Her purple glowing orbs scanned the horizon as she drew in a sharp breath gazing around the landscape as the sun could be seen rising, making her sign and transform back to human mode. "What a lovely day." She stretched silently with a light yawn, stretching her arms and back as she began climbing down the stones from the cave, 'Huh? I could live here since it's no one's territory or there'd be scent markers.' Lacie thought to herself, jumping down each stone happily, since she had eaten, it out her in a good mood making her stumble down the rock face. She ran a hand through her matted hair before coming across the stream, a waterfall cascaded down the rock formation as she happily listened around before being curious if maybe a hidden area behind the waterfall, which made her climb underneath the pounding water across the slick rocks and behind the waterfall. Lacie beamed upon seeing that there was indeed a hidden area behind the waterfall, and she explored there a bit, 'Hmm here or the moutain? Which would be better?'

He continued walking, keeping himself alert- every noise he heard he flipped around to see what was going on. He seemed rather flighty this time around, but eventually he relaxed himself. He planned to head towards the waterfalls- he had heard things about them, mostly from overhearing things in the city, and hey- why not? This area had a lot of wonders, first being the fields and then the stories of mountains and waterfalls... He liked this area, but he knew that eventually he would have to move- that was the kind of thing that always happens. His mind drifted back to the girl he had met and how they didn't even have a family- not having a family was fine, sometimes they were dead or you left the house, but...something about the way they said it bothered him. Either way, he thought, they're, what, immortal? They probably killed them. He didn't want to think about them anymore- the entire conversation almost shook him to his core. Walking as fast as he could towards the waterfall, even shifting into dragon form to get there a bit faster- and once the waterfall came into view he was already entirely back to normal. He rubbed his face a bit before walking onwards, looking back and forth at the water in the distance. Something smelled strange- and almost instinctively he hid in the trees.

Lacie explored behind the waterfall for a while longer, even dividing the sections she explored as future plans for a home of sorts. Her eyes looked around slowly as she could envision a sort of homely area making her smile, she thought back to the conversation with the guy he met making her chuckle remembering his slightly shocked reaction. Lacie did have a family but had been disowned due to her less than normal murderous tendencies, it was known throughout the land where she hailed from that her kind were nothing but murderous traitors. Shaking her head she decided to see what kinds of fish lived in the small stream below, making her silently walk back out from behind the waterfall to gaze down into the waters below. The female silently examined the fish swimming arpund, knowing certain types but also knowing that some of the fish were not common, or ordinary for that matter, she sucked in a deep breath, breathing in the scent of the calming waters and something else- the same scent she had picked up on from the boy that she met the day before, 'Oh....is he here to kill me....' Her thoughts echoed as she skunk down on a smooth boulder behind some of the waterfall, hoping he had not seen one picked up her scent, not wanting to hurt anyone. Lacie breathed in slowly as she lightly tapped some rocks with a gentle sigh, drawing on a silent breath watching the shimmery water below her. The night dragons were not necessarily rare or anything but it was hard to find any and well, Lacie hated being alone, but since she had been kicked out from her family she had no one to befriend much.

Looking through the trees his eyes widened once the dragon came into view- he could tell just from looking that they were one of the other kinds, one of the night dragons that...were less than friendly. While his folk could have the Night blood it was rather rare, and the clear features of the other dragon were... no. No, they weren't one of his, but he doubted it was the strange girl he had met earlier. While they did talk a lot about dragons he doubted they knew much about them- to think a Night was part of dragon-folk! Watching them for a moment longer he started to walk backwards, trying to get himself out of sight and away from the wind to hide scent. He planned to shift into his own dragon form once he was far enough away and see what happened then with the pair of them, see why they were there or what they knew. Turning around he started running as loudly as he could, mimicking the loud pads of human feet, trying to alert them that he really was leaving. Moments later he slid to a stop, walking a bit further in his normal way, silent as a beast was- before starting the transformation into his scaled form. With that he started to step cautiously through the trees, trying not to alert unwanted attention before reaching the waterfall.

Her piercing purple orbs followed the patterns that the fish swam in while she quietly watched them, her dragon-features were still rather noticeable. Lacie lifted her head upon hearing what sounded like the human that she had scented earlier running away, she visibly relaxed, calmly watching the waters shimmer below her. A fish jumped up and splashed her, which made her giggle softly as she place her hand in the water, the blackened scales on her forearm reflected the sun's rays as they hit her scales just right, a dark-colored fish leapt from the water and splashed her rather suddenly, making her yelp and fall off the rock, laughing the whole time as she watched in amusement as the same fish darted underneath some smooth stones. The amethyst tint in her eyes made her have a feral appearance just like the scales on her form, she had four, much smaller horns protruding from the crown of her hair as she ran a hand through the silky lock since she had washed off in the stream near the waterfall. Though the water crashing into water made her hearing a bit finicky being so close to the waterfall, so she hardly heard the footsteps fleeting the scene as she played around for a bit longer, tossing a few stones and indulging in the watery mist from the waterfall.

