You enter the forest with excitement, hoping to find a special creature to bring home with you. In between the trees you can spot a pond that seems to glow in the morning light.

However, your eyes catch a glint in the bushes beside you, and they shiver with movement before something skitters away into the woods.

However, your eyes catch a glint in the grass beside you, and it shivers with movement before something skitters away into the flowers.

You fall into a deep sleep and awaken in a sea of clouds, you’re a bit confused but glance around with excitement, hoping to find a special creature to bring home with you. In the distance you can spot a pond that seems to glow in the moonlight.

However, your eyes catch a glint in the clouds beside you, and wisps of cloud float up as if something is moving within it. But before you can react, skitters away, sending tufts of cloud up behind it.

I go to the pond and sit next to the water's edge, enjoying the morning sunlight.

I follow the creature that skitters off into the flowers.

I follow the creature into the sea of clouds.

You chase the horizon, approaching the crystal pool, tiny fish swim beneath its glittering surface, their black eyes like beads in their skulls and their scales shimmer in more colors than you could imagine.

The breeze tickles your nose as you chase after the little creature, did you catch a glimpse of fur or was that just a leaf in the wind? You can’t tell, but before you know it, you’ve bumped into a large tree, the creature skittering inside a den at its roots.

You chase the moving shape through the clouds, trying hard not to lose it but before you know, you've run into a storm, do you continue on or go back to clear skies?

I start walking off past the pool, deeper into the woods.

A den? I take a good look at it before taking few paces back and sitting on the ground.

I turn and walk back to clear skies.

You walk deep into the woods, the thick tree cover shivering overhead, light dapples the ground through the leaves and everything is bathed in green light, you begin to enjoy the warm day, but you can hear the distinct sound of movement, something is watching you...

You can definitely see fur inside, and after you sit away from it, a tiny shivering nose peeks out, followed by golden eyes. They watch you carefully.

You wander back to where you started, the clouds are endless and the pool is still within eyesight.

"Who's there?!?" I'd call out, a bit nervous. I continue to walk.

"Come on out i'm not gonna hurt you" I'd say with a caring tone, sticking out a hand for the creature to smell.

I'd walk towards the pool of water.

Eyes. You see large, threatening eyes in the deep foliage. "You are tresspassing." A voice booms around you, and you can't help but shiver from the weight of it.

Gingerly, a small rabbit hops out from between the roots. The long shadows that previously covered it's fur are gone now and you can see that not only it's eyes were golden, but the rabbits fur itself seems to sparkle in the evening light.

"W-well i'm sorry i didn't know i was tress passing.. I can leave.." I'd sit down at the base of the tree, waiting to see if the creature would appear.

"See your alright. Man you are so pretty!" I'd let off a soft smile, reaching my hand alittle further to try and pet the rabbit.

"huh only one fish, interesting. well i suppose i should start walking." I'd start walking in a random direction.

A lithe shape stalks out of the brush, the shadows of the foliage still hiding most of its frame. "Do you bring barter for your keep? An offering for me to eat..?" You can hear hunger in the creatures voice and can now clearly make out it's bright yellow gaze.

The rabbit hobbles out, a voice clear like a bell and sweet seems to ring in your head. "You enjoy my coat, dear traveller, do you know of its value?" She seems to be asking you a riddle.

The hues of the clouds change as you step, pinks, violets, yellows, all carefully shadowed by the darkness of the night. It feels almost as if it's getting darker, do you follow the darkness?

"Well... No, but I can find you some food. What do you like to eat?" I'd say alittle more confident. "If not i can just leave too"

"Well i'm not intrigued on the value.. i'm more intrigued on you." I'd tilt my head.

I'd walk into the darkness.

The creature seems satisfied with your response. "I only eat the most beautiful of treats, they keep my coat shiny and my wit sharp." It steps closer, and you can make out the shape of its muzzle, angular and long. "Bring me my chosen treat and I may look upon you with favor." You watch as it settles in the grass, still shadowed by the trees and branches.

Once more you hear the melodic voice, tickling your mind. "What a careful answer you have woven. Careful minds must be accompanied by careful hands, if you can prove to me your hands carry this defining trait, I will grant the wish you arrived here with."

Soon you are surrounded by a stinging black, cold and encompassing, all you can see are stars, but a single star seems to twinkle brighter in the darkness.
