She nodded lightly in agreement with his words, "I would too." The dragoness wrapped her tail around her back claws once more as she paid attention to him, though it looked like she was still gazing into the forest beside them. Lacie nodded gently in response to him, "I did actually, though it was a pretty lax meeting." The purple dragon shook her head slightly as she flicked her ears for a moment lightly shifting her weight once more as she gazed directly at the other one. Her eyes landed back on his form as he mentioned someone suspicious and different the other day, "You didn't chase them down? Did you happen to maybe speak to them or anything? We may have met the same creature, or something?" Her wings shifted lightly on her back as she gazed curiously at him, if he did tell her that he had indeed spoke to one, maybe she could get him to explain what the creature looked like to see if they had met the same being.

He thought about her words, folding his wings tightly to his side. She would tell him if there was something weird in the forest behind the pair- and he had to keep his eyes on her. He realized she was in the better tactical position, being able to watch both him and the forest at the same time. That wouldn't be good, and he may have to move around into a better position if he wished to have the advantage. "I didn't chase them down, no." he spoke. "Speaking- not much, and nothing that went well. It was not a pleasant conversation." Could they have met the same creature? It was something to think about, of course. "It may have been the same one. That's a better thing to think about than if there's more than one around here, after all."

Once she finished speaking, she listened to him speak, while wrapping her tail around a nearby tree stump, her claws brushed against the smooth river stone. Though she did let out a soft breath, "The conversation I had with the creature I met wasn't pleasant either, mainly because I was more awkward....and sarcastic..." Lacie made sure to steer clear of informing the unknown dragon that she had more than just dragon blood in her, because he probably would get defensive, "True, it might have been the same one, though i'm sure the one I met was a male I believe." Her black scales reflected the light's rays a little as she quietly clawed the stone, a habit she had formed since she was younger, plus it did kind of sharpen her claws a little bit, not that she wanted to use the sharpened claws against the other dragon.

"Well, some creatures don't do well with that." He wouldn't admit that he was one of those creatures- he was easy to get upset, even more so when he was in a draconic form. "And some species are all males, too- so maybe you met one of those? I've never ran into another male..." He thought for a moment, but he couldn't recall any- "at least, not yet. They may not have actually struck out because not many would dare challenge a dragon." He made sure not to tell her that technically he too was a hybrid- with his avian form and all. It was unnatural and strange for somebody to have more than one ability like that... lucky for this dragon, that was all they were. He didn't like being a multi-shifter, and he didn't trust others who could do the same. Looking down at his claws on the stone he realized that his claws had left a long streak of broken grass and dirt, so he brushed it off his claws with a swipe against a leaf. He doubted he would need to use the claws, but maybe...

She listened alertly to his words, nodding lightly and picked up a small hint of something else from his words, as that was one of her better fortes, reading between the lines of a statement mostly, she figured she was pretty good with that. "True I could have ran into one of those....He spoke to me first when I was relaxing in a flowery field, or that's where I met him anyway, so maybe he could be one of those species." Of course she had no idea this other dragon may be the same person she had met the other day as she cleared her throat, "I personally would't want to challenge another dragon either, since i'd prefer peace for a little while anyway...." Her eyes looked down at her claws for a moment, lightly she stretched her left wing for a second since it had started cramping because of an old injury retained from her hatchling hood. It was a dull dark/purple jagged scar torn through the leathery material of her wings, practically all the way down her wing, an injury that if the attacker had not stopped she would not have been able to fly.

Her mention of flowers surprised him a bit- as he had been in a field of flowers just the day before. The creature he met there was strange and acted in a way that he would guess was malevolent- and they definitely weren't a dragon. "Strange." he said, raising an eyebrow and putting himself at a bit more of an offensive stance- "I also met a creature in a field of flowers. They weren't in any way draconic- maybe there's a group of them hiding out there that we don't know of yet. The one I met appeared to be a female." They can't be the same one, he told himself, this one is a full on dragon, and much friendlier than the beast in the flowers. Maybe they met the same one. He looked at her wing scar- it looked rather bad, but at least she survived it. That was a good sign, after all. "Maybe we met the same creature or a relation of theirs."
