(it's time for this, right? it's the middle of september, i think we've waited long enough)
if you already know how to play, just turn on your lights, and post a comment if you'd like your den to be easier to find. if you don't, it's pretty easy, and it'll be explained in this post!

what this is:
the roleplay trick-or-treat game/event (or rp tot, pm tot, unofficial/user-made tot) is a new tradition for the time every year before the official (game-hosted) one! i didn't make this but might as well keep starting the fun early, right?


how to play:
-put your lights on by changing your name, to your name with some form of "lights on" after it! for example, if my name is usually "becka", i would change it to "becka (lights on!)" or "becka- lights on!". there's no wrong way to put it as long as it's clear that you're playing!

-find other players with "lights on" in their names and send trick or treat messages to them! some players don't mind if you just send a simple "trick or treat!", especially if you're new, but it's more fun and looks better to send a short roleplay of your lion/lioness visiting their house first. it can be as short or as long as you want, be creative! then, you'll usually get some kind of treat from them-- usually an item, but whatever they feel like sending!

-and don't forget to answer the trick or treaters you get-- send them a treat! an item/decor is usually good, but you can be more creative or give cooler prizes if you want! you can also send a roleplay message back of your lion/lioness handing out treats, but that's mostly optional.

who's in:
-anyone with "lights on" in their names, or find them in the comments of this post!
-if someone has "lights off" or doesn't mention it, don't try to trick or treat with them, they're not playing.

other:
-my lights are always on, go ahead and trick or treat at my den! i'm giving away mostly accessories/decor worth , but i'll be adding the occasional buffy ball or better item :3
-there's no set end date for this game/event, but once the game's official tot event starts, this one usually ends and you'll be able to trick or treat by my territory description instead of roleplaying.
