Hi! So, as we all know, there's a new kind of rosette marking in the game: Shaded Rosettes. In the game chat and in the news post it was announced on, the admins implied the requirements to breed a shaded rosette were different than those to breed a rosette, so i want to see if we can crack the shaded rosette code together! If you have any shaded rosettes born into your pride, please leave the parents info here so we can all try to guess how to breed shaded rosettes! are we still collecting data? got a slot 4 gold inverted shaded rosette a few days ago. i'll put in all the parental genetic info as requested but i believe the most important takeaway is that both parents have a lace marking in slot 4. obviously this could just be coincidental, as many rosettes are born without this condition, but i've got a feeling that lace/spot markings may have some kind of correlation. if any further rosette cubs are born from this pairing i'll edit to reflect the new data. suggestion for op or anyone devoted enough to examine all of this information to try and crack the code - perhaps a shared google spreadsheet or something similar? if this already exists please lmk lol 0 players like this post!
