I've been thinking about this for a while now. We've got 4 Panther markings so why not some stripe markings like Liger/Tigon? Visual:   It could of course have different patterns and colors. Tell me what you guys think about this. Every support means a lot. Edit: I understand this isn't really realistic but it's not that outrageous.. I mean we have Panther and Vitiligo and those aren't very realistic.. |

I don't really get why people think this is too unrealistic, we already have stripe markings (leg/tail banding, coat and brindle) this just combines them all into one. I like it, I support. 0 players like this post! Like? |

YES! Honestly people cant really complain about it not being realistic, the majority of markings on this site would never occur in natural lions xD I actually tried making a tiger out of a lioness in wardrobe, and was so upset that I couldn't create stripes out of brindle :P 0 players like this post! No support. And not for any reason about it being unrealistic or anything akin to that. My reasoning is that we should not be romanticizing ligers, not even a little bit on a fictional breeding sim. These animals are incredibly unhealthy and breeding them is highly unethical as they suffer. You can find information on the truth behind ligers here and probably a lot of other animal welfare rights sites and rescues. I know I might be coming off as a "bitch" or a prude or something here, but these are real animals that are being bred for profit even though they are known to be unhealthy and besides from that, tigers really don't need to be breeding with anything other than other tigers of their subspecies considering how endangered they are. If the semantics were changed entirely, I'd probably change my stance on this, but as it stands I can't support anything that romanticizes any form of animal cruelty. 0 players like this post! I love this marking. I wish it was in the game. It's so well done! To please the people complaining about a liger marking, why not just name the marking something different? We have Feline markings after all. Why not name this Tiger 1 or something. I know this isn't a tiger game or anything like that, but we have markings already that make your lion look like a tiger. That being coat markings and leg banding. I see no harm in adding something like this. And please, before you argue realism, please remember we have pink (maroon) and purple (lilac) colored lions. 0 players like this post! Like? |
