I don't think Vash is all bad? Just hardcore, but not a complete a-hole. I might be biased now that I've gotten used to his quests.

The July event gods... Ugh. I mostly did Menhit's quests because I saw her as the least bad of the three (Apedemak and Apollyon are tied, for the record). Maybe repeating it over a few years undermined any character development for them? I don't know. I'm fine with them being retired, really.

Vash strikes me as narcissistic and abusive. V'kai has signs of being an abuse victim. Too many little signs- It's not okay to talk about or treat your brother like that, I dont care if he seems guilty when he asks you to do it- he still asks and that can be something an abuser can use to trick their victims. I dont say this lightly.

The Demiurge... I can't stand him. Granted I took an unexpected hiatus last year when I was finally able to get to his quests, and heck... I can't even do half of the ones in the Wiki. I'm already struggling with the lioness claiming. And I'm not looking forward to the cubs portion.

Apedemak, never was a fan of him. Not really all that caring to his mate, worse to his daughter. The base, sure I like. Character? Hell no. Apollyon, dislike his chin. Love his base (still trying to get it after all these years). Menhit, I always side with her. She has flaws, but that's fine. No one is totally perfect.

Egyptian storyline, I was excited for. But I'm not a big fan of supernatural stuff, so the snakes bother me since it's not actual Egyptian mythology. And yes, I know they said they were taking their own spin on it. So please don't come after me with that... I'm just not a big fan of giant snakes causing earthquakes.

I am not particularly fond of the June's NPCs. I like Bast enough to typically go with her but none of them make the event super interesting.

I don't like Nirah much at all. I only do his part for the items I can get which is what I do with the June event.

As much as I got tired of the July event, I am kinda sad they retired them. I think having a new story with them in some way would be interesting over the grueling quests we can do. July used to be one of my favorites and now. I am not too sure. The Demi lion seems really obnoxious and weird in a bad way?

The storyline won't be added until next year, I believe. I love the art and the theme so I'm just vibin' rn. But its very.......... odd without context, for sure.

Which, I get not getting the story until next year, that wouldn't be the first time an event has been released in stages like that. But with absolutely nothing, not even a bread crumb, (on top of all the economy stuff that is off topic for this thread), I already have a bad taste in my mouth for this event.

Oh for sure, the Tefnut shop is.. irritating. I definitely think there should have been, like, a very short plot? Or like. Fucking anything to read on before diving into a new explore page with new items and enemies. Still, I can see it's potential - and am hoping admins do something about the bullshit that is the Tefnut event shop prices - so I'm not entirely miffed. It's weird that we don't even have an NPC to look at yet.

I agree that it has potential. The art is very very nice and it's weird enough that it might work. But DRAGONS in SPACE while I'm over here using shards of meteorites like some kind of rocket fuel to get around SPACE is super weird XD