With a sharp claw the other dragon picked up the fish, impaling it on a talon and swiftly bringing it up to his jaws, where he deboned it with a sharp twist, discarding the bones. Snapping at the flesh he moved closer into the spray of the waterfall, now entirely in sight- he kept a good distance away from them and pretended he was more interested in the fish than the other dragon- although every time he guessed she was looking away he gazed up to see what they were doing or if he was being attacked. It was a nervewracking thing to do, as he didn't know whether he would be leapt at at any moment due to the violent nature of the other creature... Trying to stay natural he walked backwards, leaping after another fish further away and narrowly missing catching it in his jaws. Folding his wings to his side he peered down into the water, tilting his head to see the other one in the corner of his eye. They seemed happy enough, apparently enjoying their own company. They looked friendly enough- they were definitely different than the one he had met before. Maybe there were some good dragons around here... Becoming a bit bold he moved closer, extending his wings a bit to attempt to get their attention.

The flash of scales had caught her eye but she brushed it off as the water shimmering making her snort as a bee flew into her nose. She shook her head gazing down at her reflection finding the fish amusing as they swam around before she slipped her tail in the water, watching the smaller fish dart around and away from her black tail. Lacie stretched her wings silently, setting up on the stone edge she had chosen as her perch, the scales looking vibrant in the sun's rays. The deep black dragon shook her form as she stood up to stretch but spotted the other Dragon and made a startled yelp/growl as she fell off the rock before getting up to gaze curiously at the other Dragon kind. Keeping her posture neutral she made a soft roar in greeting before stepping forward a little, "H-Hi." Though if the it attacked she would defend herself as she sat down on the ground, wrapping her sleek black tail around her front talons. Lacie quietly lowering her wings for a moment as she shook her head, flicking her forked tongue for a moment as she watched alertly.

He stood still as she got up, not making any movement when she fell off the rock. Looking at them, keeping his eyes strongly focused on them, he dipped his head politely. He kept himself in a defensive pose, at any time ready to be attacked- or if his words would in some way trigger them. However once they wrapped their tail around their talons he realized they weren't planning to attack- at least, that wasn't a good spot to do so from. Looking at their eyes he realized they were about the same height- they had a lot more horns than him and a deeper color. "Funny." he said, his draconic voice rather different from his usual human one. "I would have expected you to be at my throat by now." He kept his eyes firmly fixed on theirs, holding his wings slightly out just in case he needed a quick leap into the air. "I guess you're not that style."

The dragoness hummed lightly as he stepped forward a bit, dipping his head politely, which she done the same with a curious expression. She was alert in case he actually attacked, keeping her wings out to shield herself in case he decided to suddenly attack, but she got no hints of hostility and allowed her wings to relax. The female shook her head, "Oh....an I encroaching on your territory....I'll l-leave...." Her voice was rougher but still could be deciphered as a female's voice as she gazed at the other dragon, "I just, there was no signs...." The Dragon shifted in her stance lightly, yawning ever so faintly as she observed the other Dragon curiously. The female, though shorter, made up with her strength and battle stamina but she remained silent and tried to look as non-threatening as possible while gazing curiously at the other dragon, knowing he was not part Night Dragon.

He kept his wings out, not lowering them even once the other dragon put them in a relaxed position. He would only relax himself if he knew for sure things were safe... He shook his head once they asked if this was his territory, beating his wings a bit. "No no," he began, looking at her straight in the eyes again- "this isn't my land. And by your speech and the lack of signs-" in truth he hadn't even looked for signs- "I don't think it's yours either." His draconic form had a rather charismatic voice, smoother than both of his other voices. His human voice had a bit of a rasp to it and his avian form had it even worse, sounding like harsh calls instead of speech. With the thought of that form he felt it scratching at his scales to escape- it was a lot easier to crush down if you were a dragon. "And if it's not yours, then the both of us have the same right to be here." He looked at her, although his feelings for her were softening. They didn't seem hostile to him, and while they weren't dragon-folk like him, he could tell they were friendly enough. He didn't yet feel a need to rush off.

