Oviyans mind was muddled with thought as he searched for the older lion. His nose worked hard to catch a familiar sent. The young king limped on his foot. That, unbeknownst to him, had reopened and left small smears of blood on the ground below. It wasn’t bleeding bad, but enough for the irony sent to waft in the wind. By the time Oviyan had noticed, dirt had already soaked into the cut. He sat down again to clean the wound, and realized that he was at the very border of his territory. He kept an eye on the surrounding brush as he sat.

Sochi Lifted his head and smelt a different scent of blood in the wind, he shrugged it off and finished his fill. He looked at the zebra, there was still plenty of meat left on it. He grabbed one of the legs and began dragging it to the empty den he had found awhile back, he called that den his own. He knew the way but he had gone far from the den due to the chase of the zebra who led him near the pride. The den wasnt too far from the pride but it did have distance from it. He sighed and continued on.

After a short break of gazing off into nothing, Peck jumped to. Her jaws gripped around a leg of the zebra her claws pierced the ground. With all the strength built into her, Peculiar tugged. The full plump creature barely moved. With another pull the black striped body pulled into motion. Peculiar kept a heavy set pace, at most keeping the prey dragging. The take down had taken place far from where the pride nested. This journey would definitely take a good while.
Peculiar huffed as she dropped the leg just outside the camp. A pant escaped her as she caught her breath. She could dump the prey and leave, or she could pull it in herself and spend time in chatting. Her ears tugged back against her skull before she reached for a grip again.

Oviyan sighed and decided to lay down for a bit. Pushing himself didn’t get anything but more pain. He reflected back on jumping into the tree, what a stupid idea that was. He was to old to be climbing in trees like a cub! Besides, he’s a king now, and if anyone had seen... his thoughts trailed off and he shook himself. “Where is bear?” He asked his surroundings, not expecting any answer. “He must have found something worth investigating.” He sighed, staring up at the slow moving clouds.

Salem was starting to get worried about the others being gone so long she started getting hyper so she bounded off into the dusty plains she needed to burn off some energy she was also looking for something to munch on

Sochi walked past the border of the pride and looked at it but continued his way to the den, he knew staying by the border of the pride can get him into trouble so he decided to move away from it and just get the zebra carcass to his den that way he can save it.

Salem was enjoying herself and she caught herself a tender rabbit she would go hunting for the pride in a little she started heading back to the only home she had ever known it was comforting as the king had found her when she was only 3 months old nobody knew about her or anything

Oviyan rolled back to his feet, and deciding that bear could find his own way home headed back to the den site slowly. He walked carefully, trying to keep the cut from reopening. Once he reached view of the cave he stood tall and squared his shoulders, trying to hide his pain from his pride. He didn’t want to create some story of how he hurt his paw.

Salem had saw oviyan at the border and bounded up to him her colorful fur rippling as she sped towards him to ask how it went she skidded to stop in front of him"how did it go" she asked happily she was still hyper even the run she went on didnt help

with a thud on the ground from the carcass dropping, the Lone male had arrived to the den he called his own. He looks around and sighs, it was lonely but he has gotten use to it. He dragged the carcass again and placed it in the back of the den. He yawned tired from his hunt, he walked on the nesting he made and laid down getting comfortable. He looks out of the entrance and laid his head on his paws falling asleep.

“It was...” oviyan hesitated slightly, smiling at the lioness, “it was uneventful, the prides Terriory is secure. Although I found an old leopards prey up in a tree.” He tried to conceal his surprise at the lionesses speed, “bear is still patrolling, I didn’t meet up with him before heading back. He’ll find his way home.” His ear flicked slightly as a twitch of pain came from his paw again. Trying to brush it off, he changed the subject, “has anyone hunted yet? If not we should organize a hunting party.”

Galaxy went out for a walk, yes not the best idea but yet she didn't truly care. She can fight if she needed to, walking off towards the waterhole she let her ear twitched as she listened to the calls of the zebra herds and the splashing of the crocodiles. Lowering her body down to take a drink, letting out a loud snarl if a crocodile got to close.

“Ask samira, she’s always up to hunt.” He said, internally chuckling at the lionesses energy, “I can find some of the other lionesses if they’d be willing to hunt.” Oviyan spoke kindly, his gaze flicking from Salem to the the rocky den entrance. He could swear that there where two soft, yellowish eyes glinting back at him from the shaded den.

Samira watched the two talk, her dark spotted fur sheltered from the suns rays. Frankly, she was glad the two where talking, but could tell something was up with him. Samira had grained alongside the young king since infancy, and could tell when he was hiding something. She growled quietly to herself as she got up. She’d get it out of him.
