Her lips rose sharply at his approach, every bit of her rising to meet the suggested challenge, her sides quivered with the sharp intakes she was taking in, ears pinned back flat as she rose to her paws again. "Was I listening? Yes. But it's your problem. No I've never had pups,I was waiting for someone to come and sweep me off my paws. But you know what beta? I'm raising someone else's pup because they obviously didn't care enough! She is practically MY daughter and I treat. Her. Right. Found out in the plains alone, why don't you go home huh!? Unless your gonna tear into me anytime soon. Your love, sister and daughter all fled? Well I'm beginning to wonder why." Immediately after that last sentence she froze, she'd been in a fit of anger and hadn't watched her mouth. She tensed all over, preparing for his lunge. Coquin gave a snort before taking a menacing step forwards not at all intimidated by the male before her. Why should she be? He was nothing compared to the other wolves she had to fight to survive. "Why don't you just go handsome? I need to be alone." //I'm sorry Kerrin... I'll find you again one day. I'll bring your daughter with me. I'll visit soon.// her thoughts were bringing her down, though the aggressive stance remained her eyes shattered. sadness, regret, hopelessness and worst of all betrayal shone brightly in there dark depths. This wasn't the meeting she was hoping for, she hoped to watch the stars for a bit. But didn't realize just how angry she was with him. "do you know how much it hurts to see the one your falling for with another? To not have them tell you why their gone, visit or talk to them in moons feels? Yes you loved your past mate, but she's gone. She probably felt trapped... Look at it through there eyes for once. Though your daughter most likely never felt the freedom of being a loner she just wanted the experience, though most likely gained much much more. Your mate and sister? Could've been true loners at heart. The pups, most of them anyway, weren't wild in the least, they needed the structure of a pack. Instead of saying they abandoned you, think of them now. Happy, free and not restricted in the least."

Kerrin went deaf to everything the she-wolf said after mentioning that she was caring for his daughter. "Where is she? Where is my daughter," he asked frantically, stepping forward toward the opening of the cave and shoving his head inside. "Izusa! Izzie! Baby girl! Are you in here," he shouted, his have eyes wide and searching, "I'm sorry! For anything and everything." The male's voice cracked as tears welled, his mind a muddle of sadness, happiness, and everything else a father feels when he finds his daughter in the last place he'd guess after searching every chance he had for the past moon. [Short, but sad. ;-;]

Her lips curled up as she instinctively snapped out at the male. Puffing up and shoving into him, "Shut up! She'd just fallen asleep!" She snapped aggressively near his face and stood in front of the small opening into the main den, mama bear mode activated. His words fell on blank ears, full bristled and growling warningly.

Izusa / Loner / 8months(?)

The silvery female's head lifted groggily as she heard her name being called out, she rose to her paws sleepily and shook her silky fur. She almost tripped, her weight being tossed to the as she shook her growing body. She twitched her ears after regaining balance, barely recognizing a voice that floated in through the den. Izusa yawned and began towards the entrance, knowing Coquin's voice all too well. "What's going on?" The young female asked as she padded to Coquin's side, her were half-closed so she didn't see Kerrin.

"Coquin, let me see my daughter," Kerrin commanded, stretching up to get a good view of his daughter, whose ruffled, but silky, fur began to show in the darkness. "Isusa! You're so beautiful and strong-looking," he fawned, pushing forward to try and get contact with his lost daughter. A feeling of regret, yearning, and guilt collided with happiness. With all the dreams he'd been having lately, the male hoped this wasn't going to be one of them. Why would it be? He usually only dreamed of the odd gray she-wolf and his dreamscape was never this detailed.

Once again she warned the male, a ferocious snarl ripping from deep within her. "We have a guest Izusa." Her fur snapped upwards, "back up!" Teeth connected with fur as the loner lashed out. The prolonged contact from the male trying to see his daughter finally pushed her over the edge. "You though she died!" It came out as a deadly hiss, her tail moving to hide the young pup. "I'm telling you One. More. Time. Back. UP." She flashed her sharpened canines, if you feel threatened iz go hide ok?" She whispered the last part to the pup before straightening up and glaring at the beta before her. "your commands do nothing to me."

