The swift breeze whipped around Cypresspaw's ears, as the young tom bounded from branch to branch. He loved this, here up in the trees he could move freely. Why his stupid body never let him move this freely on the the ground, even he did not know. Stopping on the large branch of an old oak, Cypresspaw breathed hard. His muscles ached, he had not done that in a while, but his mind was clear now. Looking up, he could see that night was starting to draw closer around him. "Is this right?", Cypresspaw asked, looking up at the stars of Starclan starting to appear.
His ears twitched, voices? His odd eyes turned up again, could it be...? No, no way. Looking down, he heard the voices again. Cats? all the way out here? He doubted Terraclan would do anything today and all the Aetherclan cats were back in camp, wo who was it? Dropping down on a lower branch, his green eye wandered over the ground below his paws. There, pelts. The medicine cat apprentice did not recognised them, loners or rouge probably. How dare they lay their paws here, on Aetherclan's territory? Cypresspaw leaped down, he staggered a bit though. "Who are you!?", Cypresspaw called. He was a bit of a distance away from the two strangers, standing on rock and looking down at them. He wanted the high ground, incase they attacked.

Cypresspaw's ear twitched, as heard the loners voice and demand for him to come down. "My name is Cypresspaw", the young tom said, jumping down the rock. As he landed, he could smell something coming from behind him. Another cat, it was familiar. Cherry, fox-dung, the kit must've followed him. Moving to the side, so that the two loners would not notice her scent, Cypresspaw eyed them.
"This is Aetherclan territory, what do you both think you're doing here?", the medicine cat apprentice asked. He was still on edge, do to the undead animals and cats attacking recently. Why would loners come onto clan territory, did they think there was more prey here?

"Well this is clan territory, so either you leave or you're going to come with me to see Fernstar. She's our leader", Cypresspaw said, bristalling. He might be smaller and a medicine cat apprentice, but he could still climb a tree faster then both of them. He was still an Aetherclan cat and one thing he was good at is running through the trees, Cypresspaw's ear twitched at that thought. 'Great way of thinking, really brave', the young tom thought, scolding himself.

Cypresspaw curtly nodded his head to the she-cat, "What's your name?", the young tom asked, eying the pair. He had said they'd meet Fernstar, but what would the leader say. He'd already brought a kit back and two others had also just joined the clan. Hearing a slight rustle behind him, Cypresspaw's ear twitched. He knew that it had the be Cherry, he had scented her before already. He hoped the kit would stay quiet for now, at least until he had seen if the two loners where a threat or not.
