Uru

After eating my fill, I saw the cub look at the rest that I had left for him. "Hey you can have some you know, your one of us now." " Will you please at least tell me your name?"

He didn't respond. He just kept looking at the meat in front of him.

"Uru let's see what the others are doing?" I heard Dean say while walking to the exit. I rolled my eyes at the look he gave the cub. "Okay Dean. I'm just coming."

I saw that Dean still gave the cub a nasty look, and the cub cowarded a little. "Take no notice off Dean. I'm sure he will warm up to you when he gets to know you. Anyway we will mostly likely be at the waterhole if you want to come and get to know us. Enjoy your dinner." Giving him a big smile, I headed off with Dean and the others. Looking back over my shoulder to find the cub looking confusing first at the meat, then at me. With a little nudge from Dean, we set off for the waterhole.

Dean

I smirked and stayed close to Uru mostly because I would make her my girl and chase off any other male who tried to get to her "So what happened with you lot to day?" I asked her softly. I was always conserned for her safety as well as the other girls. I couldn't let anything bad happened to her.

Ahadi

I wondered what to do because everything seemed so strange to me, I sniffed the meat before taking a few small bite of the meat, it was very good however I wasn't sure if I should be doing this, I decided that I'd leave it after the few bites.

Nikumu

After getting scolded by mum for first talking to the princess in such a manner, and then for not stopping my sister's in following her. I couldn't believe I was getting the blame for everything, it wasn't fair. I always get in trouble. I walked of to the waterhole after being grounded for 2 moons. Again so not fair, I didn't even go. Ever since dad had left, Kawaii, Hikari and Ongaku was always mother's favourite s they didn't even get in much trouble.
I walked on to the waterhole, I badly needed a swim. So what do I seen that churned my stomach, Dean was getting cosy with Uru. How dare she, he was my Future mate. My life stinks.
I decide to myself, I will ignore them go for my swim and then sit on my rock and dry off. Yeah that's what I will do.

Uru
I met with Hikari, Ongaku and a very tearful Kawaii. "Hey guys, want to come to the waterhole with Dean and me?" I asked politely, praying that they would say yes, not wanting to be left alone with Dean longer than I have to be. I was so thankful that they all said yes. Then I noticed that Kawaii was crying and the Nikumu was not with them. But before I could ask I heard Dean ask me softly. "So what happened to you lot today?"

I just replied what I told him earlier before dinner, "I told you we saved the yellow cub form hyenas." Dean just gave a he a blank stare and replied, "what cub all I see is a scrap of yellow pelt no good for a carpet" I glared up at him as he was taller than me.
"Dean just stop it, there is no need for it!" He said anything but smirked. I stormed off in a rage with the 3 sisters following close behind. We were the first to the waterhole. On the way my anger had started to disappear that farther away from Dean. "Kawaii why are you crying?" I say concerned for one of my best friends.

"Mother grounded us" she replied in tears. Couldn't really understand her. "She just upset that we all got grounded for 1 moon." Hikari added. We made our way to the waterhole only to run into Nikumu. She looked at me with a glare, then stormed off to her rock and began grooming her wet fur.
"Erm Ongaku what's wrong with Nikumu anyway, she's still mad at me for pouncing on her" I asked Ongaku as Kawaii was being taught how to swim by Hikari and Deam was just wandering in the deep end.

"No not really she is just angry that she got grounded for 2 moons instead of 1. Even though mother explained that it was for speaking to you rudely and not stopping us today. But I'm sure she still get over it with time." Ongaku replied, before jumping into the water screaming with delight.
I though Ongaku right. I jumped in the waterhole after her. About 5 minutes later I heard a rustle in the grass.

Dean

I really didn't see anything in that male since I would be the future king and would keep that shrimp away from my future mate. I hoped things would be ok however I would only wonder what would come our way "you should have gotten me, I would have taken those hyenas down easily" I told Uru with a soft smile, things seemed to be good for me after all I was still the only male if you didn't count that shrimp. I knew I would be able to chase him off so with luck I would be the only choice for Uru.

Uru

I turned around the investigate the sound, but it turned out that it was just a bird. I didn't take much noticed just noticed that Dean was smiling softly at me. That smile looked more like a snarl. I come out of the cold water ready to Sun bath the rest of the day. I walked over to my favourite place with the most Sun. Laying down on the heated ground, I started grooming my wet fur.
Dean come over to the nearby hill and said to me with that same smile. "You should of called for me, those hyenas would have been easy to take down."
I was not the slightest bit impressed, I just continued on grooming.

Nikumu
How can he just sap up to her so easily, she's is not even interested in her. Maybe I should try harder.

Dean

I smirked a little and laid down beside Uru, it was nice to be with her however I wondered about the future and what it would bring however I could only wonder. I looked at the sky noticing the sun slowly go down. I planned to get rid of Ahadi as he was no match for me.

Nikumu

I noticed that Deam had laid down next to Uru looking up at the stars. My tears had already started to fall. Ashamed I called to my sister that it was time to go home. Before they could reply I stormed of so they could see me cry.

Uru
I noticed that the other where going home. Dean was right next to me staring up at the stars with a look on is face that said I am plotting something terrible. I wished at that moment that I could read his mind. I looked at the starts smiling to myself. I've always loved watching the stars my dad and me used to do it all the time when I was younger. But right now I was thinking of the future of my pride and the yellow cub.
I could feel in my stomach that something awful was going to happen to him and I had to protect him.

