This rp is still a semi WIP, but I'll edit things occasionally as we go along. My Co-Host and friend, (Nicole |Proud Bisexual), will be assisting me on some areas of the rp. I hope you'll stick around and consider joining! - <~><~><~><~><~> - ~Intro~ - You wake up as usual to go downstairs and eat breakfast. All through breakfast, you saw your parents whispering to themselves, with the occasional sideways glance at you. As you finish up your meal, your parents tell you that a letter arrived for you. The paper seems fragile and old fashioned, like scroll paper, and you carefully remove it from the envelope. You then open the letter, and carefully read what's written on it. < "Dear _____, - We're proud to say that you've been accepted into Meadow Blossom Dragon Rescue. Here, you'll help to train and care for the dragons we have. Some are wild ones that give us the eggs we use for bonding practices. Others are ones that have been bred in captivity at the rescue. In the end, you'll end up caring for a dragon one way or another. - Each year, we have something called a Choosing Ceremony, where the students are instructed to place their hand on an egg lined up on a special table for the eggs. If the hatchling inside chooses you, the egg will hatch, and you'll be responsible for caring for it. If the egg you touch doesn't hatch, then you move on to touch the next egg. Once an egg hatches, you and the baby dragon will be bonded. You're responsible for protecting it and caring for it, and vice versa for the dragon as it grows up. - Most of the other dragons are ones that we've bred and tamed ourselves. They're normally used for helping the newest rescue members how to care for their dragon. You'll learn what and how to feed them, keeping them well groomed and clean, and many other things. Sometimes the dragons are friendly, while others are harder to get along with and tame. It all depends on you and the dragon. - We hope you'll accept this invitation and join us at the rescue. If you accept, you'll pack the things you wish to bring with you and leave for the rescue a week after recieving this letter. We can't wait to meet you and see the potential you hold for this rescue! - Signed, Headmistress/Headmaster _____." < With this letter in hand, you quickly pack your things to leave, and no sooner then a week later, you're on a boat with several other kids, ranging from the ages of 16 to 22 years old. The boat soon arrives at an island in the ocean, which you all assume is way off from the coast of Florida, where you started. The island is hidden by an invisibility shield to protect it, with magic that repels any other boats away to keep the island hidden. Once on land, you're lead to a valley by truck, where a huge, magnificent building resembling a school resides. With wide open areas filled with stables, cliffs with caves for housing and for dragons, and arenas to help train your dragons, will you be one of the lucky few to come here for safety and to claim a dragon as you reside here? ((Alrighty, lemme just yeet Kage out here- :'D)) The tall male nodded slowly, quietly examining Raiden from where he stood. "Mm.. I-I wasn't taught to speak it. I just.. s-seemed to be born with the skill to s-speak and understand it somehow..." He looks down at his feet for a moment, his fingers twitching a bit nervously as he briefly looks back up. "W-What's your name..?" The male chirped softly, taking the chance to move a bit closer by taking two small steps forward. His wings lower a bit, as if slowly feeling a tiny bit safer knowing he wasn't in any danger. ((Also, I can totally imagine Kage and Raiden having so many conversations speaking the Enderman language and everyone is so confused and thinks they're both absolutely mad XD)) 0 players like this post! He looks down at the outstretched hand, his eyes staring at it for a moment with wide eyes. After a moment he took a quiet breath, reaching out with his own hand and taking hold of Raiden's. Kage frowned for a moment as he thought over the question, then gives a light shrug. "I-I don't know.. I was exploring a bit, b-but then.. something tried to attack me, a-and I teleported out here.." He murmured, giving a slight shiver as he glanced off to the side, his one hand holding his other arm in an almost sheepish manner. When he did this though, you could see something like scratch marks on the side of his neck, and if you followed them you could see there were more injuries like the marks on his neck, these one slightly bigger and apparently still fresh. He had pretty bad gashes on his legs, as well as scratches and what look like teeth marks and burns on his tail and wings, and a smaller gash on his arm. Kage meanwhile either didn't notice the injuries or was trying to purposely ignore them. "I-I think I'm okay..? Though things are a little f-fuzzy.." 0 players like this post! Like? |

Kage nodded once, blinking a few times before moving forward a little more until he was standing beside Raiden. He furrowed his brow briefly, giving another frown as he spoke. "I-I do remember that.. the thing t-that attacked me had wings. It could also.. b-breathe fire. I think that i-it was a dragon..?" He said softly, his tone making it sound like he was talking to both himself and to Raiden at the same time. "I-It wasn't very big, but.. it c-certainly wasn't friendly." The male gives a vaguely annoyed grunt, his face holding a look that said he wasn't happy about being hurt. ((Omg, I just had a thought for Kage. So like- he's tall, right? Well, what if the height he is was due to the fact that he changed his height, but his actual height is actually average or a little below average height? .O. )) 0 players like this post! Like? |

The other male nodded, returning the smile with one of his own, despite the fact that it was small. "Y-Yeah. Okay.." He said softly, and walked beside Raiden quietly as he looks at their surroundings while they walked. His deep violet eyes seemed to hold a interested expression, as well as glitter from the bits of sunlight peeking through the leaves. Then, whenever a tiny critter would scamper by or a bird flew over their heads, Kage would briefly flinch in surprise, but then he'd smile slightly with a fascinated expression as he watched. Despite seeming so afraid of the world, he seemed to have quite the interest in wild critters and things that were small; he'd also grow a little excited when a bird would land on his head, peering at his wings curiously before chirping and flying away. ((I DO IT BECAUSE I CAN >:3)) Kage continued to admire their surroundings as the two of them walked, his expression and posture eventually growing more relaxed as his wings give a small flutter. He happens to glance down at himself and sees the scratches and other injuries on his legs, then turns his head to look at his wings, tilting his head with a mildly bewildered expression. 'Hmm. Seems that dragon got me pretty good..' He thought to himself, giving a small shrug as he let out a quiet yawn, the sound trailing off in a soft squeak as he blinked sleepily. Now that the chaos of his day had settled, he looked quite tired, like he hadn't slept well in a little while, though he kept shaking his head every so often like he was shaking away a random thought or fighting the urge to sleep. His tail was lowered at the moment, to the point where it barely touched the top of the grass as it slowly swayed back and forth, like a dog's tail when it walks. 0 players like this post! Like? |
