Backstory: Casta was born and raised in Lushpelt- and was brought up the same way any lion with his pelt would be raised, he studied under the old queen- Queen lovetta as her Advisor- soon being kinged after she retired. His mother and father died not too long ago, and have since had their pelts hung above his den.
Personality: Casta is a manipulative, dramatic, and egotistical king who has no pity for those with undesirable pelts or markings. He does not flinch at lions being killed nor skinned- and only considers it Pethos’s will. Despite this- his usual first impressions to lions he finds to be worthy of his time are charming and charismatic. He knows how to work a crowd- and has many devoted followers in his Pride. He hates doing anything boring and would rather be lazy or hold a party than do his royal duties. He’s also very much a snob, hating to touch or fight any lion with a plain pelt. He also throws a lot of fits when things don’t go his way- often taking it out on Snags or his keepers as a result. Despite what you might think- he’s actually quite skilled in fighting and combat, having killed many. But he owes some of that to his claw extensions that have been passed down to every ruler in the clan.

Other: He’s only sired one cub in his lifetime so far- that being his son Angel, who was set up to be the next advisor but was demoted to messenger quickly when he began to go against orders.

He’s also very close with lovetta, considering her one of the only people above him aside from Pethos.

He’s very femmine in his appearance and speech, much like his son. And likes to wear things more fitted for lionesses as much as he does things fitted for lions.

Backstory: Angel is King Casta’s only son- and was lined up to be the next advisor and king of the pride. As he grew older, The king noticed he was very timid and sheepish around most pride members- as well as sympathetic to the snags of the clan. The breaking point was when his father found him sneaking food and medicine to the snags and keepers. He was then demoted to messenger and disowned by his father. He now resides in sleek water- as king of the pride.

Personality: Angel is practically the opposite of his father, meek, sensitive, anxious, humble, and empathetic. He’s very generous and kind, but also a huge doormat to his pride and father. He isn’t good when it comes to charming people, and is very awkward and usually quiet. H

Backstory: Lovetta was found and taken in by Lushpelts old king- Nida, a beautiful Lion with a merlot coat and loving demeanor. Or at least she thought- Nida soon revealed to her his morals.. Which she was ok with, as long as she could stay. Lovetta decided to pretend to be in love with Nida to climb the ranks- soon having her first litter with him. It’s said she had a misacarrige at first, soon after giving birth to three cubs. 2 boys and one primal girl. Nida was furious with her, and sent the primal to become a snag. After this- they seemed to always be fighting. Till one day, Nida was killed by a pack of hyenas out on the borders… completely by accident. She then took over the pride and had no further mates or litters- mentoring Casta till she retired.
Personality: Lovetta is rather cold and unfeeling- and likes to keep to herself. She can also lash out in violence at others on occasion. Other than this, she can be wise at times, but is also frail in her old age.

Much has happened to Way. During her time at Sunbaked, She encountered a handsome Primal lion named Solorais. He was the prince and first in line to being their king. She enjoyed his company. During the travels, she runs into a past lover named Brutus, who is murdered within the pride, but first clawing her face and wounding her mortally. Meanwhile Calming Dawns, having a debt from Solorais, manipulated her sister into sparking a relationship. Wayward refused at first, but she then threatened the death of Slated Heart. Fearful for her grandpaw's life, she met with Solorais during the late night and soon was pregnant with his cub. Due to the circumstance, Wayward attempts to leave Lushpelt without being caught. However, Calming Dawns once again stops her and claims that Solorais is to blame for the death of her late Husband. She demands that when Wayward bears her cub, to give her the cub to raise as her own, or else she'd kill Angel and Sol. She must also never speak to Angel agin. Wayward, protecting both of her loves agrees. But the suspicion grows more and more, so she chooses to flee once again. She nearly makes it when she is stopped by Angel. She spills out the truth to him, and the former is heart broken.
However, Calming dawns watched from the shadows, infuriated she had been betrayed, she attacks Wayward. Wayward nearly looses until Angel rips her stomach open. Saving Wayward but scarring young Cloudy Brain.
Wayward chooses to leave, Living with the Cavewalkers for 4 months. She bears her son, but her milk never comes. She befriends a young Primal named Casetta, who feeds her son alongside her own cubs.
Solorais soon falls ill with Cave-blight, a strange illness akin to Rabies that the Cavewalkers can contract from soured cave-water. He is quarantined in a Medic's Cavern. Nzinga sees his friend is suffering, so he laces his food with Sulphur to kill him off. The Prince however is thought to do this as he is now first in line. the only person who knows why he did this was Wayward, who helped gather the sulphur rocks to lace in the meal. She names her son after Angel, Angelic Feather. Her time in Cavewalker territory has taught her newfound empathy.

Personality: ((Changed since latest story)) Defensive, jumpy, defensive, quiet, skittish, empathetic, motherly, selfless, diplomatic.

Other: Has an obsession with travelling, and collects Mice and keeps them as pets. She can be a bit of an oddball.
After having Angelic Feather, she has become close with any cub and learned to be more empathetic to them.

Backstory: Hel comes from a very long line of Pelters in her family tree, going back for years and years. She is one of the most well known pelters in the whole lushpelt pride, often kept busy with commissions of skinned pelts that she sells often. Hel doesn’t mind bloody work, rather enjoying skinning animals or other lions seeing it as art rather than murder or gore. She’s even gone to the extreme of making her own claw extensions just to make the skinning easier and faster for both herself and for anyones commissions.

Personality: flamboyantly and maliciously devious. Hel makes deals where it’s nearly impossible for the other party to keep up their end of the bargain, and she isn’t above cheating to win. In fact, she seems to revel in manipulating other people. Hel also has a high opinion of herself, even though she hasn’t found some to court her . She doesn’t like to do any big dirty work and certainly doesn’t have any trouble manipulating people to do it for her either.

Backstory: Milzos doesn't remember her cub hood, but she walks and explores anyways. She has learned that she needs to stay in shade otherwise her sensitive pinkish red eyes will get hurt. She is near a pride of lions which she has shown some emotion to and protects them. However she shows no mercy to the other lions and prey around her. Milzos has token intrest in many female lions but unfortunately they have all rejected her.

Personality: When she talks, she will tell the truth . Milzos can be protective depending on who it is. She doesn't like the presence of others, but if she finds a lone cub she will nod it back to its pride. She also seems to leave those who are kind to her alone. However if one is rude to her she will attack without hesitation.

Backstory: Despite being a full pelt- Dolly was and always has been a snag of the clan. Often regarded by the other Snags as the 3rd level den mother- she cares and tends to those that are kept below the clan. She teaches them how to fight- in case they ever have to compete in events or protect themselves. She’s an elderly lioness that still has a lot of kick to her, often talking back and being rude towards those that aren’t from the third level. She also teaches other snags to be proud of their coats and mutations- as the prides view of beauty is warped and dishonest.

Personality: She’s very hardy and can fight very well despite being a dwarf lioness. She’s very motherly to other snags of the clan, often taking blame for their screw ups and being punished as such. She helps the snags of the clan survive best they can- as the Oasis is the only home she’s ever known. She also helps Angel sneak out some of the snags from time to time, but has refused to leave herself. Her goal and heart belong to the rotting third level of the clan.

Backstory: Slated Heart is silent, and rarely ever speaks. Of course, these stories are often called a pile of "Elephant Dung" by the other elders, but he swears by his lucky stars that it was true. Instead of Swearing to Pethos, He swears to a Sunmother, and has a habit of hiding in damp, dark caverns.
