The comments the other cubs made about her was still in her mind "You will never be able to hunt" "Look at the weird color on your pelt", they stung slightly, but it didn't bother her all that much "What about you guys, with your dull coats, my pelt color is just fine!" she had replied. She was taking a walk around the cave while her mother sat in the shadows of the cave, her heart sank, her mother would never be able to watch her like all the other cub mothers do, her mother was blind, and on top of all that she was going to be separated from her mother, her mother was going to a new pride. She was going to a different pride a new one, she wanted to explore but she didn't want to get separated with her mother...

Story:

The lioness sat in the shadows of the cave, she has just came back from a hunt. Suddenly everything seemed overwhelming, the idea that she was going to go to a new pride, 'but I'll miss my pride, what about my friends and my family I don't want them to miss me'. The lioness decided to enjoy living at her pride for however long she would stay in the pride, 'That means no negative thoughts about my soon to be pride, wherever that pride is'. That night she helped out during eating time making sure everyone had enough food, she played with the cubs to entertain them while their mothers rested. One day a cub with a bright yellow coat approached her "I hear you are going to a new home soon too, I am too, I'm excited!" the cub squeaked, but stopping suddenly trailing of "But my mother..." she followed the cub's gaze and she saw the blind Lioness she couldn't help but gasp "I'm sorry for your mother but you both can enjoy your time left here in this pride."

Alolu had looked at the many mutated lions and had his eye on a black cub. He wasn’t sure if it was her fur color or a mutation so he went up to her mother. He asked her about her daughter, she replied that it was melanism.
He was stunned, he had never seen or heard of a cub like that. The cub was the only melanism one in the cave, he wanted her. So he laid down next to her and asked,
“If I can, I am willing to come back in a few months until your cub is weaned. I would love to have her. She is very unique, and the lionesses at my pride will love her, as will I.”
He eyes the cub and nuzzled it, then looked at the mother, waiting for her reply.

Walking up to the cave Moriko saw something in the shadows.He walked up and noticed it was a lion.The lion had fur as dark and the night shadows.In love with this lion,Moriko Asked "Would u like to Join my Pride and Live your live to the fullest?".The Mela Didnt not Answer.Moriko told her he would wait for her response.

Up on a Cliff Moriko saw something Reflecting off the sun.He walked up the cliff to see what it was.Once he took a Closer look it was a lion with the fur as golden as the morning Sun and Rich as Gold Nectar.Walking up to the Lion Moriko Asked "Would u like to join my Pride.You will be treated like the trophy u are and will thrive with my pride because we are family and family always sticks together"."I promise to Treat u like a Queen and to make you live your life to the fullest as happy and as rich as it can be"Moriko said.The Lion said nothing.Moriko Smiled and told her he will wait for a response and walked away.

Looking at the Pride Moriko spots a group of mane lionesses.Each lionesses had a different mane type.Moriko walks up to the group and says "which one of you would like to join my Pride? In my pride no one is left out and no one is more liked or different.We are all the same because WE ARE FAMILY".*dramatic music and wind*.The lionesses look at eachother than back at Moriko and say nothing.Moriko accepts their chose and waits.

Is melanistic available? I’ve always wanted one. ( #794130525606)

The small cub mewled for some warmth as she crawled around the cave. Lilac, the broodmother, smiled and picked her up by her scruff and put her by her adopted littermates, Patches (Striped) and Geoi. The melanistic cub crawled over her adopted sister and flopped on the other side to ”wrestle” with Geoi, which was more like flopping over each other, as they were both young and didn’t have much strength. After a fun day of playing, she curled up next to her family, safe and warm.

My king walks by the lions, his head bent down to examine them all. He snorts and turns to his prides Goddess, Nelzieger, and growls. "Old and pathetic. Not a single lion here worth our time. Lets go."
Nelzieger smacks Inradien on the nose and snarls. "How could you say that!?" She protested. "Every lion and lioness here are worthy to join our pride."
Inraiden glowers. "Very well. YOU choose a lioness."
Nelzieger walks around, grumbling about hos glad she is that Inradien retires soon. She looks around to them all kindly, knowing she could only find favor in one to leave other prides someone to take care of as well. Almost at once, she spots Morrigan and her cub and realizes that she is blind, bearing a beautiful piebald cub. She rushes over to Morrigan and gasps, signaling Inradien to come over.
"My king! Look, she has a cub! I dont mean to offend her, but we could take her home and help her care for this lovely little one." She nuzzles the Svelt cub and purrs to ensure Morrigan knows they're friendly.
Inradien rolls his eyes. "Do whatever you wish, Nel. Now come on." He stalks away back to his pride.
Nelzieger groans, turning back to Morrigan and smiling. "Don't worry. My pride will care for you and your little one until your passing days. If youre worried about my king, then let me assure you, I wont let him place a paw out of place while he remains king around you!"
She waits for the lionesses approval to join her.

A queen entered the cave, peering around at the lions and lionesses, young and old. Her eyes light up at the sight of so many. A young cub caught her attention, small with eyes not even open yet. Watching the little one stumble around, she sat down and smiled. Mewling loudly, the cub huffs, struggling to turn around. The queen turns around, noting the little cub as one she would like to reserve for her pride.