"No. I wont," Kerrin refused, still craning his neck to peer at his daughter. As the she-wolf mentioned what he had told her, he turned and snapped his jaws. "Because every father who loves his daughter wouldn't," he rebuked, sarcasm obvious in his voice, "You know a lot about fussing over those you love, don't you?" [Suuupppperrrr short.]

Don't bite off more then you can chew beta. Her entire being shuddered with the effort of not shredding him here and now. She didn't reply to him then, eyes raging, her legs propelled her forwards to slam into the male and force him backwards, though claw and tooth did no damage to him. The pissed loner gave the male an eerie smile as her thick tail whipped back and forth. /your just like the others. Say you love them, though treat them like they are nothing./ "Iz your right about them." Was the only thing the she muttered, her voice thick with growls. "Their all the same." She whipped around before turning towards the pup and prowling towards the entrance, she showed no ill will towards Iz just moved back into Their den. Still staying put to keep the alpha at bay. "Do you want him gone Iz?"

Kerrin allowed himself to be forced back, but only enough so that he sat on his haunches stubbornly. "I'm not going anywhere until I have a decent conversation with my daughter, Rogue," he said, his tail twitching in indignation. An idea crossed his mind. "Use their own strategy against them Kerrin,"he told himself mentally. "Oh, but you won't let me, will you," he sighed, "I should remember my experience with you grown she-wolves. Lead a nice male on, and wham, break his heart. But Izusa, you won't have to be like that. You want to break the stereotype? Escape this female."

"Lead you on?" She all be seethed, "your the one prancing around with another! It's not like I was seeing anyone else and left You alone thinking I died or anything." She glared at him, "I helped her become stronger, she knows she can leave at anytime. She's like my daughter and if she thinks she's ready to return and retaste pack life then let her. At least I only want what's best. Talk with her but I'm not leaving." The silver female stepped between them and glared at her father, and without looking at her mentor, she spoke. "He's not prancing around with anyone, if you're talking about who I think you are. That's their Alpha." Izusa informed before directly addressing her father with a snarl.

She lowered down, her legs stiffening but still loose enough to launch herself at him. She pulled her lips further back, her fangs now showing like a rabid wolf's. "Why should I return to that pack?" Izusa asks.

"Why should I return to a pack who only treated me like trash. Wintergreen was the only one who seemed to care. You cared when I was pup." The silver snapped at him this time.

"Ever since Mother left, you've looked at me with a barrier up around you. You looked at me with a hint of regret. You looked at me with pain."

Izusa sat down, her silver and white tail curling around her paw as she twitched her ears. "I stay here."

"You reminded me of her," Kerrin breathed, dropping his head with the weight of his self-loathing, "Of your mother. But not anymore. She was vicious. Cruel. Cared for no one but herself. I thought she cared, and she may have, just enough to give me a son and a daughter. But she left. Fled to who-knows-where. What about Kaori? Ruari? Asahi? Even if you care less about me or your brother or Wintergreen than you do about a shit you took yesterday, they lost a mentor. Kaori adores you. Your cousin loves you. Remember when you tripped down the hill and into the lake? If no one cared, we would have left you for dead. But you're sitting here now, crouched like you're ready to rip my throat from my neck and I welcome you. End my life. Let your poor old dad die to his only biological daughter. It'll make a story for the ages." The male exposed the thick white neck and swallowed, closing his eyes as raindrops began to fall.

She looked down at Izusa with nothing but pride, "it was not their alpha young one. I'd recognize her any where." Her head shook slightly before looking up at Kerrin again, the beta fully exposed to his seething daughter. A slight panic over took the loner, "Iz." Her voice held a slight warning in it. She didn't want them hunted down for killing the beta of that blasted pack, though if it was Izusas wish then so be it. "Do what you wish young one, just remember the consequences of your actions." Even though the beta was here she wouldn't stop mentoring her young one. She was proud of her, "after this we can fish if you like?" She had bent down and whispered the promise into the pups ear, her warm breath flitting over the sensitive ears of Iz.
