Community UpdateAside from monthly event news posts and the 2nd Friday of each month being focused on art/coding updates, all other Fridays are centered around the community!
Official Lioden RaffleLINK - This is our official community update raffle. Everyone gets a chance to win a rare prize, plus something extra for any runner ups. Bug Fix* Fixed a longstanding issue where food items in clans would sometimes end up with extremely long expiration dates (730,000+ days). Any affected food should have their correct rotting times now. If you do come across any food that is set to expire far in the future, please let us know in the Bug Board!

I know the solution for February encounters has already been found, but I wanted to share my thoughts about them anyway! Wanted to do it earlier but I had a pretty busy week! I play since January of 2019 and I must say, I always enjoyed the uncommon approach for valentine's day in Lioden. I love all these jokes, and drawings of mating animals with their stories never bothered me. I totally understand people with opposite views on this. Sex is a sensitive theme itself, and as a furry artist I tend to forget not everyone is used to pictures of lions in such context! Using various sites to publish my artworks, I noticed most of them have an option to toggle SFW and NSFW. When I'm on SFW settings, I only see artworks from "general" category. When I'm on the other setting, I can see all images from categories named "general", "mature" and "adult". I think this thing could be useful here. We could have such button in our den settings, or maybe in menu... I imagine a SFW user would meet a different encounter, a pair of animals that are flirting or chatting, and NSFW one would see the original picture. Both would have stories with similar context and rewards. I think this is the option worth considering. Another idea is, make many new encounters, so a SFW user would just disable the ones with mating animals, and don't feel like they lose anything. I know this is probably option for a new version of the site because it's hard to add such toggle button now! I hope the adult version of February won't be just erased! Some people say these encounters reminding about sex are disturbing, especially if someone have a traumatic experience in this matter. I totally understand that! With my own experiences I only saw a good side of that, funny jokes and original theme which is different than the approach to valentines seen everywhere else. 7 players like this post!
