as Kimans, and weren't. you can find the bugboard thread for that right here. I think it might be interesting to look into that with your cubs as well, to see if any of them have this hypothesized glitch.

Yeah I have seen the bug report from Berenos. I use skin rocks for pale skin so I can’t really test that but I feel that its even harder over the last few months then previously.

ah dang, sorry to hear than pal. Suppose your down on your luck here lately, I know it's tough but hang in there! As far as I know, they haven't done anything to the pass rates as of late, but you never know these days. Hope you can get it to pass for you soon.

I’m at roughly 550 cubs now and I realised I’m over 12 years old, for the first time in years I may actually get a new king for free! Usually I’m paying the 10 - 25GB The sad thing though is it’s increasingly likely he will die without passing Kimanjano despite a large pride of gold dark count genetics and leopons.

Yet finally someone had a Kimanjano cub the other day but dad was Arctic base, that’s black medium!

I was so heartbroken when they nerfed the pass rate for Kimanjano... They took it from hard to breed to impossible to breed without items and it just wasnt achievable for me anymore so I canned my whole project and started a new one . I love the base but it just isn't worth it ... Even having kimanjano x kimanjano or kimanjano x special in the same genetics group I couldn't get the base to pass and overall it was super frustrating and disheartening . I still have a bad taste in my mouth for goldens after that...

Support! I had a Kimanjano king awhile back (now my side is Mandarin… RIP) and out of 500-600+ cubs, he passed his base TWICE. It’s honestly ridiculous how hard it is to breed the hybrid bases :/