She silently observed his stance for any signs of hostility making her examine him closely with a tilt of her head. Lacie nodded lightly, "I mean I wish it were my lands, but I know I'll have to leave again...." Her tone was a bit upset as she pushed away the thoughts of having to move again deeper into her mind, she huffed lightly at the butterfly landing on her noise as she gazed at the other dragon, keep her stance comfortable and non-threatening. Her darkened scales reflecting the light much like the spring was doing below her as she slightly shifted her weight a little from being about half the weight being on her hind legs to move and transition to distribute it evenly throughout her legs. Lacie drew in a soft breath as she nodded, "Seems to be so..." The shorter dragon lightly lifted her head to look towards the forest a bit upon hearing the shuffling of leaves.

"If nobody's claimed this land," he spoke, tilting his head a bit to get a better look at her, "then anybody could take it. It's good land, too- if you wish to stick around the waterfalls and don't mind being challenged by others, you may have yourself a spot." He didn't hint that he would challenge her for it- of course, he likely would, if the idea of having another dragon that close bothered him. He was fine with his one house and the surrounding area, as a waterfall was hard to hide in- but it was something that could be made to work. As long as he made sure to keep the land safe from hunters...He thought about this for a moment, about what he would do with the waterfall until his attention snapped back to the other dragon. "Yes." Still staring at her, he saw a small fish out of the corner of his eye and slashed at it, picking it up in one claw and removing the bones the same way he did the last one. "So," he spoke after he had done so, "we're both going to stay here in peace, correct? No slashing or fighting unless you want to? Personally, I want to keep my legs." He gave a small huff of amusement, hoping his attempt at lightening the tone was good enough for the dark colored dragon. He wondered if they knew he wasn't the same species as them.

"I could, but usually I have to keep moving because of hunters...." She spoke in a gentle time as she stretched her wings lightly, casting a shadow underneath her form, it wasn't a display of dominance or anything just merely her stretching her wings out. Lacie hoped he didn't take her stretching her wings as a challenge since some species would, the purple-eyed dragoness lightly looked down at her talons on the ground while this other Dragon silently deboned a fish in front of her, making her lean herself back a little to not give him the idea of her wanting to steal his food. "Honestly I'm fine with a nomadic lifestyle, I guess after all these years of being a nomad made me okay with it..." The way she spoke sounded a bit sad and like it had more of a story behind it, making her shake her head to brush the thoughts away as she chuckled gently. Lacie chuckled lightly, "No, actually I prefer not having to fight, unless provoked even then I hardly fight, but I am in no way a pacifist." The darker dragon relaxed her stance a bit more as she scratched her snout with her canvas-like wing, keeping her eyes open just in case the stranger was putting on an act to attack her when she least expected him to.

He nodded, listening to her until she finished speaking. He preferred not to interrupt other people- he knew his sister hated when he did so, and he got way too many friendly whacks on the nose from her. Getting a whack on the nose from a full dragon, as unlikely as it may be, didn't sound like fun at all. "Do the hunters really come this far?" he asked her once she had finished, barely resisting looking backwards to check if they were being sneaked up on. Taking quick bites of the fish between sentences, he easily finished it off, discarding the bones back into the water for the rest of the fish to take bites out of. Who knew what weird things fish would eat? "I don't move around as often as you appear to." he spoke. "I leave when I want." Of course, it was a small lie- the hunters usually forced him and his family out too. "I don't mind a fight. I'll fight if I see a need to- although I hate to be the one to start a battle." He would rather easily turn on somebody- if he felt disturbed or unnerved by another individual he would use his claws first chance he got. It usually solved problems, either way. Now that he knew that about them he guessed they wouldn't leap at him anytime soon- although he kept his eyes focused on them, showing off his rather distrusting nature. He wasn't going to fully trust this dragon anytime soon, although he was warming up to them.

Lacie finished speaking, nodding her head at the way he allowed her to finish speaking, she stretched her wings to soak up the sun's warmth as the other Dragon spoke once more, "Er I don't know? I just have a feeling they might..." The black scales glinted with her movements as she drew in a short breath before it broke into a small yawn making her large shoulders go up before she released a breath lightly. Her eyes darted behind him for a moment as she returned her gaze to him shaking her head, "Then you must be one of those lucky Dragon kind....that aren't hunted a lot..." Lacie silently glanced towards the waterfall and where the cave behind it was as she looked down at the mini piranha type fish who are the remains rather quickly, she averted her gaze to the water before lightly lifting their gaze back to the other dragon, "S-So how long have you been here then...? I mean here watching me..? I caught another scent earlier from the direction you came from...and was curious if it was you or not?" The night Dragon silently looked unblinking at the other dragon, since she did not know it's name, "I have this urge to call you Lune since I don't know what you call yourself...." She shyly dropped her gaze to the ground silently shifting on her front talons nervously.
