Alexandria watched Kate and Lyanna interact, rolling her eyes every-so-slightly at the pair. She's never been in a relationship, and the only person she'd ever had a crush on, well, that definitely didn't work out well. With a soft sigh she drug herself off the chair, half-heartedly waving as Lyanna left with Kate. "I guess food is probably a good idea." She mumbled to herself, starting to shuffle towards the exit to the common room. As she traveled down the halls towards the dining hall, she mumbled quietly to Holly. "Too bad coffee isn't something I can live off." "Damn hyper Hufflepuffs." "Why the hell does it take so long to get to the food." And more. She so thoroughly hated mornings.

Gerrit smiled softly at Namira, his pale eyes sparkling slightly. "Nah. You don't need to move. I'll just take a seat in this chair." He jestured towards a padded lounge chair before promptly turning and planting his butt on the cushion, making sure Milly didn't fall off his shoulder at his actions. He shrugged his shoulders slightly, a puzzled expression slipping onto his face. "Hmm. I wonder why. Probably because I get the chance to speak with you, m'lady."

He smiled cheekily, holding up his cup of coffee and staring at it, as if contemplating the meaning of life. "Ahh. This here liquid life is on a neat little table right around that corner. Would you like me to get you some?" He questioned happily. His head turned quickly when another person walked into the common room, a brilliant smile once again on his face when he spotted the red-haired young lady. "G'morning, m'lady." He called out softly, waving brightly to the fellow 6th year.

After caring for the griffin, she took one of his loose feathers, scratched his head and waved to him. She said her farewell to the creature and her pet before taking off back to the castle. After a few minutes of running, she opened the large doors back to the halls and returned to the great hall for both warmth and some more food. She looked about to see that even more were awake. She gulped and did her best to slip the feather in her bag before any one noticed.

Amyra entered the school, and glanced around. She had arrived a maybe 15 minutes ago, but she had to drop her barn owl,Ryu off before doing anything else. She walked down the halls, her bag slung on her shoulder, and her little black kitten in her arms.She would need to eat before class, so she began the journey to the great hall. Rin began to mewl and squirm in her arms, so Amyra set her down."Lets go get something to eat,alright?" She muttered before continuing. Soon she arrived, and picked up Rin. Amyra walked through the doors and sat down at the Gryffindor table. Rin immediently jump away from her and began inspecting all the food.Amy began eating what she normally ate,a green apple, and set down a bowl of milk for her kitten.

Namira smiled at the cat on his shoulders and reached down to pet Naya, who had tried to wriggle out of her grasp so she could go explore again. She smiled at the boy's comment and looked to the girl on another couch. She looked a bit older than Namira as well. How odd. It certainly wasn't common for older kids to speak to her, as she almost always had her nose in a book.

Namira sat up and held out her hand to the boy, trying to be polite. "My name's Namira. Yours?" She asked him. "Nah, it's alright, I don't think I need any of that anyways, now that I give it a thought. It'll make me way too hyper if I'm already awake like this." She laughed.

Gerrit chuckled softly at Namira's comment, reaching his hand out and shaking her hand heartily, though definitely not hard enough to hurt her. "The name's Gerrit. It's a pleasure to meet you, m'lady." He mock-bowed, smiling brightly before turning towards Alice. "Coffee is what's around the corner." He tiled his head slightly, a questioning look on his face as he spoke. "Hmm. If it would sleep in your pocket, is it a lizard or a rat?" He hoped one of his guesses was correct, but didn't dwell on it too long.

"Oh right. Deary me. Where are my manners. I believe we've seen each other around before, but the name's Gerrit. Tis a pleasure to meet you." He spoke to Alice, smiling softly and offering a hand out. He glanced towards the lion cub in Namira's lap, unable to hold back a soft chuckle at it's struggles to free itself.

Alexandria finally made it to the great hall, sighing gently at the sight of quite a few kids. "Damn. Most aren't usually up this early." She mumbled to herself, slipping quietly onto the Slytherin table before grabbing a bagel, refusing to release the coffee from her other hand. Holly mewed softly, the tiny siamese cat crawling slowly off of Alexandria's shoulder before landing without a sound on the table.

Alexandria continued to gnaw slowly on her bagel, glaring at anyone who attempted to talk to her. "Too early for this." She mumbled as a large group of third-year Slytherin's walked in, acting all high-and-mighty. A quick snap from her sent them scurrying to the other end of the table, a slightly satisfied smile slipping onto her face before going back to gnaw on her bagel and sip her coffee.

"Oh Coffee, any Hot chocolate around the corner?" She asked. "And yea, Alec is my pet lizard, well Bearded Dragon. He likes being called a dragon." She giggled. She looked at the other girl, "Oh goth, I didn't even see you there, wow I'm slow."

"Ah Gerrit, I've seen you around, but never really talked to anyone, I was more of that shy, alone not very social. I'm just trying to change, know people more." She said. Almost forgetting to say her name. "Oh, I'm Alice. Nice to properly meet you." She giggled.

Namira smiled and nodded to him. "It was nice to meet you as well." She watched as he began to converse with Alice, and she waved at her when she noticed Namira. She was a bit fidgety this morning, which, in Namira's case, wasn't a good thing. Deciding she had better go blow off some steam in the forest, she stood up and yawned before leaning down to pick up her lion cub. She smiled and waved at the two to tell them goodbye and headed out of the common room, making her way down to the Great Hall.

Namira passed the Great Hall and headed into the forest, climbing up the nearest tree and setting her lion cub on a branch up top. Naya was sleepy anyways, so she wouldn't fall off, and the branch was wide enough for her body to curl up on. Namira stared up at the sky for a moment as she spotted a flash of golden, which she assumed was the gryphon. "I gotta be careful, then, don't I?" She mumbled to herself before shifting into her animagus form, gaining scales and wings and horns. She shook her head and balanced her claws on the branches of the tree, looking down at Naya before taking off with a flap of her wings that shook the leaves of the tree she was in.

She knew it was rather risky to fly above the treetops, as people might freak out if they saw a black dragon circling in the Hogwarts trees, but she did it anyways. She loved flying, and she never got the chance due to her parents' dislike of magical creatures. She soared around for a while until the sun began to rise up over the trees, its light shining off her scales. She slowly descended towards the tree she had took off in, shifting back the minute she hit the branch. She picked up Naya and jumped down from the tree, making her way back to the Great Hall.

Lyanna smiled and stroked her snake's head again, looking out the window as they walked down the stairs. She groaned loudly as the stairwell to their left, the one they needed to go down, swerved to another floor. She started grumbling about how she really didn't want to do more walking just to get to the Great Hall, and started to look for the longer hallway, quickly finding it and dragging Kate along with her.

Hearing Kate's voice beside her again, she turned towards her and lifted an eyebrow, signaling that she wanted to hear Kate's question, smirking slightly from the little nickname she had given her.