Walking around more, the queen notices a beautiful brown lioness. Padding up to her, she purrs a small "hello" before laying beside her. "If I were to ask you to join my pride, would you except my request?" She asks, flicking an ear. Her tail flicks and her frost-like eyes seem to search hers for the lioness' thoughts before she gives her answer.

After hearing the older lioness' reply, she nods and stands, telling her that she will continue looking around for a bit more. Turning her head, she pads around the den until yet another cub catches her eye. One with a golden pelt as well, the queen sits down to watch this cub. It bats at it's sibling, giving a weak playful growl. Amused, the queen watches for a few more minutes before standing to look around once again.

When the queen walks around the back, a lioness' red eyes immediately draw her attention. She pads forward, nodding her head in a small greeting. She lays down beside the golden brown lioness, striking up a small conversation with the friendly gal. Feeling more at ease, she casually asks the lioness about joining her pride.

Baby Pie Svelte 2-
I wander through the cave looking for a lion that Sparks my interest. I go to the nursing cubs, wanting to maybe get a young lioness to train and become my heirs mate or even queen depending on her status. My eyes land on a topaz orange cub that have white Svelte patches. She looked stunning my opinion and Tumare would absolutely love her! She yawned and looked up sniffing in the air at me moving away from the warmth of her mother and sister and made her way to my paws nuzzling them. Her mother chuckled, "she has taken a liking to you!" My eyes lit up and smiled to the mother , "does she have a name?" The older lioness sighed "no k won't get the chance to name her since she will be given away once she is weaned" she frowned. I looked at her for a second and smiled "I will do my best to earn her, and once I do that I will make sure she has a fitting name for her beauty and she will be treated like royalty!" The mother smiled nodding thankfully as I picked the squealing cub up and put her back at her mother's belly. I nuzzled the tiny squirming cub and smiled purring, "I will be back for you". I exited the den and smiled looking back, my tail swaying as I thought of names for this cub and he beauty....

Topas Pie Svelte #794130525744 !!!!

What a cutie I've never had a pie and am working on turning my den into a themed page with lions that have lore and personalities I can write stories and draw art about! She would definitely be a keeper with a theme of honor and maybe a tribal aesthetic. I'll use the placeholder name Theodosia so for example in a lil interaction if she was an adult with one of my boys:

Theodosia's ears flicked as feline eyes glimmered in the swaying grass. The lioness stalked her prey slowly. Suddenly the wind brought a sound to her ears that made her stop in her tracks. A dark maned young male was creeping up on an unsuspecting wilderbeest, his long pointed fangs parted to track the scents. Theodosia tilted her head, a male hunting? how unusual, and his strange appearance, fangs and thick fur that seemed out of place on the savannah. She couldn't help but let out an amused chortle as he missed his pounce and landed in the grass like a cub.

Magenta eyes. Oh gods he had spotted her. If a submale was out it meant she was in the territory of a king. She wasn't going to become a victim or harem member if an older male showed up as backup. She pinned her ears back and puffed out her chest. "I'll soon leave, lest I ruin your hunt" she said with a hint of teasing. The boy lion was... trotting over! She raised an eyebrow skeptically but his earnest eyes kept her from running away.

"Did I scare off your prey?" the young primal looked guiltily at the fleeing herd and let out a huff. "I'm sorry, lionesses provide the pride with food. I didn't even catch the wilderbeest." his head lowered. "at least with you the cubs of your pride would have full bellies." he scraped the ground with his paw in the dust.

Taken aback Theodosia shook her head "Oh no, I'm between prides right now. No cubs will go hungry because of your clumsy pounce" she replied with a slight smile.

The youth smiled in return "I'm Atreus, you know if you ever need a new pride our king takes care of his own" he nodded in appreciation as he loped away.

While on a routine checkup around the borders, Sembali noticed a lioness with a particularly interesting feature about her. Her ears were folded. Mustering up the courage to speak to her, he bowed his head in greeting.

“Hello. I’m Sembali. I happened to notice you sitting alone. I offer you a place in my pride. There are many lionesses in which you can befriend, and I’m sure plenty of cubs will fall in love with your beautiful ears.” Throwing in a dashing smile, all the king could do was wait for a reply. His hopes were that the lioness would accept his offer, but that would be her decision to make.

Story:
It was a cold day when Kinght was walking thru the mountains on exploration for new lands for his ever so growing hunger for more land, more lionesses, and more power. He walked up into the highest peaks where the snow caped them. Once half way up he heard what sounding like a mewling hungry cub, intrigued he went towards the sounds of this cub, once to the sounds he found dead in the snow a golden colored lioness but alas did not see the cub but he still heard it. He looked under the lioness' tail, not there, under her neck, not their either, under her back paws, nope, finally he flipped the lioness compleatly over thinking she died laying on her cub. What he found was a cub as white as the snow she was in, his dark cold twisted heart felt a glimmer of warmth for the first time, he picked the cub up in his mouth like he saw his lioness do and carried her off to his pride to be well taken care of my the brood mothers.
