Mink'Tail frowned. Maybe Slugbriar was getting tired of her going on his nerves so she raised herself and turned to look him in the eyes.

"You're no fun when you're tired... I'll leave you for some time and find someone else to annoy. See you later!"

And with that she turned around and let her pale eyes gaze over the camping for her next victim.

The elegant she wandered around camp. Her eyes grazed the clearning as she looked for what she could do next. Really the clan life was a lot about resting to gather strength for the next day. That was of course after you had done some daily hunting and border patrolling. But the boring waiting could become too much sometimes... if only there was someone to talk to apart from Slugbriar who she seemed to have tired too much already. She chuckled to herself at the thought.

Mink'Tail(Anyone)

Rose'Cloud was feeling just a little bored. She'd woken up this morning just to find all the other cats have already gone out on patrol. So she settled herself down at the edge of camp, considering going to talk to either Frog'Star or Mink'Tail when they returned. Instead, Frog'Star went to Sun'Fur, and Mink'Tail to Slug'Briar. She then wondered if she should try and talk to Aspen'Paw, but she then decided not to. There was something about that apprentice... She watched Mink'Tail and Slug'Briar with a small smile. Those two were just too cute together. She watched as they went out into the woods, then saw them return. They seemed like they were still on good terms, but they soon left. Rose'Cloud yawned and shuffled to her paws. She wanted to ask Mink'Tail about what had happened. She was curious.

"Hey Mink'Tail," She purred as she approached the beautiful brown speckled she-cat. "How're you?"

Aspen'paw sat in the brush, watching the camp wake up. He watched the annoying she-cat Minktail talk with Slugbriar. 'That Slugbriar is kind of okay... He's nice to me.' he thought with a yawn.

Surprised that another cat, out of free will, wanted to talk to her she turned around to see RoseCloud smiling at her. All the arrogance left her when she just looked at the kind she. Perhaps she was jealous of how nice the other was, but she wouldn't show it. Mink'Tail set up a smile aswell, purring slightly to soften her tone.

"Hello RoseCloud, I'm perfect, how about you? Have you been out yet?"

Maybe they could take a walk together or so, Mink'Tail wouldn't mind getting to know the pretty cat better. And friends weren't bad in a clan, especially in fights they'd be easy to trust with the right decision. So although she felt a little weak letting her arrogance go, she saw an opportunity in letting it fall for some time.

“No, I have not been out yet. I’m glad to hear you’re doing well. I saw you with Slug’Briar earlier, how is he doing?” She responded with a smile. Mink’Tail was just such a sweet cat, and Rose’Cloud was happy she could spend some time with her. “Did you and Slug’Briar have fun, anyhow?” She added, her grin morphing into a bit of a happy smirk. She already felt comfortable enough around Mink’Tail to tease her a bit. Her tail swayed side to side, she was feeling very content.

Mink'Tail's mouth opened slightly at the other she's teasing question, but quickly shut it again before other cats around them would notice. In a hushed voice she whispered over to Rose'Cloud.

"Rose'Cloud shush, do you want everyone to think that we did something?"

With a loving 'smack' Mink'Tail slightly bump the she's head with her paw. Her face now portrayed the same look as the other cat's; a happy smirk. With her tail the motioned Rose'Cloud to follow her out of camp, there would be better places to discuss these type of things...

Her grin grew wider at Mink’Tail’s response, and she squeaked at the light bop on her head. She giggled and hurried up behind Mink’Tail, bouncing happily on her paws. As they continued out of camp, Rose’Cloud mumbled something quickly to Frog’Star about hunting. He gave them a quick distracted nod and went back to whatever he had been doing before.

“But you do like him don’t you?” She questioned once they had gotten a few paces out of camp. Her voice was hushed, but edged with a joyful glee that came with discussing anything like this. Rose’Cloud felt hopeful at this opportunity at a new wonderful friendship.

The happiness that Rose'Cloud carried with her seemed to spread over to her as she in turn giggled aswell. As soon as they were far enough away from camp she disappeared behind a bush and gave an encouraging head tilt to show Rose'Cloud to come there too. In a hushed voice she answered to the other she.

"I don't know Rose'Cloud.... Maybe?"

Her voice came out nearly in a whisper as she didn't really know what to say. Mink'Tail's head was lowered in somewhat of embarrassment at the question although the thought of liking someone did indeed excite her.

Rose’Cloud followed behind Mink’Tail, tucking herself next to the she-cat, their pelts touching as Rose’Cloud easily adopted Mink’Tail’s near whisper.

”Well, do you want to like him? He seems to go along with you. I think you guys are cute together! Don’t feel pressured though, it’s your life and you should be happy with it. Don’t be embarrassed either,” She grinned as her voice took another playful edge.”It’s natural for cats to fall head over tail for a tom as charming as Slug’Briar.” Rose’Cloud kept her grin as she batted a paw at Mink’Tail’s head, a soft laugh escaping.


((Everything is my fault I am a lost little one surrounded by a torrent of distractions and life itself has taken up the task of bringing me down. But I will NOT fall. I refuse to be held back by the chains of fear. I will rise again from the depths and take my proper place at the head of the table. I will NOT fall.))

Mink'Tail blushed at the whispering of her friend. She had to agree that Slugbriar was indeed charming but she wasn't sure if a relationship with him was what she wanted. She walked next to Rosecloud and enjoyed the time that the two spent together. A tiny spark in her heart brought her attention back to the other cat. Was it really slugbriar that she wanted to be with? She had never really thought of Rosecloud as more as a friend but she had always admired her beauty and kindness.... Unsure she spoke out.

"I'm not sure rosecloud... but.. what about you, have you ever thought about any other cat?... do you have some kind of cay you're looking for?..."

(That took quite a while, hope everyone had a nice Christmas or anything else you celebrate <3)

Rose'Cloud went silent for a little bit, thinking. It wasn't really something she had considered, well, before Mink'Tail had asked.

"I don't know, Mink'Tail. I haven't really given it much thought... I don't think I could come up with a name" She turned to look directly at Mink'Tail, wishing she could find an answer. It was probably a terribly unsatisfying answer. It gave them nothing good continue the conversation with. And why should Mink'Tail be the only one revealing her secrets? But Rose'Cloud just left it at that, gently smiling to her dear friend.

The she nodded, understanding that Rosecloud might not have even thought about a mate yet. Perhaps Minktail was desperate to feel a close connection to another cat. Relieved that she had figured herself out she sighted and organised her thoughts; Rosecloud was her friend, definitely her best friend and Sligbriar... he was the cat she wanted to love. She smiled to herself, the feeling of liking someone made her feel like she could achieve anything with the amount of happiness piling up in her. Almost too excited to stay still where they were staying iutside of camp. With a nod she motioned the other she to follow her further into the territory.

"I have a feeling we should do something for the clan instead of just chatting here."

Playfully she smacked her tailtip over Rosecloud's ear