Rei
After talking the the King and Queen about where the yellow cub was going to sleep. It was defied that he was going to sleep in the main sleeping chamber with the royals.
Queen Sekai had given me the order to round up the non talking yellow cub and the young princess Uru who was at the waterhole still.

Uru
I heard a voice jog me from my sleep, I noticed that Deans paw was on mine. I quickly shock it off as if it was a poisonous snake. I again heard a familiar voice. It was rei, called to me and Dean that it was time to return to Priderock.

Dean

I walked beside her as we went home, I would think to talk to Uru's father to see if I could be her betrothal after all I was the best choice since I would be a strong king for the pride and protected it from any danger. I would wait till tomorrow to do so. when we came back I noticed the yellow pipsqueak asleep. I knew he would never be accepted in this pride after all he was too small and weak.

Sekai

I greeted Uru with a loving nuzzle, while giving Dean a quick nod of my head. I watched as Dean looked over at the yellow cub who had fallen fast asleep giving me a nasty smirk almost snarl. I knew that there was something wrong, I just brushed it off. Dean soon bid good night to both me and Uru, before going to his own sleeping chamber.

Uru
I returned the nuzzle form my mother once Dean had gone. I feel more relaxed now that he was gone. "Mother how is the cub is he okay?" I asked her quietly when I noticed him asleep.
"Uru he is fine you must not worry about him so" she replied calmly noticing the worry in my voice.
"He had a few bit of meat, still nervous, I was watching him carefully while you where gone, and the little darling could nearly keep his eyes open." I heard a soft chuckle in her regal voice, which made me smile. I let her continue.
"I went over to him, he trembled when he saw me, so I asked him kindly if he was tired, he nodded, so I gently picked him up gently and carried him to our den. Before we even got their he was already fast asleep."
I gave a little giggle at that. I quickly started yawning myself.

Sekai

I saw that Uru was yawning, "Uru I think it is time for bed, don't you think?" Uru shock her head while yawning. "Right come on My dear bedtime the moon is bright, tomorrow is a new day" I recited the same lullaby my mother said to me while nudging Uru into the den. My heart swelled when she curled up towards the yellow cub falling to sleep instantly.
I went in search of my loving mate, who was watching the stars just like he did when Uru and Banira where born. The look on his face was something of worry.
"You ok my love?" I asked lovingly.
"Oh Sekai I could of lost her today, I don't know what I would of done" he stated sadly.
I muzzled him affectionately. "I know how you feel Mohatu, but she is same and sound they both are, that yellow cub is fast asleep." Mohatu looked in to the den, on seeing Uru asleep next to the yellow cub she smiled. "I think I will let him stay here, I sent Rei to see if he had a pride looking for him, but there is none, he has no where to go."
I felt sad for the cub. "He will stay here, part of our pride."
I nuzzled Mohatu while giving him a quick kiss. "Time to go the bed. We have a busy day tomorrow my love." I said while making my way into the den with Mohatu following me.
I fell asleep almost instantly hoping that tomorrow would be a better day.

Ahadi

The next morning I woke to find I was next to Uru, I noticed that her parents were there also, I slowly got up and sneaked away from the den and sat outside it mostly since I still felt unsure of everything. I heard the footsteps of someone behind me, I looked back to see Dean behind me. Dean wasn't going to do anything yet because he didn't want to make it ovouse to anyone not when he was going to speak to the king. I laid down on the ground watching him closely.

Uru

I was woken by the suns rays on my face, my parents and younger sister were still fast asleep. But I noticed that the yellow cub was gone. "Some friend I don't even know his name" I scolded myself. I got up and stretched cracking the bones in my paws. I walked to the entrance of the den, to find Dean walking into my parent's den. I looked up at him, but he was looking at something else. The yellow cub was lying on the ground watching Dean.

"Good morning Dean" I gave Dean a brief smile.

"Good morning, I hope you slept well." I greeted the yellow cub happily. Before making my way to the waterhole for a quick drink as my throat was sore.

I watched Dean smiled at Uru happily, it was clear that he really liked her, when she left he turned to look at me "Don't even think you can get with a girl like here outsider" Dean growled at me, I guess I knew I shouldn't mess with Dean since he seemed pretty scary.

I woke to the sounds of growling. I had check on Banira who had just woke. It was her first time out of the den, and I was a little worried about it for a while now. I checked the den, I noticed that Uru had gone, so was the yellow cub.

I walked out with an excited Banira. Just as I come from the entrance I saw Dean growling at the yellow cub who was trembling. I always knew that Dean was trouble but, I will not have bullying in my pride. Sure Mohatu ruled the land, but I ruled the pride.
I come forward and announced my presence, "What do you think you are doing Dean?"
I didn't wait for a reply.
"Good morning young one, I hope you had a good night sleep."

I watched Dean walk away from me, I looked at Uru's mother wondering why she was up and helped me. I nodded a little to let her know that I had slept well for the first time in a long time. I wondered what Dean was up to after all I could see that he liked Uru very much.

I was glad the Dean had finally left the yellow cub alone. There was no need. I watched my mate come out of the den yawning.
"What's doing on my sweet?" Giving me a nuzzle.
"Oh just Dean bullying the young cub here." I replied sequestering to the yellow cub who was still trembling.
"Well I'm going to start my rounds, see you later Sekai. Bye Banira. Bye young one" he said while licking Banira and smiling at the yellow cub.
"Well I knew where Uru is, how about we going fine her huh, little one. I could also show you around if you like." I asked kindly to the yellow cub. Banira squealed in excitement and raced off ahead. I looked behind me to see the yellow cub slowly following me.
