 This thread is part of the Ilanga’s Adoptions clan, although anyone can adopt cubs here. Please check it out, we’d love to have some new members! You are still welcome to request cubs, but keep an eye out for future changes! Welcome! This is one of Lioden’s longest-existing cub adoption threads, created in October 2018. It has since expanded into multiple shelters and a clan. It’s named after the owner’s first broodmother, Ilanga. All of the cubs here are free for the taking, as long as they are marked as “Adoptable”. All you have to do is write a quick roleplay, even if it’s just a couple sentences long. Once you’ve read the rules, you can speak to one of the broodmothers at the adoption center and let them know which cub(s) you would like! Rules -Please DO NOT kill/tree/sell a cub you get from us! They are looking for permanent homes. -You can adopt as many cubs as you like! Just make sure that you can actually care for all of them. -To make things easier for us, please specify the name of the shelter or broodmother you are adopting from in your roleplay. -You don’t need to include a link to the cub, just their name. -We generally have a first-come, first-serve policy, but if someone puts more effort into their roleplay or message, we might choose them instead. -Please do not argue with the decision of a shelter owner. However, if you have a problem (such as a cub not arriving, or receiving the wrong cub), don’t be afraid to reach out to us! -If you break the rules, we may prevent you from adopting a cub here in the future. -We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Born during the poaching season, Vikela lost many of her family and friends to vicious attacks when she was just a cub. She witnessed firsthand the deaths of countless cubs, and made it her mission to protect as many as she could in the future. She trained as a warrior alongside the pride’s other guards before becoming a broodmother, and as a result, she can seem quite tough and intimidating at first sight, especially to outsiders, who she distrusts. However, despite being a bit overprotective at times, she is popular among her pride and a hero to the cubs she raises. Once you’ve gained her trust, she will be loyal until her last breath.
Despite being an elderly lioness, blind in one eye and beginning to lose her hearing, Khatiba is as sharp as ever. She may not be as fast as she used to be, but she keeps a watchful eye on the playing cubs from her resting spot. When they grow tired of running and wrestling, they gather around her to hear one of her stories. She loves to tell the cubs about legends passed down through the generations, of vicious battles and ancient gods. She is gentle and kind, balancing out Vikela’s fiery energy. You may have met her daughter Kuhle at the clan’s stockpile.
Amina is a very trustworthy lioness. She would die before she saw any of the cubs she protected be harmed. Her goal in life is to find a good home for each and every cub she can. She is confident, kind, and most important to her, gentle. If any cub gets hurt in her presence she will be sure to rush to it and care for it to the best of her ability. Though she may get suspicious of some lions, she does her best to trust every lion and lioness she comes across.

"Hello?" A cold voice murmured, and Byunhyun, who was an adoloscent from last time, appeared. She was an adult now, her fur glinting in the daylight. She was gorgeous. "Suho has requested for me to bring a cub," She nudged Terra forward, meeting the eyes of Vikela, and instantly Byunhyun stared back. Byunhyun's eyes were beautiful, that was a fact, but they held this sort of coldness, as if she was above everyone else. She had a sinister aura, seeming as though she was planning something against you, and knew everything about you. "Hello, Vikela," Her voice had now become lower, scarier, even. Even the cub, Terra, looked momentarily fearful, her soft fur shaking slightly. "I do hope you take good care of this cub..." There was a note of sarcasm tucked away in the emphasized words. Before the broodmother could snap back, Byunhyun whipped around and trotted calmly out of the den, leaving cubs who were playful silent. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Prince William shyly walked up with a gorgeous, female named Queenie, who ironically happened to be William's queen, William walked towards where the den was sitting, he walked up and slowly went to a female who looked like she was in control, "H-hello." The male said shyly, the female beside him snorted, "Really William! I'd like to go home soon!" The female said in a snarky tone, she then turned to the female, "Hello. We were looking for a cub to take back to our pride, and we were wond- William just what are you doing?" Queenie sighed angrily. William was looking over the cubs, before his gaze landed on Havana, he looked back to his queen, then to the female, "Hello there young one. Would you like to come to my pride?" @Loey Vikela narrowed her eyes as the lioness walked out of the den. She led the new cub over to an empty nest in the back, muttering under her breath about how untrustworthy some lions were and how the other broodmothers should really let her increase the security around here. @Account As Dead As My Future Shelela smiled. “Of course she’s avaliable,” she said. “She’ll be a good addition to your pride.” 0 players like this post! In the distance of the far off caverns, a young, but gallant looking male began to approach the caves, his eyes gazing over the "barrier" between the adults and the younglings. As picky as he might've looked, the mysterious male was...quite the opposite as he laid his eyes on Sue, his tail curling over his back as he kindly approached her, his dawn eyes sparkling with a friendly demeanor. "Greetings, young one," His voice softly beckoned her attention, the sound of it like an elder stream's gentle water over smoothed rocks of time, "Would you happen to know where your caretaker is? The large male observed the young lioness, his tail giving a flick over his back to show his friendly intentions as he looked back at the group of adolescents, then towards Amabaia. "Yes," He said, his lips curving upwards to form what resembled a smile, "Are Sue and Blister available?" He curled his tail about himself as he sat down, his ears erect as he groomed himself slightly, trying to look his best, "My prides females are..for lack of a better word, quite elderly.
