One thing that was brought to my attention by another chatter (besides some exepctions), all rosettes born so far had a primal, pie or patches as a parent. Now this could be conincidence, since whe simply dont have a lot of non mutie kings, but it might be worth looking at! Also for some of them a crb was used, so shaded rosettes might be tied in with mutation chances?

I was searching for ebony shaded rosette kings at first and saw none, obviously very surprised, and started looking at cubs that had it instead. Looking at their parents, it seems 9 times out of 10 parents-wise there is some sort of cowl involved such as mocha, heather, onyx, and black cowl with heather and mocha seeming to be the most common. Of course there were a few without, but it seems like almost every single one involves cowl? I don't really know if it is that mark specifically or if I'm just seeing patterns out of nothing but it seems weird enough to call out especially because there was one cub with parents who both had cowl and only one other marking

little edit: there was only one example on this thread of cowl being involved (clay) but I still think it is weird o__o definitely want to hear other thoughts/opinions on this

edit to the edit of the edit: scryed (scried?) a king with cowl and a NCL i have with cowl as well and got a Dark Brown Shaded Rosette out of it with just a few tries (shown off in the spoiler below with parents)
